Monika Schaefer: Good evening. Good day. You are listening to The Flip Side with Monika, episode three on the Republic Broadcasting Network. I am your host, Monika Schaefer. It is July 13, 2024.

I am very much looking forward to having a guest this evening. And he is a fellow Canadian. He has been in the trenches, you could say, for years. Actually, for decades. He was aware of really, the big picture of what is going on in this world long before I was! I think I was still playing in the sandbox [chuckling] when he was starting to tell the truth and do some things that got him into some hot water! And I’ll get him to tell his story.

But first, I’m going to just tell you about the summer fundraiser that the RBN is having. The Republic Broadcasting Network. Now, to introduce my guest this evening, I’ve mentioned he’s a Canadian and he’s been at this for a long time. Paul Fromm is my guest, and I’m so happy to welcome him.

And just before I get him to say hello, I would just like to tell you that when I was first in the “hot seat”, you can say after I did my video [Sorry Mom, I was Wrong About the Holocaust] and I was starting to endure the wrath of the people in my own community as well as further afield, one of the first things that I was smeared by association, I was smeared by association for I had associated with this man, Paul Fromm! [chuckling] I think it’s quite funny now. I mean, it’s comical!

Unfortunately, we tend to be very much a herd creature, our people in general. We like to be part of the group, the group mentality. It seems to be very important to us in general to be accepted by our group.

Now, that is fine if we’re not infiltrated by an enemy. But it is really a hindrance for us when we have an enemy that moves among us, hiding themselves and doing their business by stealth and lies and deception and tricking us into believing that they are part of our group and they are not!

And I’m just going to give one little story about how powerful that “by association” thing is. And Paul knows all of these characters that I’m going to talk about. He knows them well.

When Arthur Topham was facing the Inquisition and for speech that our enemy does not like, I was putting out the word on social media, Facebook and whatnot, I was saying:

“You’ve got to support this man. It’s about free speech. And even if you don’t agree with everything that he says, it’s really a fight for all of us. Because if he loses this battle, then we all lose!”

Because really think of it as a battle for free speech. Well, then one of my good friends at the time, who I played lots of music with, and he was a very intelligent man. He was a chief forester. So he really was very competent man. But he comes back to me with this. He says:

“Well, I’ve checked out Arthur Topham’s website.”

The radicalpress.com, that he had at the time. And I guess the most recent article there was, he did a very complimentary piece, like an obituary, you could say, for Douglas Christie, who had just died recently at that time. And Douglas, and my friend says:

“Douglas Christie, he defended Ernst Zundel! And now Arthur is writing good things about Douglas Christie! So, no, I’m not going to support this man. Sorry, Monika. No. Done! I’m not!”

So this was like a third degree of association, really. Third degree of association. So a lawyer defends Ernst Zundel. Ernst Zundel, in this man’s eyes, was bad. And then Arthur writes something nice about Doug Christie after Doug Christie dies. And this man, this former friend of mine, does not want to support the court case, or he doesn’t want to support this man, who is really in a big fight. And I was saying:

“You know, listen, support free speech for this.”

So there you go, by association.

So this similar thing happened with me. People were writing things in the local paper in Jasper:

“Oh, she associates with Paul Fromm!”

Talking about me. So in this upside down world, Paul, I would take that as a great compliment.

Now, of course, it’s when we’re still in that world, it just seems, you know, hurtful and whatnot for both you and me. But really, we should both take it as a compliment.

So welcome to The Flip Side with Monika, Paul Fromm! Hello? Are you there? Okay, Paul, do you want to unmute? Perhaps you’re muted now. I see a mute button on Paul’s, …

Hello? Paul? Hmm. Okay. We might have to just maybe figure that out, and I’ll carry on. And then as soon as Paul can get through, I would sure appreciate it if he could let us know. [chuckling]

Well, I’m going to get Paul to tell his story, because he had his own trials and tribulations. He used to be a teacher, I believe, math and English. I might be wrong on that. I’ll have to get him to tell us. But he did upset a certain group of people. That same group of people who is that we’re always up against, the ones we’re not allowed to criticize, lest we be called “anti-semitic”. It’s always them. They’re the ones who are responsible for having put my brother and myself in jail for saying certain things that disagreed with their narrative of World War Two, history, the so-called jewish Holocaust.

Anyway, I’m not exactly sure what it was that Paul was saying at the time, but he was fired from his job. I do know that. And so since then, he’s been hard at work. He’s got several organizations under his name, the CAFE, which is the Canadian Association for Free Expression and C-FAR, I think.

Okay, I’m not getting a clear signal. Are you getting something there?

Paul Fromm: I can hear you.

Monika Schaefer: There you go. You are there. Good! Okay, Paul, would you like to tell a little bit your story?

Paul Fromm: Oh, okay.

Monika Schaefer: I don’t know if you could hear me. Could you hear me?

Paul Fromm: Yeah, I can hear. I heard everything.

Monika Schaefer: Okay, good. So why don’t you carry on and fill in the blanks there. I was just starting to get into it.

Paul Fromm: Okay. Well, I’ve been a long time activist and freedom and patriotic causes going back to about 1965. And I, without going into my whole history, I have to say, and I do this by way of introduction. Well, I have two big issues, free speech and immigration. Not enough free speech and too much immigration!

And that’s what I’ve been pursuing for the better part of five decades. I was very sympathetic to you when you got into all this trouble. And it’s typical of the tactics of our enemy.

And immediately, one of the things that Doug Christie used to say about these so-called “hate charges”. That there’s a process. And it’s defamation, isolate, criminalize! So first of all, the media and others usually egged on by the usual suspects defame you. There are hysterical articles about how horrible you are and so on.

And then the next thing, the goal of that, among other things, is to isolate you. And exactly, exactly what you’re describing happened to you:

“Oh, I won’t help Arthur Topham because you said something nice about Paul Fromm. Or you associated with Paul Fromm.”

And so eventually, [words unclear] your supporters, because your friends or supporters are all intimidated and scared. Now that does not always work, but it’s what’s in place.

So in my own case, I’ve been an activist for a good number of years. I’ve been an English instructor in Peel County for 25 years. And I had a former Director of Education called me an “exemplary teacher”. So there’s never any problem with my teaching. And I kept my politics out of the classroom. I taught English, and I had fairly high standards. And I know I was appreciated because I was regularly called to do night school or summer school. So teachers who are not very good or real screw up, don’t get the invitation. I did. So, yeah, I was a successful professional.

And then in 1991, I went to a meeting of the Dramas [sp] Committee on community and racial relations. And at that meeting, there was a native Indian who was promoting, who was demanding more and more repression, that fascist groups should not be allowed to use facilities for meetings and so on and so on.

And he listed a number of things and then he said, and other measures. So I piped up [words unclear]

Now, I thought that was very funny. And many other people did, when I told the story over the years. What I was saying was:

“How far would you go? Just start [words unclear] free speech.”

Well, anyway, their meeting went nuts, …

Monika Schaefer: Paul, excuse me, can you just repeat what you typed up? Because your connection is not super clear. Not in my ear, anyway. And I just missed. What did you type up that sent them into a fit?

Paul Fromm: Well, no, I didn’t type up. I piped up. I heckled up.

Monika Schaefer: You piped up! I’m sorry. [chuckling] Okay.

Paul Fromm: And I said:

“Scalp them!”

You know, like how far? He was saying, “and other measures”.

And I said:

“Scalp them?”

Question mark. Like:

“How far would you go?”

Anyway, this was quite upsetting.

Monika Schaefer: Yeah.

Paul Fromm: And so I was thrown out of the meeting. And the next day, the Canadian jewish Congress and others started demanding my Board of Education fire me!

Notice there’s nothing I did in the classroom or said in the classroom. On my own time, on my own dime, I made a comment.

Okay, well, this was fought over and finally the Board of Education decided to give me a reprimand that:

“I shouldn’t say things like that and I shouldn’t do it again.”

I never agreed with that. I thought I was on my own time, you know?

Anyway, so by now, though, the dark forces were really gunning for me. So they came across a film about 18 months later that I had of a meeting I’d attended in December of 1990. And it was for the Nationalist Heritage Front, and I had given a speech about freedom of speech.

Anyway, they alleged that somewhere in the corner of the room there was a swastika.

Now, I didn’t put it there, I didn’t waive it and so on, but I gained guilt by association. So now they were really after me! And the Board of Education was so flummoxed that they called upon the Minister of Education to do something, because the Minister of Education had the power in those days to take away your teaching certificate.

Monika Schaefer: You know, Paul, just to pause there, I find that interesting. Oh, somewhere in the room they found a swastika, and you mentioned you didn’t put it there.

Now, aside from the fact that the swastika is, it’s been demonized, and that’s just a really false thing because swastika has always represented something good. But just aside from that, probably it was provocateur that did that, because that’s how they operate. They want to get you, so they’ll do some action that’s like it’s a provocation. And they do it themselves. Like those who want to take you out, probably did that.

But anyway, carry on with your story.

Paul Fromm: Well, that’s possible. So they asked the Minister of Education to take away my teaching certificate.

Now, the Minister of Education at the time was an NDP’er [sp], but he didn’t! He investigated the case.

And apparently there were censorship groups that burst into his office cursing him and swearing and carrying on because he wouldn’t take it away.

Anyway, so what he did was he set up a special committee, sorry, special inquiry under an NDP lawyer who is going to look into me and my case. So that inquiry, which was supposed to be over in a month, ended up extending about, if I recall correctly, about seven months. And they heard from various lobby groups, they heard from a few students, they heard from a few teachers.

And I actually did have some support from a number of other teachers. One who was, I think, an NDP’er. And she said:

“Well, I don’t agree with Paul, but he’s always been a good teacher and he’s never brought his views into the classroom.”

And several others said the same thing.

And I was at that time the most investigated teacher ever in the province of Ontario!

Now I hadn’t molested students or stolen the coffee fund or anything like that! I had expressed my own views on my own time, off school property.

Okay, the inquiry, it was a complicated finding, but it said:

“Well, his remarks didn’t go far enough for him to be fired under the present legislation, but he should be. The legislation should be changed and then he could be fired and then, …”

Anyway, so the board of education didn’t know what to do with me, so they decided they would put me into adult education. And many people said that was the punishment because I would now have to deal with a lot of non-Whites. Well, it wasn’t a punishment! I mean, I didn’t see it as such.

The adults were very motivated to learn. They’d come back to school as adults and they came back because they wanted to get their high school diploma and they wanted to learn! Whereas many of the adolescents, I mean, some of the adolescents didn’t want to learn. They’re going through a rebellious stage and they hate adults. They hate everybody! So I had virtually no trouble with any of the adults, even though over 50% of them were non-White. And I’m supposed to have been made so angry by that. I wasn’t. Things went well.

