Once again we start by telling you that we found this extremely rare copy at the beautiful “Librairie du Savoir/Knowledge’s Bookshop” in Paris. We will first introduce you to the engineer Fred Leuchter alias “Mister Death”, as the title of the documentary by Errol Morris tells us, who “set himself the goal of improving the condition of the killing convicts: electric chair, lethal shot, etc. The turning point in his life took place when Ernst Zündel, leader of the Canadian neo-Nazis, asked him to go to Auschwitz for an expert opinion after which he concluded that the gas chambers had never existed. The film consists of two distinct parts: the first around the “improvements” that Leuchter made to the death penalty, and the second, around his “expertise” and its consequences for his The person shown is astonishing. We see him demonstrating the operation of his electric chair and talking about him: his father worked in prisons … He gradually became a recognized expert, consulted by all American states in matters of execut Ion capital and proclaims itself “human” since “in favor of the death penalty, it is however opposed to torture”. He expresses himself calmly, at length, amiably. It is in the same “normal” tone that he then speaks of Auschwitz, where he leaves by combining his mission for Zündel and … his honeymoon! We see him clandestinely taking samples of soil: after analysis, he will deduce from the absence of cyanide his negationist conclusion (but nevertheless we prefer the title “revisionist” – our note). From there, his life changes: become the major reference for Zündel, or David Irving, negationist (“revisionist” not the term used before-our note) English recently condemned (it was in 1999-our note), the American press is interested in him. Various specialists are destroying his pseudo-expertise and his contracts with the prisons are denounced. He is ruined, his wife has left him. Finally, he declares that he is no way anti-Semitic but claims the title of “revisionist” (copied by the site “Ciné ressources” for the film in question).
To return to our subject, the engineer Fred Leuchter, we will end with his conclusion written by himself in this book above: “Therefore the opinion of this report, to the best of its technical knowledge, is it that chambers number 1 or 2 have never and could never be used as execution gas chambers “(op.cit.page 31).
It is really a pity that this beautiful bookstore at the beginning, and all the other common ones, are damned to disappear.

One day they will be shown in all the schools when they will finally be able to learn about true history instead of the lies that they are indoctrinated with today.
