Peter Whittle: Hello and welcome. Welcome to So What You’re Saying is …. I’m Peter Whittle. Now, what do you do if your career stalls because you’ve been accused of racism or having the wrong political views? Well, that’s something which more and more people are facing. But some of them are fighting back.

 

Amy Gallagher, a nurse and psychotherapist, is one such person, and she joins me today. Thank you very much for coming in, Amy.

 

Amy Gallagher: [word unclear] Peter.

 

Peter Whittle: Now, you are in the middle, are you not, of a legal battle?

 

Amy Gallagher: That’s correct.

 

Peter Whittle: Before we go into the story, can you just tell me what that entails, actually, the legal battle?

 

Amy Gallagher: So I’ve brought initiated court proceedings against the Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust. That was served to them at the end of March. The charges that were bringing against them are; religious discrimination, racial discrimination, discrimination on the basis of philosophical belief, harassment, and victimization. We’re waiting for their defense. We’re in the process of negotiating with their lawyers. And there’s external and internal complaints investigation still going on right now. So very much live.

 

Peter Whittle: And so you are Crowdfunding for this, aren’t you?

 

Amy Gallagher: Yeah. I started Crowdfunding, yes. It’s going to cost an awful lot of money! [chuckling] I’m getting some expert witnesses to testify against some of these ideas. I want this case to be as impactful as possible. But to do that does cost quite a lot of money. Yeah.

 

Peter Whittle: A lot of people, a lot of our viewers will not have heard of your case. I know it’s been reported in the national press, but can you sort of tell us, really go into some details, tell us from the very word go, what actually happened to you?

 

Amy Gallagher: Yeah, so just to explain. So I’m mental health nurse, I work in the NHS. And I was training to become a psychotherapist. I’d already done, two years at the Tavistock and Portman, and graduated with a postgraduate diploma. And then to finalize that, to become a qualified psychotherapist, I needed to do two more years.

 

So I enrolled for the final two years in the academic year of 2020..

 

And it’s very quickly into that academic year that I started to have issues with some of the things that they were teaching. So it started with a lecture that I had to attend titled, Race and Racism. And it was extraordinarily political. It really had nothing to do with psychology or psychotherapy. There are psychological studies about race and racism, et cetera. None of that was mentioned.

 

It was all about Black Lives Matter and Meghan Markle, and the Critical Race Theorists were being quoted, not psychologists. And Christianity was being mentioned quite negatively on a couple of occasions within the lecture.

 

So it felt very it had an agenda, really, and was not relevant to the training.

 

So at the end of that lecture I mentioned in the Question and Answers section, I said:

 

“You know, it feels that this is quite politically biased. And I’m curious about why you’re singling out Christianity in this lecture.”

 

And the lecturer said:

 

“Well, Christianity is responsible for racism because it’s European.”

 

Peter Whittle: Just like that?

 

Amy Gallagher: Yes. And there seemed to be the idea that I was in the wrong for even questioning. So I started to be quite concerned about the political bent of the course. And then not long after that lecture, I was sent a lecture called, Whiteness a Problem for Our Time. This was advertised as being a policy seminar, and it was a celebratory lecture of a hundred years of the Tavistock. And it was being highly publicized on their website, and it was being sent to me.

 

I looked on the website, it was essentially Critical Race Theory. So it was saying things like, Whiteness and racism are the same thing. They put on their website that it’s a job of White people to tackle racism, specifically White people.

 

And the lecture, so I watched it, and it was just an hour of ideology. No reference to psychological research, no debate, no other side to what they were teaching. It was just:

 

“Oh, White people this, White people that!”

 

I mean, if you go onto my Crowdfund, go fund me, Stand Up to Woke, I’ve created a video that shows some of the things they were saying. But it was, you know, White ignorance, White privilege, White Fragility, White people don’t understand the world. White people this, White people that.

 

Peter Whittle: Racist, in other words?

 

Amy Gallagher: Racist! Very racist! Yeah. And it’s not saying there is this thing called Critical Race Theory, and it says this, and you can disagree with it or you can agree with it. It’s not a debate. This is the teaching.

 

So I responded to that and said, you know, in an email, responding to their email, I said:

 

“This is actually an ideology. And I personally don’t think being White is a problem, and it shouldn’t be seen as a problem.”

 

I said:

 

“We need to be aware that there’s different viewpoints of clinicians. We could be treating patients who don’t like these views, and don’t view the world in this way.”

 

And I encouraged a debate, essentially.

 

Peter Whittle: Were you in a lecture hall with lots of people?

 

Amy Gallagher: No. This is all online. Because of the pandemic.

 

Peter Whittle: Of course. But you actually brought points up on spot, did you?

 

Amy Gallagher: Yes.

 

Peter Whittle: What was the reaction of other people?

 

Amy Gallagher: There wasn’t any reaction from other students, but I essentially got called into a meeting after that, by the course lead. And the [word unclear] was:

 

“We need to talk about how you responded.”

 

Essentially reprimanding me. And in this meeting, she essentially said:

 

“Well, if you don’t agree with these ideas, the course might not be right for you.”

 

She said:

 

“You know, we’re an anti racist organisation.”

 

And I said:

 

“Well, I’m also anti racist. I’m against racism. And my understanding of that is not judging a person by the colour of their skin, treating people equally, not having prejudice towards anyone.”

 

She says:

 

“Well, we see that as discredited and outdated at the Tavistock.”

 

Peter Whittle: Discredited and outdated? In other words, what Martin Luther King said.

 

Amy Gallagher: Yeah, it’s discredited. They don’t say how it’s been discredited, or by whom. They’ve just decided that it’s discredited.

 

They don’t care about any kind of evidence [chuckling] for their assertions. So I said:

 

“This lecture, Whiteness is a Problem for Our Time, is this the view of this particular lecturer, or is this the view of the whole Trust?”

 

And she said:

 

“Oh, I think it would be the view of the whole Trust.”

 

I said:

 

“What, all White people are racist?”

 

And she said:

 

“Yes, I think that would be the view of the Trust, the Tavistock Trust.”

 

And she said:

 

“It’s a bit like the way there’s an inherent sexism in all men.”

 

And I said:

 

“Why? I don’t agree with that either. That doesn’t really help me.”

 

And she said:

 

“Well, we’ll just have to leave it there.”

 

But there was an idea that going forward, I’d have to sort of watch what I say, essentially.

 

Peter Whittle: Really?

 

Amy Gallagher: Yes.