But finally, we now skip ahead to 1997. So they’ve been after me for six years.

Finally, in 1997, the board voted to fire me. And that’s because the Supreme Court had heard the Malcolm Ross case. He was a teacher in New Brunswick and he had written a number of books, one against abortion, one against the jewish lobby, and so on. Again, on his own time, on his own dime, off school property.

And it was alleged in the human rights theory that he created a “poisoned environment”. And we would hear that more and more:

“Your very existence on this earth creates a poisoned environment!”

And you probably heard that, Monika, in Jasper. Your very being alive, poisons things!

Monika Schaefer: Oh, yes. Oh, yes. This is so interesting, Paul. Yeah. The poisoned environment and the fact that they had to make special, you know, different laws. I mean, it reminded me of Robert Faurisson. For whom they made a special law in France, just for him! It’s just really amazing how they pursued you. And they really had a hard time to fire you because you did your job very well! [chuckling]

You’re the kind of guy they don’t like at all because you’re intelligent, you do your job well, you’re conscientious, but somehow they have to get rid of you because you’re too wise to the situation and you’re seeing things way in advance of most of us, I have to say. Like way before, most of us have seen really what was wrong with this mass immigration and mass immigration from third world countries and whatnot. That it would change the very fabric of our nations. And look at where we are at now! My goodness! And you were really ahead of the of the curveball there on that. But please carry on.

Paul Fromm: Unfortunately, those were the old days and there have been enough cases since then, not just in education, that we have a new form of slavery. Your employer owns you 24 hours a day! It used to be your employer was entitled to seven or 8 hours a day of your work and diligence. And what you did on your own time was your business in more. In many cases now, that’s no longer the situation.

Anyway, so I hired Doug Christie. We had a couple meetings with the Board. And he put up a fantastic fight! And I was supposed to be fired in a week. And we dragged it out for seven weeks.

And finally my union leader said, and the union was backing me at this stage. He said:

“Boy, your lawyer has made some great speeches. He is really powerful! But you’re going to lose.”

I said:

“What do you mean? You just said, I’ve got a great lawyer.”

He says:

“Well, I’ll tell you what. You’re going to lose, because the day they fire you (sorry), the day after they fire you, the phone calls stop!”

Monika Schaefer: The phone calls. What? Sorry?

Paul Fromm: The phone calls stop!

Monika Schaefer: Oh!

Paul Fromm: The pressure. And so in other words, …

Monika Schaefer: The board was getting probably many, many phone calls. And I wouldn’t doubt that there was a big organized lobby that was making these phone calls happen. And I just would venture to say that it was very likely the jewish lobby. They are very organized. That’s just., …

Paul Fromm: It was them!

Anyway, in January of 1997, I was fired!

Now, I’ve had a 25 year career. I had a wife and two small children. That didn’t matter. I was out on my rear end! I applied for unemployment insurance and was turned down because I was “fired for cause”. Well, I said:

“We are in the process of, the union and I, are in the process of aggrieving the firing!”

It didn’t matter.

So we went to the Court of Appeal, and I had a good lawyer, Barbara Kulaszka, or the late Barbara Kulaszka. The government’s Lawyer was an oriental woman. And the judge, I swear, was drunk! And he mocked both lawyers, and in the end, ruled against me.

So I’m unemployed, and although we’re appealing the firing, I have no income. The appeal, nothing goes quickly in Canadian justice. Took about a year and a half, and I lost on a two to one vote by the Arbitration Board. And I did various things to earn a living. And I got back into education with a different board as a substitute teacher. And this would be about seven or eight years later.

And then the Teachers Federation, under complaints, after complaints of the (((usual suspects))), the Teachers Federation, decided they would try to take away my teaching license. So without a teaching license you can’t teach in Ontario. And after a big fight, they did! They voted. They said that I had “consorted”. That was the term, “consorted with disreputable people”, one of them being Representative Dr David Duke. I had been at conferences in the United States, again, all my own time, off school property. And I had “bad friends”, or, I mean “bad acquaintances”. Pretty much what was being said about you and Arthur Topham. You knew bad people, so therefore you’re no good and you deserve no help!

And so that ended my teaching career.

And I had to look for other employment. And it’s a pretty ruthless world! And I learned a lot about human nature.

Monika Schaefer: No doubt! No doubt you did, Paul, as did I. This isolation tactic, and you perfectly said it earlier, that first the defamation and the isolation and then the criminalization!

Paul Fromm: Yeah. Now, because once you’re isolated, it’s easier to take you to court. You’ve got no friends, presumably now, no money, except your own, if you have any. And you know, you’re the ideal victim.

Monika Schaefer: Okay, I think we’ll like to welcome you back to The Flipside with Monika and our guest, Paul Fromm. Now, Paul, you were just going to tell us a story about your association or what they perceived as your association with the KKK. Why don’t you tell us what you had in mind there.

Paul Fromm: A radical Leftist author at the time dealt with the so-called Right in Canada and did a profile on me. And she called me a sort of a Fred McMurray character. You know, shirt and tie, gentle spoken, button down, and a good teacher. Okay.

But when it came time for my, … When they were trying to take away my teaching certificate, one of the allegations by one of my former department heads was:

“Well, the rumor was I was a member of the Ku Klux Klan.”

And so when I had her on the witness stand, I said:

“Well, okay. Would that concern you?”

She said:

“Well, yes.”

I said:

“Well, where did you get the information?”

“Well, it was sort of general knowledge.”

I said:

“Come on, you’re university educated. You know the scientific method. I mean, you have to prove things. Well, what was the proof?”

“Oh, well, it was generally known.”

And I said:

“Okay, you thought that was the case. And you saw me every day in the English department office. Why didn’t you ever ask me? I mean, ‘is it true you’re a member of the Klan?’.”

“Oh, well, people were afraid of you.”

I said:

“Why was that? Did I ever threaten you?”

“No.”

“Did I ever threaten anybody else around the school?”

“Well, no.”

“Did I threaten the students?”

“Well, no.”

“So I said, nobody ever threatened you had this concern or belief, but you never asked me!”

Monika Schaefer: Isn’t that something!

Paul Fromm: And I thought:

“Honest to God, these people are disgusting!”

You know?

Monika Schaefer: Well, that’s, … I mean, I could think of many examples of similar stories like that wherever they could have just asked a simple question. Like the judge in Germany at one of my bail hearings, when afterwards, the justification for keeping me in jail was longer than our meeting itself, or it took longer to read it than the meeting took itself. And there were some ridiculous assumptions they made that I thought:

“Well, they could have just asked me that!”

But they didn’t. They just have their preconceived agenda, or their notion. And besides which, I’ll just say this, Paul, about the KKK. It’s another one of those things that, my goodness, have we ever been lied to about that whole organization! Not that I want to get into that now. I would be going down a whole another rabbit trail for our hour now.

But it’s just another one of those things that we’ve been really, really deceived about the nature of that organization and the history and whatnot, and what they did and what it was about.

So, yeah, just to put that. But there you go. They didn’t even ask you if you were part of it, but they just assumed you were. And that’s it. Verdict is made, and then, …

Paul Fromm: The fix was in. I was never going to win that hearing anyway, but I certainly landed a lot of, … Messed these witnesses up pretty well. And even through the help of Dave Lindsay, who is a sort of he doesn’t like being called a paralegal, because legally he’s not. But he probably knows more about the law than most lawyers anyway.

Monika Schaefer: Yes.

Paul Fromm: I was told at one point it would cost., … The hearing was supposed to go on for about 20 some days, and it would cost about $1,000 a day for the transcript. And there’s no way I could afford it. By this time, the union was no longer supporting me. So my entire defense was out of my own pocket.

Well, Dave said:

“We will challenge that before the committee on the basis that the Magna Carta says that ‘justice shall not be bought or sold’.”

And we knocked them on their rear ends with that argument!:

“Look, if I’m not allowed to have the transcript, if I have to pay for it and I can’t afford it, justice is being denied to me!”

Well, that absolutely flummoxed them! And in the end, I got my transcript free!

So we won a few. Maybe I didn’t win the main battle, but it was a great fight. Oh, yes!

And at one of the sessions, two members of the jewish Defense League [JDL, not the ADL, but similar], they were picketing the hearing that day. I mean, God knows why! They wanted me gone. But okay, that’s what the hearing was about.

So the two members jumped into this elevator as I got in and they tried to attack me! And two metro police were in the elevator. They did it right in front of the cops and the cops restrained them, so they never landed the blow on me. And yeah, yeah, it was, as they said back in those days, a hairy time!

Monika Schaefer: Oh, my goodness! Yeah.

And so, okay, so thanks for telling us about your story. Basically, I’m sure there, we could talk for hours about it and we still wouldn’t have heard all the interesting details about it.

But then, you know what I find so admirable is then what you’ve been doing for the last several decades with the Canadian Association for Free Expression and with C-FAR. What does C-FAR stand for?

Paul Fromm: It stands for Citizens for Foreign Aid Reform. But our major endeavor is publishing the Canadian Immigration Hotline. Our major issue is [word unclear] immigration.

Monika Schaefer: Right. And then you’ve also assisted and been involved, I think, to some degree or other, with many speech crime trials in Canada. And Arthur Tophams, that’s where I first met you face to face. And I know you were involved in many others. And there are current political prisoners. The two that come to my mind, and there might be more, but I’m not sure right now. But Leslie Bory, who is in prison in Ontario, and it’s probably the worst prison in Canada, it sounds like the conditions are just horrendous!

And then there’s Brad Love in northern Alberta. And he’s going to come out of, and yeah, … I hear some music, but it’s for a different show there! [chuckling] Okay. That’s it! It’s taken care of thanks.

Yeah, so we could talk a little bit about both of them. I had thought about reading excerpts, but I probably should dedicate a whole show to reading some excerpts out of their letters. I’m in correspondence with both of them. Brad Love is soon coming out. Like, I think in just a few days, maybe in a week from now or so. he did just a little tiny blurb here when he was writing, this was back in, let’s see, May. And there were lots of fires.

And so he was a bit concerned about his home. Because eight years ago he lost everything. And he says:

“Please, not again, Lord. But my landlord says all is well up there. Yet, still I’m nervous. I’d call the Mayor up there, but he would call the cops on me or he called the cops on me in 2020. I’d call the newspaper. But yeah, the same thing I kid you not! Oh, yeah. Radio station as well. And two MP’s. Should I continue?”

So [chuckling] you see, he’s in jail for writing letters and making phone calls to these representatives that are supposed to be available for us, the citizens! But that’s what he’s in jail for, because I guess they feel that he is pestering them too much.

And then there’s Leslie Bory, who has been in jail now for 16 months plus. And he has not yet been formally charged. Is that correct, Paul? Can you talk a little bit about that? And then we’ll take some callers before we reach the top of the hour.

