But then that would make the Whites look kind of stupid for discriminating against black dogs, wouldn’t it? I mean, other than color is there any difference between, say, a black Labrador and a cream colored Labrador, in behavior?

Re your last thought, given the limitations of black thinking described in the article, it wouldn’t surprise me that some blacks would interpret the sign that only black dogs are banned.