 

Peter Whittle: How did you feel after this?

 

Amy Gallagher: Yeah, I was so shocked! I couldn’t believe it. I thought, surely they would allow for a debate. To me, it’s quite outrageous to even do a lecture like that, whether it’s openly racist. But to say then actually you can’t even disagree. I just couldn’t believe it. And I was paying tuition fees into this institution that was pushing ideas that I just find totally unacceptable.

 

So my first thought was, :

 

“I don’t want to continue. I don’t want to pay money into this institution.”

 

And I don’t even know if I want to be part of the profession, if it’s going in this direction. So I had a think about it. And then I put in a complaint and I just said:

 

“This is what’s been said. It goes against the Equalities Act. It’s discriminatory towards certain groups, namely White people, Christians, and men have all been singled out.”

 

They responded to that and said:

 

“Well, we’re taking your complaint very seriously. We’ll look into it.”

 

And then three days after I made that complaint, I got a Progress Report sent to me about my progress in the course. And they said:

 

“You’re doing really well with patients, your clinical work is fine.”

 

And then in the covering letter to the email, the course Lead, who’s the one that pulled me into the meeting, she said:

 

“That the Progression board have noticed that your personal views aren’t in keeping with the Trust’s anti-racist thinking, and you need to do some more learning about diversity.”

 

Peter Whittle: This is just appalling!

 

Amy Gallagher: Yeah. If someone’s saying to you, your views aren’t “anti-racist”, that implies that you’re a “racist”.

 

Peter Whittle: Yes, of course. It’s sort of Stalinist, isn’t it?

 

Amy Gallagher: Yes! It is! What have I said? I’ve said I’ve actually disagreed with racism. It’s a complete inversion.

 

Peter Whittle: Yes.

 

Amy Gallagher: Yeah. So I couldn’t believe this was happening! I can’t believe that’s been written to me. So I added that to my complaint, and I said, look, it felt like a veiled threat, because it’s part of my progress on the course. So they said:

 

“Okay, we’ll look into that as well.”

 

While they were doing this so-called investigation into my complaint, they continued to send me reading material that pushed the same ideas, essentially. So they didn’t seem to have any hesitation with that.

 

They sent reading material that quoted Robin DeAngelo quite heavily.

 

Peter Whittle: Oh the White, …

 

Amy Gallagher: White Fragility. Robin DeAngelo is not a clinician. She’s not a psychologist. She’s just a random person that just writes a load of racist stuff. It has no legitimacy in the academic sense, got no evidence behind it.

 

And they are using her ideas essentially as their main “go to” for race and racism. And the stuff that they sent me essentially said that Christianity is responsible for racism, because of its use of the words “light” and “dark”. They said, oh, just more of the same stuff. White Fragility, White people this, White people that. So I just noted that. I didn’t say anything.

 

And then at the end of that term, there was a review of the term, and I was asked by the course leader how we were finding things so far. She actually asked:

 

“Is there anything that you don’t like, or anything that’s annoyed you so far?”

 

And I said:

 

“Well, I actually don’t like this reading material that’s been sent. Again, it’s discriminatory.”

 

I said:

 

“This writer, Robin DeAngelo, she’s not a clinician. None of her ideas are evidence based. They’re extremely radical, and they are racist. And I don’t know why this is being sent to me.”

 

She told me to stop speaking.

 

Peter Whittle: Oh!

 

Amy Gallagher: Yes. And a couple of days later, she sent an email to me saying that she was raising a student conduct policy against me.

 

Peter Whittle: Purely for disagreeing?

 

Amy Gallagher: For disagreeing! Yeah. And being skeptical about ideas. Like I said, as you should do as a student. You should be curious. You should express a kind of skepticism, and trying to understand ideas. She wrote in her email that the way I disagreed was inappropriate. She said:

 

“I’d caused the learning environment to become traumatic.”

 

She wrote that to me in an email. She told me that I was vexatious, that it was inappropriate for me to have disagreed. She said:

 

“It was inappropriate for me to have expressed my personal opinion.”

 

Even though I was asked what my opinion was. It doesn’t make sense. And she said there would be an investigation into me. That didn’t happen. [chuckling] Basically, about seven weeks later, I just got a letter sent to me from the Deputy Director of Education and Training at the Tavistock. And she just essentially said:

 

“We’ve done an investigation into you. It’s completed.”

 

And actually, according to their own policies, they’re supposed to meet with me, and hear my side of the story, and have a mediation process. They didn’t do any of that.

 

They just sent a letter saying to me:

 

“If you continue to speak inappropriately about race, you could be suspended from the course, or it may even affect your ability to enter the profession of psychotherapy.”

 

Peter Whittle: Really?

 

Amy Gallagher: Yeah. At no point have they told me what I actually said, that’s inappropriate. So I wrote a further complaint about that.

 

Meanwhile, the investigation that was going on into my complaint was completed, and I got an Investigation Report to the complaints that I raised. In that they essentially said that:

 

“They’d realized that the view of Whiteness as a system of power and privilege needs to be written into their policies more, not less.”

 

And they said that:

 

“Actually, we encourage all students to interrogate Whiteness.”

 

Essentially, I was the problem, really, and that I was incapable of learning, that I was defensive, and I needed to be helped to understand these ideas more.

 

Peter Whittle: And let’s be clear, this is in a kind of a public health environment, isn’t it?

 

Amy Gallagher: Yes.

 

Peter Whittle: What the hell has any of this got to do with that?

 

Amy Gallagher: Yes, so this is a clinical training to work as a mental health professional in the NHS. The Tavistock and Portman is an NHS Foundation Trust.

 

Peter Whittle: What’s the relationship with the famous Tavistock?

 

Amy Gallagher: Yes, it is. It’s all the one thing. The Tavistock that we’ve heard about in the news, it’s the same institution. It’s not a humanities course, it’s not a philosophy course. It’s a training to work to treat individuals, which is just so insane! Because you will be working with individuals that have all different views. So the idea that there can only be one view, how can you work with the public? It just makes no sense to me.

 

So, yeah, they put that investigation report back to me and I appealed. I appealed all their investigation reports. And in the appeal, they just doubled down. They said:

 

“As White people, we have a privilege that other races don’t have. That’s a fact.”

 

They said that:

 

“Well, Christianity, Europe, in the name of Christianity, is responsible for the inequalities we see today in health services.”

 

We have no reference points for that and no evidence. That’s a “fact”.

 

Peter Whittle: I’m bound to ask, did you get any help from any kind of bodies, or associations, in your field?