Paul Fromm: The great abuses of the Canadian justice system is the remand system.

Now, you have a right, if you’re accused of a crime, charged with a crime, to get reasonable bail. That is a right. And it can only be canceled for very serious reasons.

Now, we, without naming names, but summarizing, there are a number of instances recently of people even, who’ve been accused of murder, who are out on bail, armed robbery, shooting people, blah, blah, blah, out on bail!

But political dissidents, like one of the leaders of the truckers Freedom Convoy, Tamara Lich, she’d been in jail for 57 days, denied bail, and when she finally did get bail, she was virtually a prisoner in her own home, not allowed on the Internet, etcetera. Political dissidents have trouble getting bail. And that was Leslie Bory. Leslie had his own little television program on the Internet, I think it was called Brantford TV. And he took some pretty strong stands about, about jews, about police, and so on.

And so he did a broadcast on February 11th of 2023. Four days later, …

Monika Schaefer: Two days later, I believe.

Paul Fromm: Yeah, two days later the police show up armed, to the job he held in a workshop, and guns pointed. The guy was unarmed.

Monika Schaefer: He said he had a lunch kit in one hand and keys in the other hand, and they took him down, you know, SWAT team, like. Yeah, like a dangerous criminal style!

Paul Fromm: The police were raiding his home. They stole his computer and various towers, and his wife was taken off in handcuffs, put in a police cruiser. They put those spike strips across the street, blocked the street off. The woman is unarmed! And she was never charged. There was nothing to charge her with. But anyway, …

Monika Schaefer: So it’s to make a big scene, isn’t it, to show the neighborhood:

“There’s a very dangerous man living here!”

I mean, they did that to me. They came with their flashing lights, two of their, you know, reds and blues vehicles. And I lived like half a block from the RCMP station in Jasper, and yet they drove over with their lights going full bore. And I lived in a co-op there. So dense housing and so that all the neighbors could:

“See what a dangerous person lives here!”

[chuckling]

Paul Fromm: What did she do!:

“Oh, my God! Are our dogs even safe around her?”

But so it was a high impact takedown, and he was charged with three counts of uttering threats against groups, not individuals.

And then later he was charged with one count under the hate law:

“The willful promotion of hate against a privileged group.”

In this case, jews. And one count of:

“Willfully promoting genocide.”

And, okay, all these are non-violent offenses.

Monika Schaefer: If I could just interject, Paul. He’s the messenger. The long and the short of it is that he is the messenger. I say don’t shoot the messenger!

I mean, this is how it is right now.

And we do have a caller on the line, but if you’d like to just complete that thought briefly, we’ll take the call.

Paul Fromm: Anyway. He’s basically in there for running his mouth in a politically incorrect way.

Monika Schaefer: Right.

Paul Fromm: He had bad thoughts as opposed to people who get bail who did bad things, or I should say, do bad things, anyway.

Monika Schaefer: Yeah. The irony is he could be in jail already, sitting in jail longer than what the charge would merit, as in the he’s already, … Like, they won’t let him out until he’s already served the time. That even if he’s guilty of some crime, like, you know what I mean? Like, they just hold him there.

Paul Fromm: He probably already has. Anyway, that was February 14, 2023. Despite numerous attempts to get bail, they have failed. Bail denied. He remains there in warehouse. And there is a very large number of people in Canada, particularly in Ontario, who are essentially being warehoused. They call it “remand”. They’re not given bail, and they’re just there in bad conditions in a prison week after week.

He is now being in for over 500 days. We’ve had six protests outside the prison to support him, and this is a real injustice. His alleged crime are bad words and bad thoughts! He hasn’t hurt anybody. But the system fears the thinker far more than they do the guy that goes and beats someone.

Monika Schaefer: That is the key, Paul! The system that is composed of the criminals. The criminals are running the show. They fear the speech. You know, the truth more than anything else, because that is exactly what will undermine their power!

Paul Fromm: If your audience has ever read Alexander Solzhenitsyn. He described the conditions in the prison camps, the Gulags, and yes, things were not very good for anybody. But killers and rapists and robbers were not treated as badly as the political prisoners. That incident is punished far more!

Monika Schaefer: This is what we’re seeing now. Mr Producer, could you bring in Larkin from Texas? Because we just have five minutes remaining and we’d like to., … He’s been waiting for a while there. Are you there, Lark?

Lark: I am. Thanks, Monika.

Monika Schaefer: Go ahead.

Lark: And how are you, Paul? Paul, I must say that I’ve long wanted to talk to you. Quickly. Are you familiar with Sam Dixon?

Paul Fromm: Oh, yeah. Great friend of mine.

Lark: Yeah. Maybe you could talk to him sometime. He did a keynote address on behalf of Richard Spencer and his group a dozen years ago and you can find it online. It was called America the God that Failed. And in the first couple. In the first couple of minutes, Mr Dixon describes himself as a communitarian.

So this is an important word that I want to bring to your attention because I’ve been researching this for 20 years. You know, I learned quite a bit about what you are confronting by a Professor, the late Doctor Harrell Rome.

Paul Fromm: Oh, yes, I knew him years ago. Yes.

Lark: Yeah. His stuff is still to be found on the Internet. But and this is for you too, Monika.

The truth is, you guys are running into what’s called R2P, or Responsibility to Protect. And this is a part and parcel of communitarian law.

Now, all law enforcement in America since the Patriot Act post 9/11 has been communitarian law enforcement. And it’s taken hold of the courts. Don’t forget that on day 9/11, 2001, it was a Canadian that was captain of the ship there at NORAD in Colorado Springs, Colorado. They basically were part of the command structure.

So the point is that a lot of Canadian history, as we all know, has been tied to the hip with the events that occurred in America over time. And we’ve heard talk about the North American Union and stuff like that. Well, this is actually occurring right on our watch.

But here’s why it called. If you do a search, it’s called COREVALUES, all capped. One word. COREVALUES. It was published in 2013. I’ve already supplied a link to the board op for your benefit, Monika and Paul.

Monika Schaefer: Thank you.

Lark: And yeah, if you guys look at that, you’re going to get at the root of how it is that you’re being railroaded and essentially being harmed by the justice system. And because we have simply not been made aware, we were never sent the memo that the new law of the entire world in a hyper connected time is the same law as the European Union, because that’s the legal undergirding. And that law in the European Union is known as Communitarian Law. So I’ve dropped you a few breadcrumbs. You can always reach out to me if you ever want to talk. But this is what’s at the root of what has happened to you, Paul.

[Brian Ruhe from “The Brian Ruhe Show” interviews (Nov 26, 2018) Monika Schaefer in her second appearance, exactly one month since being released from a German prison. She served 10 months for a six-minute YouTube video, in which she gave a belated apology to her German mother for berating her for not doing something about the “Holocaust“, that Monika has since realized, factually never happened.

They discuss the trial in more detail, for example, how they had to fight to get the microphones turned on so that everyone could hear what was going on. How Alfred fought and succeeded in having his videos shown in full.

More importantly, Monika discusses the absurdity and injustice of the trial system, in that by attempting to defend and explain why she made her video, she runs the very real risk of being charged again for the same thought crime that she is already on trial for! That is the reason why she was advised to flee Germany, using trains, etc., as soon as she was released.

She ends, saying that she’s looking forward to doing some kind of speaking tour after the New Year.

Brian: Welcome to the Brian Ruhe Show. It’s November 26, 2018. It’s now one month since Monika Schaefer’s been in the free world! Since she left prison in Germany for the hate crime of “Holocaust” denial. So she’s back on the show for a second time. It’s a real honor to have you back Monika. How are you doing today?

Monika: Hello Brian! Nice to be back with you. Thank you so much. Yes, today is exactly one month since the last day of the trial and the verdict, which did set me “free”. And I’m glad you put that in quotation marks. Time served, so it was ten months. It was just under ten months, but they said ten months and now you go free.

And, of course, Alfred, unfortunately, is still in jail and will be for quite some time. They gave him thirty eight months, so just over three years. And yeah, we can talk about that some more in the show, too. About how people can support him, and write letters, and that kind of thing.

But anyway, yeah, so it’s been one month! It seems like a lot longer ago. I have to say. “time” has a way of shrinking and expanding on us depending on what we’re doing! And interestingly the way I feel now about this past month, one month going by, is kind of like my first month in jail! How I felt in terms of the time, just crawling by, like it was just this interminably long amount of time, that first month. And then time would speed up, like at the end it was shocking how fast time went by in prison! And now, here I am! You know, I was set free and so much has happened over this past month, and so many impressions, and so many emotional highs and lows, and just going through a lot.

I talked last time with you about escaping out of Germany and out of Europe, needing to do that, because, …

Brian: Eight trains you said to get out of the country!

Monika: Well, eight trains and then an airplane obviously, to get over the ocean. And I needed to do that, because I did new crimes just in trying to defend myself! That’s the crazy thing about if you’re a “thought criminal” in Germany, and you go through the court system, you cannot actually defend yourself, or explain how you reached your conclusions without doing new crime! And I think I talked about that at length last time, so I won’t go into that.

Today I thought I would talk more about the details of what did happen in the trial, not just the fact that it was a dark ages almost pseudo secret trial. We talked about that last time, quite a bit. Just all those aspects about problems with the microphones and people not being able to take notes for a while. And not being recorded. No transcript of the trial, that kind of thing.

And, by the way, there was one aspect of that I did want to update, or make a correction on., because we didn’t quite complete the narrative. And that was about the mics.

Brian: Yeah.

Monika: They did get turned on, but it took a while, right? But that first day we were struggling with that, and I think it was maybe half a day in, and finally did get the mics turned on., because I saw that in the feedback, or the comments, that people who were left with the impression that they never did get turned on. That’s not quite true. We did get them to turn them on. But it was only after, you know, I had talked about how I stood up and just said:

“Hey! This is either a public trial, or it’s not a public trial, and they’re just there for show! If you don’t care that the public can hear.”

All those things did not faze the judge. He was not fazed by any of that until, in my exasperation, I just kind of muttered, almost as an afterthought, I muttered under my breath:

“Well, I can’t hear that well, anymore.”

And that did the trick! At that point he suddenly realized:

“Oh okay, we might be a Inquisition here, or it might be a kangaroo court, but we still have to have some semblance, …”

[her telephone starts ringing] Oh dear, my telephones going! I’m gonna just bury that back here and put a pillow on it! Just a sec. Yeah. Sorry about that. I didn’t think of that before. I should have done that before and buried that. But anyway. [loud laughing]

And then the judge decided:

“Okay the defendant at least has to hear what’s going on, right?” [loud laughing]

So that’s when they decided, yeah, they’ll turn on the mics. It was only when I said I couldn’t hear that well, anymore.