 

Amy Gallagher: No, not the Tavistock. Nobody. I’ve gone all the way through the complaints procedure, all the way up to the CEO. Not a single person has reached out to me, or helped me, or even said, you’ve got a perfectly valid point, or I can see your point of view. They just keep telling me that they’re an antiracist organization. And that’s that.

 

Peter Whittle: That’s a complete capture of the language, isn’t it?

 

Amy Gallagher: Yeah, it’s a complete capture of the language.

 

Peter Whittle: I mean, what I’m interested in, do you think that your peers on the course on the Web, would they just be going along with it? I mean, this is the point where when people are subjected to this whether it’s in the private sector, or public sector, I think often the kind of response is, just for a quiet life, is to kind of go along with it.

 

Amy Gallagher: Yes. I think it’s a bit of that. I think that there are probably, … I think the field of psychotherapy and psychology is quite Left leaning. People that go into it are generally empathetic, compassionate people who lean in that direction. Not that people on the Right aren’t those things. [chuckling]

 

Peter Whittle: No, no.

 

Amy Gallagher: But they are quite overly emotional. They’re drawn to Left leaning politics. So I think there is an imbalance in that field, I think, politically.

 

So I think there are some people that don’t want to speak up and there are some people that probably agree with it. And then you get the odd ones like me that will say actually:

 

“Hang on. What does this mean?”

 

Peter Whittle: Has it given you second thoughts about actually having a career in psychotherapy?

 

Amy Gallagher: Yeah, it did, quite a bit. I really enjoyed my career in mental health. And I love being able to help people and I do love the profession when it’s done in a genuine way. The original pursuit of psychotherapy is to help somebody understand themselves and the truth about themselves. It’s working with individuals. It’s actually completely the opposite of a collectivist thinking. You’re working with an individual. The ethics of nursing and of psychotherapy is that you’re creating a nonjudgmental neutral space. That’s what I’ve always been taught as a clinician.

 

This ideology completely goes against that. Because you’re being told to make judgments about people before they even said anything. I’m being told that my patients, black or Asian, that they’re going to be feel threatened by the fact that I’m White. I’ve got to assume that they have experienced racism and that they’re a victim.

 

These are all assumptions.

 

Peter Whittle: Yes.

 

Amy Gallagher: Because when you work with individuals, as I have for many years, you see how much people are different. Everyone has their own unique story, and it’s only when you hear them speak that you have an understanding of what they think or feel.

 

Peter Whittle: Yes.

 

Amy Gallagher: But this ideology is telling you to assume things about all sorts of groups of people before they’ve even said anything! But to me, that is completely against what I’ve been taught as a clinician.

 

Peter Whittle: Well doesn’t it sort of completely delegitimize the whole professional?

 

Amy Gallagher: Yes it does. Yes. It’s complete opposite. And the ideology itself is extremely, goes against all the things that I’ve been taught as a mental health professional. It’s hysterical! It catastrophizes! It jumps to conclusions about certain things. It assumes what’s going on in the other person’s mind. It’s very all or nothing in black or white thinking, to use a pun. There’s baddies and there’s goodies.

 

These are all psychological mechanisms that I’m generally trying to help people move away from!

 

And actually now at Tavistock they’re indulging in these sort of things. So it’s like they’ve embraced neuroticism, essentially [chuckling]! And they’re advocating for it. Because Critical Race Theory and woke ideology, it is negative thinking, essentially. There’s a paranoia about it. Everything’s oppressive, everyone’s against you! And ordinarily you’re trying to help people to see nuance, to not think like that! And now they’re advocating that you should think like that! And you should encourage other people to think like that!

Peter Whittle: The people, for example, the person who said to you:

 

“You’ve got problematic views, basically. And you should see this because you’re White. It’s not going to fit with what we do here.”

 

Those people, do you think that they have themselves been captured by this, or were they always there? Because I know it sounds crazy. There’s a thing that people ask us so much, and it’s a very good question, really.

 

How come, so quickly, this seems to have become endemic in all of our institutions and professionals?

 

Amy Gallagher: Yeah, as I can see it, some of these people are true believers. That’s just my experience. They are ideologues. But they’ve been emboldened by the fact that the institutions are now backing up their ideas. So they probably always fought like this. But now the institutions they’re working are calling themselves an antiracist organization. So they’ve got legitimacy now. And they’re sort of coming together as a group and feeling more that they can push these ideas. Where before, maybe not so there’s a kind of a groupthink happening in the institutions.

 

I mean, these ideas have always been around, unfortunately, in psychology. The original psychoanalysts, Freud and Jung and Klein, they weren’t particularly political. In fact, Jung actually spoke about the dangers of ideology. But then it was, in the sort of 1950s, the Frankfurt School, and Critical Theory, they took these ideas of psychoanalysis and essentially fused it with Marxism, essentially.

 

Peter Whittle: Yeah.

 

Amy Gallagher: So you see Herbert Marcuse talking about “false consciousness”. You have a Adorno talking about the sort of the “authoritarian personality” type. So they are a kind of pseudo psychology, where they’re using terms like “unconscious” and “personality types”. They’re not psychologists, they’re essentially communists. But they’re twisting the ideas of psychology to merge it with these ideas.

 

And as I can see it, that merger has not properly been reckoned with in psychology. It’s always hung around. So you see how it kind of goes in and out of these ideas.

 

Peter Whittle: Yeah.

 

Amy Gallagher: Especially with Critical Race Theory, there was a psychologist, psychoanalyst called Franz Fanon who wrote about, thought he would be a Critical Race Theorist, if he was alive today. Sort of [word unclear] type. But he spoke about this idea of black skin and White mask. The idea of acting like a White, and Whiteness is being educated. Really racist stuff, actually! That you see the way that Kwasi Kwarteng was treated when he was told that he was superficially black.:

 

“He’s acting White!”

 

Which is extraordinarily racist thing to say about black people. If they’re educated, they’re acting White. This comes back to some of these ideas that we saw in psychology and psychoanalysis in the 1950s.

 

Peter Whittle: So really they’re carrying on the kind of tradition?

 

Amy Gallagher: Yes, in a sense.

 

Peter Whittle: Intensifying it.

 

Amy Gallagher: Yes, it was always there. It was always like a sort of niche, I would claim. That they had this offshoot of kind of Marxist psychoanalysis. But now that’s become the mainstream! Essentially what they’re doing, is they’re sort of Marxist literary analysis of patients! They’re saying:

 

“This patient has got ‘false consciousness’.”

 

This is a Marxist idea. It’s not clinical psychology.

 

And it’s terrifying! Because this is now, like I said, it’s become the inversion of what it should be. It’s encouraging pathology. It’s encouraging your neuroticism! And that is now coming more mainstream.

 

Peter Whittle: Yeah. You sound politically pretty well informed. Were you interested in politics before you, … I mean, have you been political in any way?

 

Amy Gallagher: So a little bit. More interested in culture than politics, I would say. But before, I was trying to be a nurse. I did a degree in English literature, which I found essentially to be a degree in Critical Theory. So that’s [chuckling] what it is now! But I love literature. But I was being asked to do Marxist critiques of books. At no point in my degree was I told, why it is that I’m doing that. Why are we looking at it through this lens? Why not any other lens?

 

And so I was very dissatisfied with that, and dissatisfied with academia in general. I mean, I did quite well at it, but I felt that I was writing things that essentially I didn’t believe in. So I decided to go into nursing because it was just so radically different from academia. I thought:

 

“Well, it’s not political, it’s just helping people, it’s working with people. And get away from all those theories and ideas.”

 

And then as I’ve gone along, I’ve found that these ideas that I tried to get away from have crept in to the NHS, and into nursing.

 

I remember when I was nursing and with the Black Lives Matter protests, I was being told to speak to my patients about that. But if you’ve got a black or an Asian patient, you need to speak to them about the Black Lives Matter protest. Well, that to me is you’re going in with an agenda if you do that. And actually, it’s extremely offensive to assume that somebody, because they’re black would be affected by Black Lives Matter. They might not care about it, they might not agree with it, and they might say:

 

“Well, I haven’t come to talk to you about that. Why are you raising that with me?”

 

So I started noticing it coming in nursing. And then it wasn’t until this final two years at the Tavistock, where I was shocked! I just thought:

 

“Wow! It’s gotten really bad!”

 

I tried to get away from these ideas, but actually it comes through.

 

Peter Whittle: Following you around.

 

Amy Gallagher: Yes.

 

Peter Whittle: It still beggars belief that this is the NHS, which what appears to be in permanent crisis. And yet it’s becoming more clear, isn’t it, by the day, that it sort of spends a lot of time and possibly money as well, on kind of woke agenda?

 

Amy Gallagher: Yes, very much. So and not just the NHS. We’re seeing these ideas come from the civil service, in primary schools, secondary schools. I mean, there was a recent thing in the news about Westminster University essentially doing racial segregation, in the name of “progress”. This is happening.

 

Peter Whittle: We’ve just done a program, actually, about this, which was Kevin Robinson actually, talking all about indoctrination in school.

 

I know I’ve sort of already alluded to this, but did you get anyone coming, approaching you, reaching out to you, saying:

 

“I’m with you.”

 

Or people in your position who say:

 

“I don’t want to say my name, but I agree with you.”

 

From the NHS? Or where you very much on your own?

 

Amy Gallagher: I was very much on my own with it for the whole of the two years.

 

Peter Whittle: Two years.

 

Amy Gallagher: Since I’ve gone in the press and I’ve set out my crowd fund. I’ve got lots of people contacting me, healthcare professionals, saying:

 

“Well done! Somebody needed to do this.”

 

I’ve had some people who trained with me saying:

 

“Well done, I’m with you.”

 

So I have had some support since, not while I was on the training course itself, but I have had a lot of people now reach out to me and, yeah, give me all sorts of stories about things that have happened to them and similar things.

 

Peter Whittle: So what’s the situation now, then? Can you explain to us what you’re going for exactly, and a sort of timeline, if you’ve got that, Amy?

 

[27:35]

 

Amy Gallagher: Yeah. So I served court documents to them. So what happened after that, they continued to bully me, essentially. After I initiated court proceedings and I got a bit of traction with my crowdfund, one of the lecturers essentially tried to have me struck off as a nurse! So my nursing is separate from my training at the Tavistock, but she accused me of racial harassment. She accused me of making her feel unsafe. She said my Twitter account made her feel unsafe, all sorts of nonsense things.

 

The NMC were quite good, that’s the Nursing and Midwifery Council, they shut that down quite quickly and just said:

 

“Nurses are entitled to disagree with ideas.”

 

Essentially. And then one of the other lecturers gave a speech to the students where she said we were going to meet in person because we were meeting over Zoom. But she’s decided that because of my “hate speech”, we should remain on Zoom for safety reasons. And my hate speech could be managed better over Zoom.

 

And then they essentially suspended me. They told me that I was unsafe to see one of my patients. The reason they gave for that was because I knocked on a door and asked, … There was a loud noise going on and I knocked on the door and asked if the noise could be reduced. And they said:

 

“I’d left the people in the room traumatized by doing that.”

 

Yeah! And they actually told me, this was said to me by the Director of the clinic. She said to me:

 

“Try not to go into the reception area because your physical presence, if someone is to see you, they could be retraumatised by the sight of you.”

 

Peter Whittle: This is tyranny! Isn’t it?

 

Amy Gallagher: It’s tyranny! It’s insane! And they haven’t, … Again, this was said to me verbally. They don’t follow any policies or procedures. They didn’t put it in writing to me. They didn’t follow their suspension conduct procedure. They’re out of control, Peter! They are deranged! They think, the arrogance, they think they’re above institutional procedures. They think they’re above the law.

 

It is like, until you’re in it, you can’t understand what it’s like. I can understand fully how all the gender identity stuff happened now. Now that I’m in it. Because it is like they’ve got their own reality, and they don’t step outside of it. And it’s just the complete inversion of what a psychotherapy training should be.

 

Peter Whittle: Therefore, what are you going to do?

 

Amy Gallagher: What am I going to do? Obviously, I’ve initiated a lawsuit against them. I want this to be as impactful as possible. So I’m still exploring legal options with my legal team. I don’t want to say too much about that. As I said, I want this to be as impactful as possible. I’m essentially going to take them to court for what they’ve done to me. But I also want to take Critical Race Theory to court.

 

There’s been a lot of pushback in America against Critical Race Theory. There’s been some significant lawsuits in America, but not really here. We’ve been having this stuff pushed on to us all the time. White privilege! White Fragility! And we’ve had our politicians say, especially that famous speech by Kemi Badenoch saying, this is illegal. But no one’s put that to the test yet.

 

And actually, if there is a significant legal case, I’m hoping that people will think twice before being so strongly, pushing these ideas so strongly!