Brian: Yeah, so you needed to hear, of course.

Monika: They had to afford us that much, that the defendant herself has to be able to hear what’s going on! [loud laughing] And that took quite a while to get that. But yeah, so just what happened during the trial? People are probably curious, and I know there were some reports, and the Barnes Review put out reports, and from Lady Michele Renouf who wrote about it, that kind of thing.

Monika: Yeah, but a lot of people felt like there was just this darkness about what actually went on in the trials. So I’ll just give a little bit of a summation of what did go on, why it took so long, 20 days in total.

It was basically a giant education for anybody who was there. [Brian holds up the latest Barnes Review with an article on the trial] Oh my goodness! Wow!

Brian: This is a current issue of the Barnes Review and you’re in it. This is the current issue. Yeah Lady Michele Renouf’s write up is in here. Yeah I could just show the audience. Here it is “History and Free Speech Holocausted in Germany”. This is a current issue. This is the write up about you.

Monika: Oh fantastic!

Brian: Yeah.

Monika: I must get that!

Brian: Yeah,

Monika: Okay, well I’ll deal with that later. So thanks Brian for showing that.

It was basically a giant education, so that nobody who was in that courtroom could say afterwards:

“We just didn’t know! We just didn’t understand!”

So, at first they were just going to show little snippets, little tiny portions, of the offending parts of the videos. There were multiple charges against Alfred, there were multiple charges against me, more against Alfred. He’s created more videos. And so they would outline, you know, minute three, or minute ten, out of this video, this kind of thing. And they’d only scheduled four days at first for the trial, and they just thought they’d show these little offending bits, and:

“They broke the law! And this is what the law says and these are ‘inciting hatred’ and riling people up.”

And whatnot. And not show them in their entirety. And then they would be done with it, and bingo, lock them away!

But Alfred was very strategic, and it was brilliant how he forced them to show the videos in their entirety, so that they would be in context. Sort of like reading a book from front to back, instead of just reading a little paragraph here, and a little paragraph there. So you take everything out of context.

Brian: He did he manage to convince the judge to do that? Because I know he did long videos, he’s playing.

Monika: Yeah. He just simply did not answer questions that the judge was asking him, which pertain to the technicality of when, and where, did you produce these, or push the button to send it out into the internet? That kind of thing. And those were the questions that they were very, very interested in. They, of course, are not interested in the contents pertaining to reality, or history. They don’t want to know those things, in fact, they would deny us the opportunity to bring this kind of evidence into the court, over, and over, again. No, they’re more interested in:

“When did you push that button, and push that send? And where were you exactly? And what was the date? And what was the minute and second of when it was released to the world?”

And this kind of thing, because that then can be used to show:

“Oh! We broke their law!”

Right? So Alfred just simply refused to answer those questions. He just said:

“Well, I’m not gonna answer that. We have to see the whole video. I’m not gonna answer that, we have to see the whole video!”

Eventually we won that, or he won that. And the judge just decided:

“Yep! We’ll see the videos.”

So we saw a lot of videos. And then, of course, most of these are in English and they needed to be translated. So they were translated into German and those translations were read out. So those were prepared, they weren’t just simultaneous translations. No, they were prepared. We would see the video in its entirety, and then hear the translation. And those, of course, since they are on paper, they are on the record. Those are now, …

Brian: Oh, so it is part of the record. That’s good.

Monika: Yeah. That is good. So that was a good chunk of time taken up by the watching of those videos. But after each video there would be questions and answers. An opportunity for all of us who wanted could speak. Like whether it was Alfred, or his lawyer, or me, or my lawyer, or the prosecutor. Everybody had a chance to speak. So most of, …

Brian: I remember in your letters, you said there’s a bit more mutual respect between Alfred and the judge, you know, when they’re going through all these videos. Sort of like teaching them, explaining. I mean, he said those were a real education for the court.

Monika: Well, that’s how we perceived it. They evidently, … I mean, we knew this wasn’t going to go, … They were quite likely not going to do us a personal favor. Alfred knows that. We all knew that. However, I mean, we’re doing this for all of us, our enlightenment, for truth. This is just really important historically to, hear it is!

So then a lot of the time, also, was taken up by these motions for evidence, or I don’t know what you would call it in English. It was “xxx”. So these documents, some of them were quite thick, to be read in court. Now the judge didn’t always allow these to be read, because he said:

“Oh, that’s too long, we don’t have time. It’s the end of the day.”

But this was ridiculous! There were more days scheduled! It has to take as long as it has to take. But so, when they were not read out loud, the judges were supposed to read these on their own, and the prosecutors too. And that was the sort of their promise, or their covenant, or whatever, that they would say. Yes, that we will take these for our own reading. But then it doesn’t go to the public, nobody hears it. And then there’s the opportunity for the press that’s there, you know, the mainstream press. I mean, they could just interpret these things however they want, because it’s not actually out there for the public to hear, what, is in it.

Then you only hear the interpretation of the prosecutor afterwards, and in the final judgement, of course, the judge, … But, some of these things did get read out loud. And to give you an example what those would be, one of the accusations against Alfred was this term that he used, “parasite”, okay. And they accused him “that’s hatred”. Well no! He wanted to get a biologist, an expert in to describe exactly what that means.

Brian: [laughing] What a parasite is! If it’s realistic, if it’s straightforward and honest, how could you call it hate?

Monika: In a very biological sense, what is a parasitic relationship with a host? Okay. So that kind of request for expertise. Or a request for an historian to verify that the things that Alfred is saying, either in the videos, or in these long documents, these motions for evidence.

The quotes that are being given by, you know, people who want to do away with us, the White race, for example. So quotes by Noel Ignatieff, or these books, you know, the Hooton Plan, or the Coudenhove-Kalergi Plan, or Kaufman, you know, Theodore Kaufman, or countless books, or papers. Or, you know, positions that have been taken and are widely documented and they’re known of but Alfred was requesting that there be an expert historian to verify that these are actually out there in the public record.

That these things have been said by these people. So that it’s not us making it up. It’s not us just making up things. That, you know, whether the jewish people are saying this about us, or we’re saying this about them, or whatever. No! If we’re quoting somebody else, we want to know that was actually what they said! So these kind of requests. But, of course, those were all dismissed, put aside.

Also at towards the end of the trial my lawyer did make a request for Fred Leuchter to appear in court. Now not in person, because that would be very dangerous for him to come to Germany. He’d end up in the gulag, too! But — via videoconferencing — to bring him back on, because his evidence had been used in the videos, and in the written submissions. And that was also dismissed, pushed aside.

“No! We don’t need him to come!”

So anything that we requested to verify our positions, the things that they are using against us, to incarcerate us, to call us the “haters”, but we’re just presenting it to the world. But any of these things that we wanted to prove and show, they just dismissed it!

“Nope! No! No! You guys are bad! You’re the haters! We don’t like what you’re saying and full of your hatred! And your undermining confidence in the justice system!”

That is in each charge. Then they say you are basically “inciting hatred” and:

“Undermining confidence in the justice system!”

Brian: What’s wrong with undermining confidence in the justice system, or a political system? If you don’t have confidence in it, that’s freedom of speech! Right? Like criticizing the government, anyone can do that, right?

Monika: Well, not only that, isn’t in an irony that these things they’re doing to us, like raiding Alfred’s home three times, over the past three years, and taking all his equipment, and whatnot. And then if you point that out:

“Oh! You’re undermining confidence!”

Well aren’t they just undermining confidence in the justice system by locking people away for freedom of expression, and stealing their equipment from their homes? And, you know, appearing any time of night, or day. I mean, they can come in the middle of night. In those cases they came early morning. But they’re the ones doing all these things to undermine our confidence!

Brian: That’s a double standard!

Monika: And then they tell us we’re undermining the confidence in the system! Right. So yeah.

I wanted to also talk about some of the specific points that I was charged on, and they’re just crazy! And I talked about these during the “last word”, you know, the final, what do you call it? When I gave the last word, four hour speech that I gave. [final words from the defendant at the end of the trial]

So one of the charges against me originally, and actually this one, I think, it was dropped in the end, but I don’t have my legal, all the legal documents with me here. Hopefully they will be sent to me. I wasn’t able to take everything along with me when I fled quickly. I couldn’t fit it all on my suitcase! But the CODOH video that was produced, in which we answer the question:

“Why do you support open debate on the “Holocaust”?”

Brian: Oh! I remember that when you made it. Yeah.

Monika: Yeah, it’s a less than four minute video, which we just sent sound clips, we didn’t actually produce that one. It was produced in the States, and I don’t have to go further with that. But it’s CODOH, the Committee for Open Debate on the “Holocaust”. And this little video, it just turned out really great, I think. Because really, we’re just answering this question, that if you substituted that “H” word with any other word, anything else, everybody would say:

“Well, of course, you should be able to debate that! Of course, you should be able to talk about these things! Why wouldn’t you?”

I mean, this is really the only historical event that is legislated by law. That there’s one version of it, and you’re not allowed to talk about it. But so, this is just answering the question:

“Why do you support open debate on this taboo subject?”

And so I was delighted actually, that if they were going to charge us, and charge me at all, well good that they included that one in there. Because it just is one of these things that demonstrates incredibly well how they are defending and supporting lies! I mean, really! I don’t think you can watch that video without shaking your head and saying:

“Well that’s logical! Of course, you should be able to debate it!”

We don’t even talk about things happening, or not happening. We’re just saying:

“Yeah, we should be able to discuss it!”

Brian: Yeah just to discuss it. Ask questions about it.

Monika: That’s not allowed! That’s not allowed! And they just proved it by putting that in the charges.

Okay, another one that they charged me with, that which they definitely kept in, and I was awarded several months of incarceration, you know, verdict for. Was the video that was with Gerd Ittner, who just was released not that long ago from prison, another prison sentence.

And Gerd Ittner and Alfred, they had this video called “Dissidents Speak Out” [“A Dissident Speaking Out — Gerhard Ittner”] and they had a version in German and a version in English. And I think the English version was entitled “Dissidents Speak Out”. In German it was “Dissidenten sprechen sich aus”. And the German version of my offending video the “Sorry Mom” video, the German version in Germany disappeared very quickly, because they censor things like crazy. And so they had wanted, like Gerd Ittner, wanted that video to show up more — and mine’s just short, right, that’s six minutes and theirs was already half an hour, so to add six minutes to their half hour video that was just a little addition — and so they put that one in there, mine, into their video, into the dissidents video. And I didn’t know about it, but I was charged with having collaborated to do this!

Brian: Oh! You weren’t aware of it?