 

We’ve seen it with the trans stuff. We’ve had some significant legal cases with [word unclear], Allison Bailey, and now we’re seeing a bit of the tide turning with that. Critical Race Theory hasn’t really had that yet.

 

Peter Whittle: Yes! Exactly. It’s the most embedded, I think, as well, isn’t it?

@Jan Elliot It is prejudice. But racism is prejudice based on racial factors. I can be prejudice against ideas for example or I can be prejudice against mustard or mayo. But prejudice against other humans based on their ethnicity… that is racism. Words overlap with each other and in context it specifies the ‘type’ of prejudice. So racism is prejudice specifically involving race.

I have used the word anti-white to refer to this phenomenon, but I tend to use the term with caution, because it can play into the hands of the wokeists who will try to claim it is a dog whistle of white supremacy. It can be taken as being dismissive of anti-black racism which is still also a real phenomenon. Prejudice is vile no matter who it is directed against.
So I prefer to just call it racism because using their own words against them is far more powerful. If they want to say being against white is not racist, it forces them to explicate the reason, which brings them to the ideology of intersectional privilege, which is easily vapourised by simple and obvious political phenomena: the countries established by white people are the most democratic, free, technologically advanced and have the best living conditions on the planet. Otherwise why do all these “marginalised groups” want to come and live in white countries, if we are such terrible cesspits of racism and bigotry?

@dwan robinson One cannot make up new definitions of words to fit their particular narrative. The definition of the word “racism” has never been about power, tyrants or institutions. This new definition of “racism” came about in the 1970s in American black studies courses when the students pointed out to the instructors that they what they were teaching was racism. As to not fit within the parameters of that definition, the professors attempted to change the definition of the word in order that they wouldn’t fit under that definition and could continue to spew their particular racist hate guilt free.

Racism isn’t just a part of fascism (though it often happens within it, racism also shows itself under liberalism, libertarianism, and communism as well.) it’s a human problem and we’re never going to solve it if we ignore some parts and not others. We’re certainly never going to solve it if we pretend some people are incapable of it or try to redefine it so it only applies to one group or another.
Fascism isn’t laissez-faire in the slightest. It’s an offshoot of socialism and is the result of radicals who believed even Communism didn’t go far enough. Hitler himself considered the nationalization of companies to be a half measure, and decided to socialize the people directly into the state instead. A similar system is being used by China by the way.
“usually understood” by people who are either trying to redefine fascism to mean its opposite, or who also don’t know what it is.
“All within the state, nothing outside the state, nothing against the state” is a core tenant of Fascism, libertarianism and the desire for small government and laissez-faire economics is the polar opposite of that.
Instead of listening to people like Umberto Eco, or Jason Stanley, it would be best to learn what it means from the people who actually invented it. No better way to know your enemy than from their own words.
Carl Benjamin of the Lotus Eaters has put together great works to how to identify and combat fascism, since you cannot really fight something if you don’t even know what it is.

Only Webster’s in the US has included the ‘new’ definition because BLM activists actively rallied them to do so.
The problem with the ‘new’ definition is it is racist in and of itself, so directly contradicts the near universally accepted definition. It assumes/implies only the dominant culture/race has ‘power’. So, despite Barack Obama being the most powerful man in the world, when he was president, he could say as many negative things as he liked about other races and by the ‘new’ definition not be racist.
Intersectionality just provides a framework that allows certain groups to be racist, sexist etc. It’s no coincidence intersectionality was coined by one of the founders of CRT and the founders were racists and black nationalists.
Webster’s also changed the definition of supremacist as well, I think.

As a black man here in the USA, I completely agree with and support Amy. She is an incredible, eloquent, brave and free thinking person. I want to express my admiration for her. I also want to add that this is not a black people vs white people issue. This is clear thinking people of all races including black fighting a destructive ideology. One of the most infuriating things she said is when she said that she was told that black people are victims. I am not a victim and not a single white person owes me anything especially the patronizing and condescending virtue signalling allyship that almost always comes from lefty white liberals. I am not miserable and I don’t need your help. I am making my way through life with all its up and downs just like any person of any other race. And I don’t want my medical professional bringing up BLM or anything like that just because I am black. That has nothing to do with what I would be seeing them for. We are all in this together as the human race. Again, I commend Amy and will indeed be donating to her cause. I wish there were ten thousand more Amys in the world doing what she is doing, but I also fully understand the fear that causes people to remain quiet or go along with this false ideology.

So if you really want to help then rally support from within the black community because you and other black people have far more power to do this than white people do. Bless you for your rational and good heart. No one talks about the heart and compassion which when in possession of, cuts through any kind of prejudice regardless of race or creed. I commend you as a black man for speaking your own truth here. Amy was not asked what her truth was, this was insinuated and the institution traumatised and victimised her. But she will never be a victim nor will she live in a state of trauma. This is evident in her most eloquent interview.

@Jerry O’Shea in my experience there really are lazy people in the NHS and it’s so frustrating. I’ve met fellow immigrants that would just work with bare minimum effort (I won’t mention the race because I’d be heralded as a racist, LOL). On the other hand I’ve worked with Brits who are absolutely amazing, My ward manager is English and she is the best and I love her to bits. To tell you the truth (this is only my vantage point so far in my stay here), the English people I know treat me way better than my fellow immigrants (patients and colleagues).

and beliefs of other cultures. No, I said, we can respect their right to hold these views
but we do not have to respect the beliefs and views
themselves. In fact, we can find them abhorrent and to have no place in a society built on enlightenment values. I’m afraid to say my younger colleagues were horrified at my arguments and others just kept quiet. After such a meeting I had the feeling that all England was lost.

I was a registered nurse for 50 years and I am so utterly delighted to have retired 2 years ago. Caring for people should be completely apolitical.
Things changed dramatically in my last 10 years of service, and this was from young woke indoctrinated students who, quite frankly frightened me. I was made very aware where I stood as a ward sister and the ever present threat of being reported for breathing, or looking at them in the wrong direction.

I went through similar things at Arizona State University. I went back for a BSW and was going for a MSW. I graduated with a BSW, but I quit before getting The masters degree.I am in my 40s. They are indoctrinating kids. As a 40 year old I could see the other students were totally brainwashed. Sad really. I ended up as a case manager after that. The workplace was the same. They are pounding it into peoples brains. I ended up running two businesses with my husband. I wanted to help people, but not to pretend I agreed with that agenda. I plan to use my degree to help youth get into the trades. When you own your own business you don’t have to put up with this nonsense.

The inversion of language by these people annoys me so much. Unless it’s a direct threat you cannot say that words are making you feel unsafe. The word unsafe has a specific meaning and someone writing on Twitter cannot make you feel unsafe unless they are threatening you.

However, I did meet or work with – over the years – some health professionals who had; nurses, clinical psychologists and psychiatrists. The name of the place stuck in my mind throughout my career because all of those who I know who worked there expressed concerns about its politics, its practices and its culture over now some 40 years.

Unduckingbelievable, I used to work at a University up until I was made redundant ,and the last few years were taken up with ever increasing online questoinnaires about all this rubbish, different scenarios etc,etc and they would take hours to complete with a pass rate of 80%. Invariably nobody made that score so would have to go back to the beginning and start the whole thing over again, taking screenshots with our phones of the correct answers that they wanted you to put in case you didnt make the score again and had to do it yet again. Once you attained the score that wasn’t the end of it, there was another 2 or 3 to do. All this time work was piling up and deadlines were getting harder to meet because the managers were mithering you to do this rubbish. Even when we were given 6 months notice of our redundancy it still didn’t cease, and in the end being made redundant seemed like a merciful release.

i experienced very similar kind of woke bs in the college courses i took in the last few years. blm, rape culture, the bastardization of the definition for racism and the singling out of specifically men, whites, and christians as somehow being inherently wrong/evil in some way as the starting point in any conversation or debate was frustrating beyond expression. i dropped out a little over 2 years into a 4 year degree because i was tired of being told what i must think when i was only interested in being presenting with the information i needed to know to master a given field. i was a 4.0 student, and lost all interest in the so called higher learning facilities. i simply think of them as propaganda centers masquerading as institutes of learning.
i since spent an exorbitant amount of time simply watching college lectures and other informational videos on youtube. the information age is here. why would you need a piece of paper to tell others how you have some base line level of knowledge when you can simply educate yourself at a significantly faster rate by working at your own speed?
ps: i should probably add that as a veteran i was literally paid to go to college, and incurred no expense from doing so. even then i choose to forgo the income and “free” learning in exchange for doing it myself. think of that what you will.

The NHS has been broken for decades. I used to work for them, their managers (failed nurses) bullied the ward nurses beyond belief and I saw virtually every nurse cry as a result. I was so disgusted that I handed my notice in and told them exactly what I thought of them and strongly suggested they get management training if they valued their careers. One of the bullies cried like a baby and I was told I didn’t need to work my notice and could go immediately on full pay (I couldn’t wait to get out of that place). This racist issue doesn’t surprise me as their management are as thick as two short planks. These are the miseries in charge of your care, THIS is what you’re forced to pay for!

I am a counselor who experienced something very similar in my program. I didn’t end up with any kind of disciplinary action since I went to a university in the southern US, but it was still bad. I was basically the only student who would ever challenge any of the racist ideas that the other woke students and professors pushed. I now work at that university and those kinds of reading materials are continuously pushed on us. I had to read an article last month about how any mysoginy and homophobia in the Hispanic community are the result of “whiteness.”

At a hospital in Northern Ireland, they spent 100.000 pounds on a bronze sculpture “celebrating diversity” – which looks like a gigantic pair of bollocks. No cafe in the new wing, not even a vending machine. Patients and visitors have to travel 10 minutes in lifts and along corridors to another wing to get a drink or a snack. While the bronze bollocks occupy a space perfect for a small cafe or self-service rest area. Oh, and my mother lay for 72 hours in A&E awaiting treatment, on a gurny in a corridor for 24 of those hours – no drink, snack, no toileting, and freezing. Fortunately I was there with her to see to her needs. I think the nurses must have been busy producing the “Healthy Eating Guidelines For Seniors” bullshit that adorned the walls!

My brother is a senior engineer at a nuclear powerstation. They all had to attend a “training day” by their HR dept. This turned out to be something similar to what this wonderful young woman is rightly concerned about. They all walked out as soon as the rubbish became apparent. They then we’re targeted to complete a course on line, and this was given the same short shrift. How have these few loonies come to be wagging the dog. As a psychotherapist myself, I also experienced very similar issues in my program. This was at least 4 years ago and it has continued throughout mental health organizations, conferences, etc. The ideology goes against every principle we have as clinicians to be fair, accept all different viewpoints and be respectful of various backgrounds. I have never felt more ashamed for being a “white person” or European than I did in those courses when questioning the data, research and findings.

They refused him permission to go into third year because his biology professor said that she could not teach someone who on numerous occasions had refused to admit that men could have babies. So this is what the NHS is doing rather than concentrating on providing actual healthcare. In my local GP practice (in a small village) it now takes at keast 10 days to get an appointment and that is only in the form of a phone call from the doctor. I trained as a humanistic psychotherapist in the noughties. I trained with a disparate group of people and so there was a good deal of conflict between the trainees. In 1989 my dad gave me a cassette tape of Bob Dylans’s new album ‘Oh Mercy’…
…I’d grown up listening to Dylans’s oevre vicariously – whilst also scratching many of dad’s vinyls during infantile play; as a teen, I was still too naive to understand the meaning behind most of the songs, but the track ‘Political World’ struck a chord nonetheless.
There was no Internet in 1989, I’d not seen Pennebaker’s famed 60’s film yet, and Scorcese’s ‘No Direction Home’ was over a decade away. To me then, Dylan remained something of an enigma.
On the surface of it, the refrain “We live in a political world” seemed like a gross simplification, but with the benefit of three and half decades of xp, the interpretation I was unable to derive as a teen becomes crystal clear to me.
Today, there is nothing about human coexistence that is not informed by politics…identity politics, sexual politics, office politics, macro and exo-politics – the politics of dancing.
Nonetheless, we still tend to equate politics adversely to human behaviour, inasmuch as that word denotes machination or skulduggery…but although the Greeks may have coined the etymology, they did not invent politics – because you cannot invent something which is intrinsicly present, you can only discover it.
Those classical Greek logicians and philosophers, starting with Socrates and his understudy Plato, understood that reasoning and ethics may be set apart from theology, but it took Charles Darwin and then modern philosophers to interpret and appreciate the innate transactional basis for each and every sapien interaction.
If politics then, defines our accedence to interact with one another, it must mean that even LOVE itself, as the ultimate human transactional expression, must be fundamentally political in nature.
Now I finally understand what Robert Zimmerman meant.