Monika: No! I wasn’t aware of it until afterwards. Now it’s irrelevant what I think about the idea. I don’t even need to comment on that. Do I think that was good that they did that, or not, good? It’s irrelevant! But the relevant part is that they charged me! That I spent time in jail for having participated in doing that! You know, to — what’s the word — to “conspire” with them to do that. Conspire, that’s the word I was actually wanting to use. Because, they keep talking about “conspiracies”! And “conspiracy theories” and all this! Making it sound like that’s some kind of a, like crazy thing!

Brian: Well, like you’re a nut!

Monika: Yeah, yeah! Anyway, so I made it very, very clear, as did my lawyer. And we were able to show that I had no foreknowledge, I had no knowledge of them doing this, to put that video in there. But they kept it in there, and, you know, that was part of my verdict.

Brian: So were you out of prison at the time? When they put it in.

Monika: Of course! Of course. So this is all, …

Brian: So there was no way to discuss it, …

Monika: This is just the verdict on me, because I did get the verdict of guilty. Just, because I was released, doesn’t mean I got “not guilty”. I got “guilty”, but ten months prison sentence. And I had already served it, so then they released me. But that charge remained. So I got a guilty verdict on that charge, even though I was able to prove, really, … I mean, I guess I don’t know how does one prove something like that? :

“Did know about it in advance?”

So they are going to read your mind? But I was able to make a strong case for the fact that I had no knowledge about, …

Brian: What about, they know your letters in prison. It wasn’t in your letters, right, they we’re doing this? So isn’t that evidence of nothing, you didn’t know? You just you didn’t have much communication, right?

Monika: No. That video was produced like a couple of years ago! So it’s not produced while I was in prison, right?

Brian: Right okay.

Monika: But anyway, I made an analogy in the “last words”. I said:

“Okay, let’s say we go out into the woods and I’m gonna instruct people on how to build a fire out in the woods, you know, using the lichen off the tree. And just making a fire where you don’t have a blowtorch, you know. [loud laughing] You might just have a match, if that. And I teach people how to make a fire on a survival course. And so everybody’s happy. And then we come back. And then maybe a month later there’s a case of arson. Somebody burnt down a building. And then they find out, oh it was somebody that happened to go on that survival course and learned how to make a fire from Monika Schaefer! Oh we’re gonna charge Monika Schaefer with that arson!”

Brian: Yeah. Good analogy.

Monika: You know, it’s kind of crazy! Like they’re making some kind of a weird connection that makes no sense. And maybe that’s not even a good analogy, because that was a destructive act, and that I don’t want to make that a comparison with putting that video into the “Dissident” video, at all! But just the logic, the step of logic, just doesn’t exist, it’s crazy! But this is the kind of thing they were doing. And that’s why I was always saying with delight to my friends in prison:

“Gee, every day they’re proving to us how truth, and justice, and right, and righteousness, lies on our side, and they’re defending lies!”

So. Anyway. One of the things that they did also do, they did stop some letters going in and going out, and they stopped those letters, or sometimes they just photocopied them, and then still sent them onwards. But they read one of my letters in court. One letter that I had written to somebody, and it was in German this letter. And at first I was quite nervous. And my lawyer had wanted to stop them from doing that, because he hadn’t seen it. And his argument was:

“It’s always the right the right of the defense to see the evidence before it’s brought out into the court.”

But I said:

“No. No. Let them read it.”

Because I was quite confident, even though I didn’t remember specifically what I’d put into that letter, you know, because I wrote so many letters. But I was quite confident that it should be suitable for reading in court. But still, you get nervous, you know, here they are going to read this letter in court and it’s supposed to be very incriminating!

Anyway I was quite delighted after they read it. And I did translate it, and I want to read that now.

Brian: Very good. Yeah, let’s hear it! Thanks.

Monika: So this was read out in the court, in the Inquisition of the Schaefers. [loud laughing]

“Dear Doctor R.”

I’ll just call him that to protect his identity.

“Thank you for your letter dated July 15th, which I received July 27th. You are not alone in thinking about the witch persecutions. I have often thought of them. I am very grateful that there is no death penalty, at this point, in time, because we both know what would then be. One thing occurs to me, just like today there are many helpers, or quislings, or followers.”

I wasn’t sure of the English word to use here, “Shabbat goy”, maybe.

“Just like today, there are many “Shabbat goy” who firmly believe they are doing good when they betray people who are actually telling the truth. I would think it was that the same back then. It is likely that people sometimes betrayed as “witches”, their own relatives and believed they were doing good. I suspect there were a lot of lies, deceptions, indoctrination, and brainwashing at that time, as well. And that fear played a large role. Or, I probably know far too little about the history.

I don’t think that the letters written to me, as per your concern, harm me, more than help me. The authorities have to catch on eventually, that the more they just lock people up simply for saying inconvenient things, or asking questions, the more it rattles the people awake out there. At some point it just gets to be too much. The servants of the system just don’t know when to stop.

Sure, sometimes letters in both directions are confiscated, copied, either forwarded, or not, used as evidence against me, but I have to say it sometimes has very little to do with contents regarding history. They are not interested in history, and truth! Only whether we bumped up against some thought control law, or pushed a button in the Internet. That’s what I mean.

The law itself is so intangible and unclear. Well, it has to be, for their purpose of serving a regime built on lies. The whole thing makes me think of Kafka and the book, or the film, 1984 by George Orwell. When I read 1984, back in the 70s, I never could have imagined that I would one day find myself in the middle of that book, …”

Then I wrote a little bit about stamps, which is now irrelevant. And then I continued:

“In the meantime the trial continues. Maybe I’ll be out of here soon see, dot, dot, dot.”

And I signed off.

And so, that was a letter that they read out loud. And I’m telling you when they finished reading that I just about jumped up and down for joy, because I was proud of that letter! You know? I mean, I thought:

“Maybe they’re on my side?”

Brian: Yeah.

Monika: It made me think;

“Maybe?”

That like, there’s there are two main judges and two lay judges. And the one who was tasked with going through the mail, was the one of the main judges, but not the head judge. You know, it was the woman. And at first it was that prosecutor who was reading all the mail. And they got way behind, and they couldn’t handle it anymore! And they were just complaining, that’s all they were doing anymore, is reading this mail for Monika Schaefer! And they were frustrated.

Anyway, they finally passed it off to the judge, and she was reading all the mail. And she just looked so friendly, I have to say. I just thought:

“She’s on my side! That letter was in my favor, I thought.”

But evidently not! For their final result, the verdict — especially when the head judge was saying at the very end:

“Every day we proved what haters we were!”

My goodness!

Brian: Yeah, what really stuck with me, the judge was saying:

“It doesn’t matter whether the “Holocaust” happened, or not. What matters is that it’s illegal in Germany to deny it!”

Monika: That was the judge for the Ernst Zündel case — just to be clear. I was making comparison in our last show. About how our judge handled it and how that judge handled it quite differently. Right?

Like our judge never said anything of that sort, and did not let on at all that he might have realized that, very same thing.

Brian: Okay. Yeah I misunderstood that, yeah.

Monika: That was the Ernst Zündel [Trial], at the end of that. And I thought that was pretty interesting actually, because it makes it clear that judge understood.

Brian: Yeah. It would be huge admission for a judge to say that. It’s good that he said that at the Zundel trial.

Monika: Some people make the commentary that was actually quite risky for that judge to have said that. But then, of course, he slapped on the maximum sentence, five years, for Ernst Zündel. So he still, you know, did that. But just by making that admission, just to say that:

“It doesn’t matter if it happened, or not, and what matters is that it’s against the law to question it, and you broke the law.”

But no, our judge didn’t do that at all. No! No, our judge was actually, well the head judge, the one who then spoke, you know, sort of like a chairman. Oh my goodness! No you didn’t get that impression at all!

And I know partway through, after that first wild week when things were just a “gong show”, there. After that it settled down a bit and all the videos were being shown, and then the question/answer and all that. And that’s when Alfred made the comment that he thought there was this mutual respect developing between them. And Alfred is the eternal optimist! Who really does have this positive outlook, thinking, you know:

“These people, they will know, and they will all learn, and they will understand it. And at some point they’re going to turn. And turn around and to come over to our side. To do the right thing!”

And Alfred has that huge, you know, he just radiates that optimism too, which gives him the strength too, to carry on! And it’s wonderful! Like that is an infectious and wonderful energy that he has. To have that outlook!

Brian: Yeah, I can see that in his videos, as well. But I guess it didn’t pan out that way. You know, others were responding to that.

Monika: But at some point it will happen! And then it’s just going to be this domino and avalanche effect! That somebody, some judge is just going to be courageous enough to do that, even if it means that they themselves suffer some dire consequences.

And I think that it has happened in some forms, or other, in Germany. Like I can’t remember the specifics, but there was some case that was going on and it wasn’t exactly like ours. But people in all these positions, they know what’s going on. At some point that dream, that prophetic dream, that Ursula Haverbeck had, while in prison already. I don’t know if you heard about that dream? But it was this wonderful prophetic dream in which they, all these military type people, and the jail type people, the inquisitors, the judges, they, … Somebody just at some point said:

“I’m not going to participate in this anymore!”

And in her dream there was torture going on, and all this thing. So it really was a dream that she wrote down. And this has gone out maybe, it’s more, you know, even more, … I don’t know if it’s been translated into English, but it was a wonderful dream. And they just stopped participating, in this dream. And to cut to the chase, you know, in the end she woke up great really relieved, that:

“Oh thank goodness! They have just stopped participating! And now it’s gonna turn.”

At some point, it’s going to turn!

Brian: Yeah it good! Yeah, I guess we don’t know when. I guess they’re firmly in the saddle at this time. But it’s good that you, you know, people are making the sacrifices to do this. But certainly I guess, within Germany there’s more truth amongst the people, about World War Two and the role of Adolf Hitler. There are these groups of Germans which are patriotic and know about that. And they get together and they meet, you know.

Monika: Yeah, it’s hard to know how many people know, they’re in Germany, what’s going on. But it’s more and more, all the time. It really is. Like people are waking up. I know that, for instance, the driver going back and forth between the courthouse and the prison, I know that some of them are very aware, just from some of the comments I was getting from them in my interactions. Because I went back and forth so often that then they started to get more comfortable.

And I just know that they can see what’s going on! They’re driving prisoners back and forth all day, so they see who’s doing all these things. Why are they in jail? And, who are they? [loud laughing]

Brian: Is there any idea of just how many people are in jail in Germany for “Holocaust” denial, for this “hate crime”? It’s hard to get any figures. Maybe they don’t want us to know? Do you have any idea?

Monika: I don’t think it’s that many that are actually, … But I shouldn’t even say that. I don’t know how many there are. But I do know that there’s a lot of charges on the same law, this 130, this paragraph one thirty. Two thousand a year is what I was told. Two thousand charges a year, which means that people are paying fines, people are forced to do this, or that, or the other thing. I don’t know what some of the other conditions are.