I went through a very similar situation after complaining of sexual harassment and other unprofessional conduct at work from an White, non Heterosexual colleague.
The closing of ranks extended through two NHS LHB’s, the RCN, UNITE, an NMC disciplinary panel member, my political representatives etc etc.
The NHS is a social engineering tool. Period.
Clinicians often speak out about NHS cuts, Stonewall, Common Purpose, Momentum and such “change agents” appear to be very quiet on the topic, despite heavily infiltrating the NHS.

I am a retired UK social worker of 45 years. I attended a course called skills of managing people run by an outside consultant and several members of the local authority training department around 30 years ago. He acted like a cult leader and the trainers acted like his acolytes.
There was an absence rational content. The message was basically if you were white you were racist. The course consisted of trying to psychologically deconstruct the course members to accept their white guilt and separate black and white members from each other. It was basically brain washing with fear backed up by departmental management. To be fair my department eventually stopped using them but they continued to ply their trade and the damage was done and set the tone for the general approach to the issue of racism.
It was very scary and most attendees capitulated, became stressed and mentally destabilised and there was barely any resistance. I was scared but passively resisted and was described by the the cult leader as ‘subversive to the aims of the course’. I took this as a compliment. This was my first experience but not my last. Many others faced the same process over the years and suffered abuse. It has been going on for a long time and we need to claim back rationality from these abusers and manipulators. They have been abusing people for years now. Well done Amy. Let’s rid this behaviour from our institutions. They are bullies.

Watching this video is the first time I have heard of this case. If what Amy describes is true, then I absolutely support her endeavor. (Just to be clear, I am not doubting anything she has said, but after all, I have only heard her side of the story.)
I also work in the NHS as a doctor, and to date, have worked in seven different NHS trusts. In my experience, there has never been any training where race or religion has been part of the theme. Given the other publicity that the Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust has received, I don’t find Amy’s experience entirely surprising, but this definitely isn’t representative of the NHS as a whole.

This problem is now growing and spreading like a ‘ wildfire ‘…..I recently missed out on a job within the N.H.S. by ONE POINT on their point’s based scoring system. The Vacancy stipulated that they ‘ Welcomed more applicants from the under represented Black and Ethnic Minority community ‘. On interview day….. I was the only White person present. I guess the ‘ under represented ‘ candidate who was successful ….. interviewed won out by that one point. That being they ticked a box based on their ethnicity. NOT on ability !!!! Myself……White, Male, Catholic….extremely well qualified, experienced ….all counted for nothing. Wonder what that one point was ??? Can you imagine a job advert saying ‘ we don’t have enough indigenous white people applying for our vacancy… we’d welcome more applicants from this demographic applying for our role ‘ ????? It would be called out as racist in a blink of an eye !!!!

There a simple starting point for remedying this.
Fire every single person involved in the persecution and racism against her. Sue them for defamation resulting in loss of earnings, and bankrupt them as a result.
Shut down the entire NHS trust involved. Ban anyone involved in creating or approving these grossly bigoted policies from ever working in the public sector again. Bring serious professional misconduct charges against them with their professional bodies and prevent them from practising in their chosen professions ever again. If the professional body won’t behave appropriately move on to dismantling the professional body concerned and end any regulatory role it may have.
The level of crime involved and the level of infestation of the bodies concerned makes this appropriate and proportionate action to take.

My employer went down the route of inclusion and diversity but thought nothing about using open and blatant discrimination to achieve it. They also had a policy of “see it say it” but didn’t take kindly to me pointing out their inequality, bias and discrimination. They openly supported and funded BLM and again didn’t take kindly to me pointing out that BLM is a Marxist organisation that seeks to defunds the police and couldn’t account for what they’d done with the money they’d raised. I also pointed out that BLM infers that ONLY black lives matter and that this is racist as I believe that ALL lives matter. They told me that my position was racist. Needless to say I no longer work for them, but this is another tool they use to reduce the numbers of what they see as the wrong type of people. My former employer even had targets linked to monitory bonuses to increase the numbers of ethnic minorities and women whilst at the same time reducing the overall headcount. In other words an incentive to reduce the numbers of white men.
I got to the point whereby every “discussion” I had with them I recorded on my phone just in case it came down to them saying something I didn’t. They even told me my e-mails had the wrong “tone”, which I think meant they didn’t like the content but is to bat off as I just told them they’d never trained me on that aspect of my work. They do all this to be “more representative of those they serve” but again didn’t like it when I pointed out they didn’t represent me, or millions like me.

I quit working in the UK state education system in 2009 because of ideological incompatibility. I had, towards the end of my quantifiably impactful career, received a memo I instructing me that I was not allowed to vote for a particular political party that was standing in an upcoming election. I didn’t intend to vote for them, as I was probably best described as centre left at this time. However, I felt that this was way beyond the scope of my employer, and it appears that a Kafkaesque direction has continued amongst the establishment since then. I’ve found Christ since then and give thanks to my God that I have been removed from the belly of the beast. I continue to pray for those persecuted by satan and his legions.

Lets suppose we have a racist white Christian man who hears these messages. In what way being told everything about them is evil will make them less racist or more compassionate. They are practically being told to love the ones to torment them (or at least they might see it that way). Its really mind boggling that often people think these days that having the right political view magically makes you into a more excepting, more understanding, and more moral person. We are living in a facist ideology. I’m 44 grew up in the inner city, I was the minority in being white at my school. Our generation followed the teachings of MLK and we all got along great aside from childish growing pains. I find the teachings of critical race theory to just be black supremacy thinly veiled. Racism is wrong. Every single race can be racist and we all as humans are prejudiced to some degree. I now have kids in their 20s calling me a racist, a bigot and a colonialist because I am white and British. These are mainly white middle class young peopled Tom North America, who incredibly do not see their hypocrisy. I simple ask them for proof of their inclusive attitude by showing pictures of theirs friends, family, children, partners. They cannot because they do not live in an inclusive world and they go very quiet after I provide picture after picture of my multi cultural/ multi racial life. Tik tok is spreading this vile ideology and black supremacy is glorified and rewarded on the platform. FYI when I ask the racist white kids how they know about oppression they say “the internet”. Tik tok is a massive problem and a massive propaganda tool. In my opinion our politicians need to be looking very closely at TT given it is Chinese owned because since 2016 it has done a wonderful job of undermining our societal values. I complained to Student Services about Britain bashing in the student newspaper and from a student in each of two classes that I attended for the first time at a University in Abbotsford, BC. He told one of the professors behind my back, as I expected, and now he is targetting me. Now I want to leave because a sign was placed on one of the main doors of the University that the washrooms welcome trans people. Who does something so crass? The scary thing about this view is that the majority of the UK are white. If you believe everybody who is “Anglo”/white is racist, then how can you provide proper care? I worked with a UK council (as a consultant) who after achieving all numerical diversity targets, decided that more work was to be done and it was then to become representative of the local area (one of the most “diverse” cities in the UK and one of the largest councils in Europe). The latter has been achieved but I’ve heard council workers say that the council needs to become “better”. This is code for the reduction of white colleagues which is even exuded by white council workers to appear onside. No one quite knows who actually sets the rules or ideas. Even though I never questioned the workers directly I would ask certain individuals where the idea for XYZ (often to do with council performance) came from. The answer is always somebody higher said it but they can never name who was accountable for it. This is the problem, no one knows which individuals or senior executives are pushing it down. If you could name them there’d be pushback.

It’s not just the NHS, the Civil Service is just as bad. Every application you make for any job is permeated with woke, diversity and inclusion propoganda. Really, what woke is really all about is the erasure of facts and logic – to make sense of the world and form universally applied reasoning to form judgements to arrive at the same or different conclusions, depending on different perspectives and evidences. Those days belong in the past.
When I was invited to two interviews recently for a CS job, I was blindsided by acts of irrationality which went beyond a simple mistake. For one application – as stated on the application Job Description – candidates were specifically told what the interview would comprise, and then it didn’t go that way at all with different questions to the ones we were led to expect. On another, it did go to plan – as stated on the job description – but the answers I gave in the interview – to predicted questions this time – still resulted in failure with poor performance outcomes even though the answers I gave were identical in substance and detail to the answers I gave on the application form itself that provided me access to the Assessment centre in the first place. There was no directive to not use the same examples, either. In fact, we were encouraged to use the same examples.
So I am left wondering what went wrong. When I apply logic to the problems I encountered there is none applied. Make sense of that. You can’t. On my applications under demographics for equal ops, I stated that I was female, white and Christian. I wonder if this played a part in my failure to be offered either job, irrespective of my background experience and knowledge of the field I was applying for. Yet others, with no experience at all, were offered places.
Believe me when I say that this is what is going on. The race, gender, climate change elements provide a very useful and superficial front to what is essentially going on under the surface: the formation of dictatorial ways of leading and control, by using the erasure of logic and of facts to gain influence and prominance. Now every reality is subjective, depending on who is saying it and who believe’s it. There is no such thing as right and wrong objectively.
Welcome to 2+2 = 5. Correct, if someone influential says it is. Wrong if the wrong person says it is.
Woke is essentially about culture being redrawn to fit a new Marxist cultural ideology based on a complete annhilation of our history and cultural norms and traditions, w hich are being systematically traduced and replaced by this woke nonsense, which is largely being led and encouraged by the mainly white middle class professionals and left leaning academics who are not subject to the rules they are applying to everyone else. We are not among the richest in the country. But we are stereotyped. As the human brain (via our sensory receptors) is subject to innumerable external stimuli at any given moment, and equally, internal biochemical variances that are ephemeral in nature, any useful, accurate scientific analyses is presently beyond the capability of clinical medical research.
Psychology then, is certainly not the scientific study of the behaviour of the human brain, but instead it is mostly concerned with case study profiling techniques, whereby a history of clinical observation alone is utilised to determine a range of potential behaviours (responses) across a spectrum that is neither scientifically (mathematically) uniform, nor measurable against any control that could be described as empirically stable (since none exists).
In any regular walk of life, similar practices would be regarded as simple guesswork (educated or otherwise), yet – somehow – the pseudo-science of psychology has successfully managed to pervade wholesale just about every single nook and niche of our everyday lives, and this has all happened in a relatively short space of time.
If one considers the overall absence of much overt, concentrated pushback or resistance, it’s almost as if this cultural phenomenon has somehow been assimilated subliminally into the structural instruments of our daily routines (unwittingly perhaps), whilst we are mutually distracted by the white noise of our common technophilia.
Somehow also, we have, as a society, remained mostly oblivious to the inherent dangers of our complete dependance on these dubious practices. Not only do we decide who to medically section (detain) or criminally convict and hold in our penal systems based upon such thinking, but just about everything in our modern lives now utilises some type of profiling algorithm, be it credit companies or any type of direct online marketing.
The impact of this relatively swift change in our culture is of huge magnitude – and not just for the predictable crests and waves, peaks and troughs of our passage through the complex eddies and ripples of expanding spacetime.

For God’s sake, just check the origin of the word “hospital” and see who historically took care of the poor, the strangers, and the people that nobody wanted around. Monasteries and churches were the first healthcare centers and Jesus mandated to take care of the sick, independently of who they were and he fostered charity. I hope she wins on the basis of her skin colour, that is racism and it should not be tolerated in any of its forms. The main problem is there are no consistent standards across the board, there are so many double standards. I am a staunch defender of freedom of choice to believe in what you want, but it should never be at the intentional harm of others. As an American I have always wished for national health care because most of us are one serious illness away from bankruptcy. Hearing what’s going on with your police and NHS though has made me think about what can happen when an ideology takes over these services.

If one asks out of politeness to an overseas nurse or doctor “Where are you from” there is a smile and charming answer from the person questioned, but an odd accusation from the nurses listening. A few years ago I trained to be a care worker. Much the same story back then, the book I had to learn from was 2 thirds about diversity ( and why it’s good) and inclusion. I myself was born in the slums of Woolwich South London in 1954. Like many families we worked long hard hours for 40-50+ years to get out of it. As for false conciousness — Marx was not concerned with psychotherapy. False conciousness is a purely philosophical/political concept. Since the left has by and large succumbed to postmodernism I understand why many people refuse to even listen to the tiny minority of leftists that is rejecting wokeness, CRT, gender ideology in other words identity politics. Sorry but I don’t believe that this woman is actually understanding the exercise and does not possess the sensitivity to be able to navigate the survival of the NHS under the leadership of a Conservative Health Secretary. I am autistic and decided to leave UCL hospital as a Ward Porter after concerns for my physical fitness began to interfere with my ability to do the job. I had a verbal argument with a more experienced black porter about my condition & was then asked to resign by management. The company was called Interserve & all employees must become members of the NHS union in order to protect themselves from mismanagement by private companies.