Brian: So that’s 2,000 people for “Holocaust” denial and Germany, you mean?

Monika: Well they don’t even have the words “Holocaust denial” in their law. The word “Holocaust” does not appear in that law. But it is always about that. That paragraph 130. That is what it’s about! And there are 2,000 cases a year being processed! And that law has existed since 1994. It did not exist before 1994. So, you know, my lawyer argued very well that they got along without a law for 40 years, after the war. And they were actually encouraged, when he was in his, you know, schooling.

“Yes debate these things! Talk about these things! We should be able to discuss these things.”

And they did without fear of persecution.

Brian: That’s surprising that in Germany they could talk openly about that until 1994. You think they would have prevented any doubts about the “Holocaust”?

Monika: Well, the reeducation program was in full swing.

Brian: Yeah.

Monika: And there too, you know, that really got into swing, I guess the whole “Holocaust” thing, in the 70s, right? It wasn’t right after the war. It was too close to events. But then those people who went through the school system, people of my age, our age, they really got hit with it. And subsequently to that they’re just getting really, you know, the triple, quadruple, dose of that, the poison of the mind! You know, the poison that gets put into the mind, of these lies.

Brian: Yeah. I met, with Germans I’ve met here, you can really see that strong reaction. They are convinced that way. So of these 2,000, you would say probably few would go to jail? They would get a fine, or something else like that?

Monika: Yeah, and I don’t know how many are in jail, specifically for this. I think there’s probably quite a few in jail for related, you know, “inconvenient truths”. I don’t know, though.

Brian: I think the person who has been in jail the longest for this is Wolfgang Fröhlich, about 14 years in jail!

Monika: In Austria.

Brian: Yeah it’s in Austria, yeah. Because he was like a pest-control expert, and he testified in Switzerland and he, while in jail, keeps writing letters to authorities saying:

“No it couldn’t have happened this way, you know, because like this Zyklon B needs about 25 degrees fahrenheit to evaporate to kill people. But they these chambers were only like 15 degrees. It was too cool, so wouldn’t have happened.”

So I think that’s so threatening, because he knows his chemistry! That’s why they keep putting it back in jail. It’s a tragedy, like 14 years in jail! He gets the record, Wolfgang Fröhlich!

Monika: Yes and I’m so glad you brought up his name, because it’s really important that we don’t forget any of these people. And that we support these people. They are, I mean, what a sacrifice he’s made! And he’s not bending, he’s not bowing down, just because they put him in jail. Right? He just keeps speaking the truth. And this, I mean, they just keep putting him in, back in. Or they keep him in there for the repeat offense. Well, that’s like us in our trial. We couldn’t go through that trial, without repeat offending! It’s rather, … That alone should wake people up, that there’s something deeply wrong with this!

Brian: Yeah.

Monika: Because you can’t defend yourself! Now shouldn’t there logically be the provision that at least during your trial you can speak about these things without “re-offending” making a new crime? No, you’re defending yourself for what they’ve already charged you with! And yet you’re incurring “new crimes” that they’re going to put you in longer for!

Alfred is facing a new court date, January 28th.

Brian: Oh, for what? What’s the charge for January 28th?

Monika: For the things he said and did during the trial!

Brian: Oh gosh!

Monika: This is what I’m saying! He got three years two months. And that doesn’t mean he’s going to, like, they just want to keep him there for a long time! It’s, it’s, … [shaking her head]

Brian: So they can add to it? He’s on trial, so they can add to it?

Monika: Yes. And I mean, it leaves me speechless, literally! So but what can people do? I mean, there’s a lot of things people to do, and we don’t want to prescribe. Everybody has their own imagination, and everybody has their own capacities, and these could be little things, big things. But one of the things you could do to help the political prisoners is write letters to them, or write letters to embassies, or consulates, or whatever. Because that puts the pressure on! And it shows the authorities that these people have support. You know, if the letters just dried up, then it’s:

“Ha! See we can get away with this!”

No! People should be writing lots and lots of letters and keep doing it!

Brian: Well I’ll put the address for Alfred below this video, like it did in the last video. Yeah. I guess maybe your demeanor in court was different than Alfred’s? Was he more challenging and you’re a bit calmer? I guess they treated you differently than they did Alfred, it seems, right?

Monika: Well the verdict was less, because there were less counts against me, as well. And yeah, we have our different styles and that’s perfectly natural too, we’re two different people. I say to people:

“Look we’re on exactly the same page, but we have our different styles of communication and all that.”

And plus it was important for me to get out. I was already there, and so there was a different strategy. I didn’t speak as much during the trial. But I did do quite a speech at the end, there! [loud laughing]

Brian: I think you had a good strategy. You did get out! I was impressed, you know, like, I thought they’d hold you for a year, or more. So I guess your strategy worked.

Monika: Well, the persecutor, sorry prosecutor, [loud laughing] I accidentally said “persecutor”. The prosecutor called for thirteen months for me, and for three years, seven months for Alfred, something like that. So that is one thing you could say. The judges did go lower in both cases, you know, that’s one thing you could say. [chuckling]

Brian: Okay, well, …

Monika: Yeah anyway, I don’t remember what else I was gonna talk about today, but I think that’s probably, … Is there anything else that you wanted, that comes to mind?

Brian: Well there’s a few comments and questions in the chat. One person asked:

“What was your first meal in prison.”

Do you remember that?

Monika: You know, the first food that I was offered was actually in the holding cell, right in the courtroom on January 3rd. When they just grabbed me, and handcuffed me, and took me against my will. And I protested that I was a free Canadian citizen. And they threw me in this hole, in the basement, like it’s just this little holding cell. And then a number of hours later they came by with a trolley, and in the trolley they, in the little cooler box. They had sandwiches and apples. So I had a sandwich and an apple. That would have been my first meal while incarcerated. [chuckling]

Brian: Another comment in the chat, or someone saying. This is from “purple carnation”. He said:

“Can you appeal Monika? How can you not be allowed to produce your own evidence to support your innocence? This is what happened in Nuremberg! You’re really a conquered people!”

Monika: Thank you! That is just, … Thanks so much for that question and comment. And I did want to say this, and I’ve forgotten, both times, both interviews with you Brian. It is being appealed! My lawyer is appealing my verdict! And Alfred’s lawyer is appealing Alfred’s verdict! And people might, at first glance, say:

“Well, why appeal? You’re out! You’re free! Right!”

Well, it’s the wrong verdict, right? They pronounce me guilty, I served months and they pronounced me guilty, plus costs. Can you imagine court costs? Oh my goodness! That’s gonna be a bundle of money! But it’s being appealed! So I haven’t been sent a bill yet, or anything like that. It’s being appealed, because it’s the wrong verdict.

So that’s going to go up to the Supreme Court in Germany. And we talked at the very beginning about the title, you know, being set out into the “free” world. It’s kind of going, you know, one prison cell to another. None of us are free! If there are political prisoners. If there’s one person in jail, we’re all in jail really. Because we’re in this mind prison, we’re in the prison of the mind. Like we are in a virtual prison. So I kind of wanted to throw that comment in there.

And what was the other part of that person’s comment? So it was about this appeal, and, … I don’t hear you.

Brian: Yeah, sorry. Yeah, are you going to appeal? And he said this is like the Nuremberg Trials.

Monika: Oh yeah, that was the other part I wanted to comment on.

Brian: Yeah.

Monika: The Nuremberg trials! At that trial how many people are aware that there they just proclaimed that you do not need evidence to prove something that is “common knowledge”?

Brian: Oh yeah! So they put out the propaganda, people believe it, therefore it’s “common knowledge”. [shaking his head]

Dachau display table. Human skin lampshades, shrunken heads, bone ashtrays — all “common knowledge” with enough propaganda!

Monika: It’s “common knowledge” that this thing happened! We’re just gonna proclaim that it’s “common knowledge” and that set the bar for evermore! I mean, this is just something that drives me crazy! That kind of thing, we need to tell people over, and over again! And we need to spread that. But if you just declare at that first very infamous trial, post World War Two, and it really was a terrible thing that happened there!

They just said:

“This is ‘common knowledge’. We don’t need evidence.”

And then, in fact, they just had all this “counter evidence” which was a bunch of lies, and distortions. And then they hanged these people!

Brian: Yeah. It’s like they create their own realities, kind of jewish thinking, you know, this subjectivism. They create their own reality, and then they impose that upon us.

Monika: Yes! And then forever more, … Like I get this so much in town here people saying, or on social media, people are always saying:

“Oh! This is the most well-documented event in history! This is just so well documented! It’s just got to be the most studied event in history!”

But then they never say:

“No. Where’s where’s the evidence? Where is it?”

No! They just keep repeating that statement. It’s just an empty shell of a statement! Which is a complete and utter lie!

Brian: Yeah. They’ve thoroughly studied the lies and repeated the lies. That’s why they call it one the most documenting crimes in history! [chuckling] Because they document a bunch of lies!

Monika: You could exactly just invert that, because they invert everything, and they say it’s the most repeated lie in history! And it really is. Or it’s the most repeated documentation of non evidence, or false evidence, or whatever! It, that drives me crazy! And they started with out at the Nuremberg Trials. Just look up articles 19 and 21 of the Nuremberg trials and you will find it in more legalese language, but that is basically is where they say:

“We’re not going to have evidence for this. We don’t need evidence, because it’s common knowledge.”

Brian: I want to ask, how are you doing back home, in Jasper, Alberta? How is the town treating you? How does it feel?

Monika: Yeah, it definitely has gotten better since I last talked to you, on November 15. Like at that point, I had some encounters that just made me feel:

“Whoa! What am I coming back into?”

And there still is that fear in people’s eyes. And I just try to be friendly to them and ask them how are the kids doing, or whatever! [chuckling] It sort of disarms that fear, a little bit. But I’ve also had some really nice “welcome home” hugs, you know. And people really meaning it when they say “welcome home Monika”. And that’s good! I mean, life is not like it was before. It never will be, but I’m not looking for that. We’re in a different kind of a world than what I was perceiving before I started waking up to this, to all these deceptions.

Brian: Because I remember you were barred from the Legion, but you’re not barred from anyone else, right? You are free, right?

Monika: Well, no. I haven’t really tested that out, and actually I haven’t tested that out. And I was barred, I was banned from a couple of other places too, actually. There was a breakfast kind of a place where she was extremely hostile to me and then threw me out, and barred me from ever coming in there.

Brian: Gosh! Gosh.

Monika: But the Legion was the big one, because it’s a sort of a central, it’s a focal point in this town for all kinds of events. Lots of stuff goes on there.

Brian: You’re not barred from the Legion now, right? You used to perform music there, right? [Brian was breaking up here and was hard to hear.]

Monika: Oh yeah. In fact, our band helped bring that up from, you know, at the time that was a pretty dead place and then the guy that — well, Ken Kuzminski, the President there — he wanted to bring live music in. And he approached me with my band to come in. And we came in on a regular basis for about a year. We came in about once a month and performed, and then other groups did. And then he started going with bands that were traveling from elsewhere, not just local bands. But yeah we kind of kick-started that. Helped to kickstart, getting that place a “happening” place. [chuckling]

And now I’m forbidden! But I don’t know if I am, like I say, … Anyway I don’t want to talk too much more about that in case I want to go down there and try it out.

Brian: Yeah. What about going on tour, [words unclear] go across Canada and talk about your experience?

Monika: Oh yes, I’m looking forward to that! I think in the new year there will be a little bit of a speaking tour happening in Canada! So don’t know the details yet. But definitely want to do a little bit of speaking. I would love to do that. And I will.

Brian: Very good! Yeah, anything else? It’s been a good interview, a good follow up on our first talk, when it’s so fresh on your mind. So do you feel you’re adjusting, you’re getting on with your life? Maybe things will never be the same, of course, after this.

Monika: Yeah, like I say, it’s been exactly a month today. And like I said at the beginning, that time, it seems like a long time ago, because so much has happened, and I’m just finding my feet. But I expect that things will go a little smoother going forward from here and maybe normalize a little bit in terms of just day-to-day life. And I’m feeling pretty good!

Brian: Wow! They did a lot of work for you, didn’t they!

Monika: Yeah! Yeah, so I guess on that note of this being a very political trial, a political case, a political incarceration, and I just talked about Ottawa forbidding the consulate to attend. So, having been released just three weeks ago tomorrow, I thought it would be nice to spend a few weeks, or at least a few days, in Germany, after I was released, to visit with relatives. [adjusting her camera] it’s the other way? No like this?

Brian: Yeah I’m just saying. Yeah, a bit too much head-space.

Monika: Okay I went the other way. I understood the opposite there Brian, from your gestures.

Brian: Yeah. You still have a bit too much head-space.

Monika: No problem. Yeah I just understood the opposite, so I gave it more. Anyway, what happened is I had to flee. So I went from prisoner to fugitive! And it’s, because I got indications and signals from several directions. This was not just one person telling me:

“Gee Monika, we think it’s dangerous for you to stay in Germany.”

This was several sources, giving me the indication that it’s, time to get out. I had to flee. So I went from being ten months in a prison cell, where basically I have no power over decision-making for day-to-day life. Right? I mean, it’s not like I left my brain behind. Like I didn’t put my brain to sleep, I used all my faculties, and I worked hard, and I was very disciplined at staying active, mentally and physically, and every which way. I was really trying to stay alert and active. However when it comes to the day-to-day decision-making, you have no power, nothing! You know, they set the schedule and you’re basically at their disposal. They’ve got the key and they turn it when they feel like turning it. And you’re on a very, very strict tight schedule.

So I went from that for 10 months [chuckling] to suddenly having to flee! And being basically thrown out into the world and having to make my way home. And I’m telling you, it was a little bit more excitement than I cared for!

Brian: Yeah, “excitement” doesn’t sound like the word. It must have been quite disturbing. Were you isolated emotionally? , or how did it feel?

Monika: I would say that for several days, hour after hour, after hour, and through the night, I was travelling by trains to get out of Germany and not fly from Germany. That was the advice also. I was just on a really high level of tension. And I don’t know what you could call it. I guess probably there was adrenaline coursing through my body. But I don’t know adrenaline is just a really fast thing, you know, fight-or-flight. But it felt like I was in the flight mode for hour, after hour, after hour! It was, yeah, it was extreme, I have to say!

Brian: Was anybody with you, supporting you? Or were you alone traveling?

Monika: I was alone traveling. I started out with a family member, the very first leg. Then basically eight trains later I was at an airport in another country. And then I could buy a ticket like walking up to a bus ticket counter, except that this was to get on an airplane. And so I flew back to Canada.

So, I was very fortunate in that I had support, in terms of, I had money in my pocket. I mean, I had to have money in my pocket. I didn’t have any of, … The money stayed in a prison. Right now it’s still there, because I got released on a Friday night some they said they were sending you money to buy stamps and things like that.

Brian: Did you ever get that?

Monika: Oh yes! And I also want to say thank you so much to all the people who did send donations. All those 5, and 10, and 20 Euro donations. So they would put that into the account there. But there’s now still money there. Hopefully my lawyer will be able to get it out. I did send him a, you know, like a power of attorney thing, just to be able to do that. And there were foreign currencies amounts, as well. And checks which they would have just handed to me if I had been able to pick those up. But I had to flee! I did go back to the jail on the Saturday. That was kind of even, that was risky. My lawyer didn’t really want me to do that. I was released on Friday.

Brian: It sounds terrible! Like why is it risky? They released you from prison legally, what, why is it so risky? Or can’t you tell us?

Monika: Very good question! This brings us to the core of the German court system. The German so-called “justice” system. You cannot defend yourself in a German court of law, because if you defend yourself, by speaking about the very things that you are in prison for, well then you are doing a “new” crime! Like the thing that they call a “crime”, the politically incorrect speech, whatever it is that they threw you in there for like what they threw me in for, was just for speaking, peaceful expression. Never did violence. Never promoted violence. Never did anything like that! Just peacefully talking about how I see the events of World War Two. And they are very different from what we have been taught. So if we defend ourselves in court by talking about those things we do “new” crime in their eyes! Like do you see the, …

Brian: Wow! It’s Orwellian!

Monika: It’s bizarre! It is completely bizarre! So in the last word, so the prisoner, the defendant gets the last word, “das letzte Wort”. So I gave a quite a long speech, almost four hours. And I studiously actually avoided the taboo “H” subject [Holocaust/Holohoax], you know, [loud laughing] this taboo subject! But, the context — and we all know what happened to Sylvia Stolz — and she has been, …

Brian: You can tell the audience though, tell the audience what happened to Sylvia Stolz.

Monika: Yes. Well, she did spend time in jail. She was the attorney for Ernst Zundel, years ago in Germany. And did her job “too well”, and she was thrown into jail for almost three and a half years. So she spent three and a half years in jail and then barred from carrying on her profession, as a lawyer. And then sometime later, she was in Switzerland, gave a talk there. And it was on the subject of “freedom of speech”. And she didn’t say the “H” word, and I’m talking about the “Holocaust” word. She didn’t say it once in her whole speech, and yet when she came back to Germany she was charged for that speech!

Again, this 130, the law, or the statute 130, paragraph 130, is the law that says — it doesn’t actually say the word “Holocaust” — and it’s very, very vague. You can hardly, you can’t really put your fingers on what that law says. It’s very vague, but it has to be. If you’re defending lies with laws, you have to be vague, so that you can interpret these things however they want to interpret these things. So you don’t really know what you’re allowed to say, or not allowed to say.

But anyway, so she was charged with, again this thing called the “Holocaust”, denying it, but really like it’s not even in the law, but just in the context of her speech, they’re saying. And sentenced to a year and a half prison time. She’s not in prison, it’s going through appeals process and that kind of thing.

Nevertheless, so this is how they have obviously interpreted my final speech, because the prosecutor was taking copious notes while I was talking. And she would have no reason to take copious notes while I was making my “last word”, if she didn’t have a reason for taking copious notes, and recharging me.

Brian: That sounds scary!

Monika: So it is bizarre! I mean, it’s like you go down this strange hole. I don’t know, people compare it to Alice in Wonderland, or something like that. But it is completely Kafkaesque, or Orwellian. I mean, the verdict comes first, then they do the trial. The sentence really comes first then they, … You know, the whole thing is just upside down! It’s inverted! The whole thing is inverted. So going back to, … Okay I went from prisoner to fugitive — I had to flee. And I did get indications from several sources. One was my lawyer. He was the first one to say:

“Look, don’t have a heart attack but you should leave as soon as possible.”

I did have to go back to get my violin. And I wasn’t going to leave without my violin. And that was still in the prison. So we did go back to the prison the next morning, on the Saturday, and all went well and smoothly there. I got the things out, but couldn’t get the money out, as I said. We’ll try to do that. But anyway, that’s not a big important thing right now. I had to leave, that was much more important. And I did get my violin, and that was really important! I was not going to go without that.

Brian: Yes people are wondering, what would have happened if like, … Frida was Alfred’s wife, I guess you were staying at your brother’s wife’s place. What would have happened if you stayed?

Monika: Well, we could have had a knock on the door, any time. They could have come on a Sunday afternoon, that doesn’t matter to them. So, I had to leave. And yeah, that was that.

Anyway, just speaking of everything being upside down and inverted, I have to say that after every single trial day, so the next day after trial days, when I would see my fellow prisoners, I would be jubilantly telling them how every day in court they are proving to us over and over again how the truth lies on our side! The truth and everything that is right, really. Like they are proving it over and over again to us how they are just defending lies! Because they’re behaving in bizarre ways in the court. And I can talk a little bit more about that in a moment.

But, what I found striking, was that at the very end, when the verdict was being given, … And there wasn’t all that much time after the my last word, though we had a recess for about 40 minutes, then were called back up into the into the courtroom to receive the verdict. And the verdict was 10 months for me, which I had already served, and 3 years to months for Alfred. So he’s going to be in there for a long time, plus he has more charges pending. So there’s a, …

Brian: Yeah, that’s so sad. That’s really heavy on our hearts, Alfred.

Monika: So, of course, it was mixed for me, you know, I’m being released right away, but, there’s my brother, he’s going in for a long run. So, of course, it was mixed for me. It was just extremely sad! But anyway, what the judge then said for the next 45 minutes, or so, he’s giving as his talk. I think it was maybe close to an hour. And he basically says that:

“Every single day we proved, over and over again, what haters we are!”

[loud laughing]

Brian: Oh! I’m sure he probably knows you’re telling the truth! Oh! It’s his job.

Monika: Well, I’d like to compare this judge, with the judge at the end of the Ernst Zündel trial in Germany. There was the Canadian, different court cases, but the one that happened in Germany which then subsequently landed him five more years in jail, after he had spent two years in solitary confinement in a Canadian jail.

But the judge at the end of that trial said something very interesting. And in this case, I would say that, yes, he knew exactly what the truth is. And the judge took a big chance saying this, really. I think it was quite a courageous thing to say, but he still did the wrong thing! But the judge said at that time said:

“You know, it doesn’t matter if the Holocaust happened, or not! It’s against the law in Germany to say it didn’t happen. And you broke the law!”

And five years in jail for breaking it, them, by the way.

Brian: Wow!

Monika: Ernst Zundel got the maximum, and he did not get let out, not even one day early, as my understanding of it. He sat to the very last day. And that’s very unusual. People get out usually on two-thirds, or whatever, especially if they’re well behaved. And my understanding of it was that Ernst Zündel was exemplary in his behavior in prison. The guards liked him. So anyway, that judge was quite different than this judge. This judge in our case basically just told us that:

“We proved every single day, what ‘haters’ we are!”

Which was the most bizarre thing I’ve ever heard! [loud laughing] And like I said, I was jubilantly telling my fellow prisoners, how:

“Every single day they’re proving how they’re just defending lies!”

They’re doing bizarre things. They’re not allowing evidence into court. They’re not allowing anything! Any of the request for proof, request for evidence, that we were submitting, that Alfred was submitting, or that I was submitting through my lawyer, or through his lawyer, or himself. They were just denying it! Just denying it, denying it!

“No! We don’t need that! We don’t need that!”

And they were also misinterpreting what was being requested, over and over, and over again. So it really was quite bizarre in that regard. [chuckling]

Brian: These German courts they don’t actually keep notes. Like in the Canadian courts there would be a stenographer writing everything down, but they don’t do that in German courts, right?

Monika: That was something that I absolutely, … It just took my breath away! I found that out on the first day. I’m looking around and I’m trying to figure out where’s the recording device. And I’m also looking around, where’s the stenographer? Where’s the person who’s busily typing away?

Because I’ve been in a Canadian courtroom and there’s an audio, they have a clock running when court is running, and you can see that there’s a recording being made. And they also have somebody typing away, typing away, typing away the whole time. And then they can compare the audio with the typed version. And then in that way afterwards, if you’re going in for an appeal, or whatever, you can get a transcript, or it’s just on the record! It’s on the record.

In the German court of law, it is not on the record! Nothing is being recorded! There’s no stenographer. It is very much like you’re going into a secret trial.

Also, I’ll tell you about that first day. You may, some of you, or some of the listeners, may have heard about this, because it was written about. There was a beautiful microphone system, so every everybody, like all the defendants lawyers, the prosecutors, the judges, everybody has a microphone in front of them. But you couldn’t turn them on! And people in the public gallery they were saying:

“We can’t hear it.”

Well the judge didn’t care about that. The judge would say:

“I don’t care!”

Like:

“Just shut up out there! We don’t want an interference from the public gallery.”

And this is going on, and I was protesting. I said:

“Why can’t we have the microphones? They’re here. Why can’t we have the system be turned on?”

Finally, I just stood up out of my chair and spoke. And this was kind of stepping out of line, because you kind of, you know, I just stood up and I just said:

“Look, is this a public, … Is this open to the public, or is it not open to the public? Is this trial a public thing, or not? , or is it a secret trial, behind closed doors? , because if nobody in the public can hear, then what my brother has been commenting about it being an ‘Inquisition’, or a ‘Muppet Show’, then he’s right! If they are there just for decoration, all the people in the public gallery, they can’t hear, and the judge does not care if they can hear, then it really is just for show! And this is just a show!”

And double that with the fact that nothing’s being recorded, nothing’s being written down, nothing’s being audio recorded, where are we? Like what is this? This is the darkest, darkest age that we’re in! This is in Germany, the country where Angela Merkel says:

“This is the freest country ever on German soil!”

We have the freest, you know, the best, whatever she has said, I don’t know the exact words. But that is what she says.

Brian: Well, free for migrants from Africa, I guess? Maybe that’s what she meant?

Monika: Yeah! I guess so. And then, just on this subject of sort of pseudo secret trial really, because all these things that I’m telling you about, makes you feel like it’s a secret trial. So on that subject, sometime later — it was a number of days later a different trial date — somebody stood up from the gallery — actually it was Sylvia Stolz — and said:

“You know, they have taken away our pens and paper.”

And so the judge said:

“Yeah. You can’t write along.”

You cannot, sort of write along with, taking notes, this would be okay, but you can’t write like, if people can do shorthand, or whatever. You can’t be doing that here. She says:

“Well they’ve taken away all of our pens and papers, so we can’t even take notes even on the breaks. We can’t even take notes from our memory on the breaks. What’s going on here?”

And the judge was just gonna go with that, but my lawyer stood up and made a complaint about this. And there’s a law to back him up, that you cannot do this. Finally, after a short recess, the judges — and there’s four judges, by the way, two of them are career judges, and two of them are lay judges, like here you would have jury, but there it’s not a jury. You call them “Schöffen”, and it’s lay judges. Just people from the public.

So anyway, these four judges they go and do their recess and they talk about these things, and then they come back and said:

“Okay, yep! You can have your paper and pen, but you cannot be, …”

I don’t know how you would say that. In German you say “mitschreiben”. So to write word-for-word, what’s going on. Well people can’t really keep up with that anyway. But yeah, so, …

Brian: I was getting notes from Lady Michele Renouf. She wasn’t there herself, but someone would come and relate the events and she would write it and have it published on the Barnes Review. So she was giving us a good sense of the pulse of the court, so we were really relying on her reports.

Monika: Yeah, that’s great., because after that, people could write and take notes again. But you see, that just shows you another element of how bizarre it was. You know, you’ve got the judges if they had their way, nobody could write, except for the press gallery. Now who’s in the front row of the public gallery, it’s the press people, and they ‘re taking notes. But are those our friends? Are they going to be reporting this with no bias? They’re with the mainstream media, so we kind of know what the mainstream media, how they report, it’s not exactly with no bias, right? [chuckling]

So that’s how things were going, but in the end, okay people were able to take notes and that’s what we, the world, had to count on that. But I know I had people write to me and say:

“Gee, it’s all gone quiet out there. We’re not hearing anything. What’s going on?”

And, I don’t know how easy it was for people to find these reports.

Brian: Yeah. I guess it was more of an email exchange to people that I know. I know that the National Post in Canada did a story. And the Ontario Civil Liberties Union spoke up for you and that was quoted in the National Post in Canada, but not much media coverage. Certainly not what it deserved.

Monika: Yeah, so anyway I’ll just check. I took some notes for myself to see what else I wanted to talk about. The fact that it was such a political case and the last word. So, you know, I had this notion that while I was in prison I was thinking, okay the local people in Jasper, how are they gonna respond to this? Surely, they must be thinking to themselves:

“Gee! I might not agree with what she’s saying, maybe she’s crazy, or whatever. I don’t agree with her, but put her in jail, just for that?”

I was thinking that this is how people would, you know, their thought process:

“Put her in jail just for speaking? Wow, maybe we should look into this?”

Like this is me thinking, [chuckling] maybe we should look into this and that they would discover alternative sources of information. And that they would discover that hey, you know:

“Gee! Maybe Monika is talking about some truth after all!”

But, when I first came back into this town, I’m telling you, I did not get that impression, not right off the bat, anyway. It was just like the hostility from a lot of the people here is such that I felt like:

“Hey! It’s gotten worse!”

They feel vindicated in their treatment, you know, the ritual defamation I was experiencing for a year and a half, before I went to Germany for this little visit — which got unceremoniously extended by the German government — it was meant to be just a visit over Christmas. And anyway, it’s like they were vindicated:

“Yeah look! She was thrown in jail! She must be a really bad person! We were right!” [chuckling]

Brian: Wasn’t ten months enough? You did 10 months, can’t they be nice to you now? They weren’t nice before.

Monika: Well, it’s funny. Some people talk about this thing of “forgiveness”, but I’m saying “forgiving” what? Like that notion itself, that’s still assuming that I did something wrong! I mean, some friends and acquaintances have said:

“Gee, why can’t people forgive you?”

Forgive me for what? You know, there’s still something wrong with that notion that I’m the one to be forgiven, when all I did is follow, … I reached different conclusions after I did some research about events, starting with 9/11, right? Waking up about what happened on 9/11. And these days, I think a lot of people are awake about what happened on 9/11. They might not know all the details of who did it, but they certainly are understanding that the official story is just a load of bunk!

And okay, so then I went further back and discovered that lying was not invented in 2001, right? Lying has been going on for a long time, and you kind of go down the rabbit hole. And many, many, many people have done that as well! Like, there is just so much good available research that has been done, that is available for us all to go down that road and learn for ourselves. The trouble is that we have this indoctrination that’s just been happening for so long, all our lives really, like it’s just a demoralization. People have become demoralized, and it’s very difficult for a lot of people to get out of that and to go down that road, and to open their eyes. And to admit that:

“Gee, all these things we’ve learned are wrong!”

Like that’s a really hard thing to go through. But once you go through it you never turn back. The truth will set you free! I really, truly believe that, and know it. Know it to be true, and I was saying that from prison, and I was writing it in some of the letters that I was writing. The truth will set you free! And I was saying that from behind bars. So I’m physically incarcerated, but I felt very, very free in all other aspects.

Brian: Yeah I was impressed with your letters. You sent me seven, and sometimes you’re so cheerful in your letters, you’re talking about you playing violin on Sunday, and everyone loved you, that I’m more miserable about you being in jail, than you were in jail! So you’re spirit is so strong Monika! You’re an inspiration to us all! And your letters, I really appreciated it.

Monika: Thank you Brian! I have to say, I mean, after the initial shock — and it really was a shock — but I felt like I was getting stronger with time, and getting more uplifted in my spirits as well. I did a lot of “spiritual” work, and, …

Brian: Yeah you wrote about that. We wrote back and forth about our sort of spiritual interpretation of life in that situation.

Monika: Yes. And also like, I didn’t waste my time in there. I used it well, I got into a — basically they give your daily structure with their schedule — but then I got into a good routine. The morning coffee water, the hot water would be delivered and I would always look forward to that, even though that was at six a.m. I was already up, usually by five. Maybe I’d already written a letter, so it felt good, then make myself a cup of coffee. I had a knitting project going at all times, so usually I’d relax and knit a bit. Then maybe write some more letters.

By 10 o’clock which is when “Hofgang” happened, the courtyard hour, I was really ready to get outside, do that. And I always went. And you would think that everybody would go, but that’s not the case, a lot of people didn’t always go outside, especially if there was inclement weather.

Brian: Tell us about that, like how big is the outside? What the prison looks like? I’m sure everyone’s wondering, like what was it’s like in jail? What’s it like in prison? How was the first week, and the first day, the second week? People want to know! What’s it like in prison, because most of us haven’t been there, you know? [Monika bursts out laughing]

Monika: Yeah well, the Women’s Prison at Städelheim, well they don’t actually call it the “Women’s Prison”, Städelheim, but everybody knows where Städelheim is. That’s the big “Men’s Prison”. It’s very, very old. But the Women’s prison is newer, so it is more modern. We had hot and cold running water in the cell, and that’s not the case for the men’s prison, like where Alfred is. There’s just cold water in a tiny sink. And, of course, Alfred, he at the beginning, only had access to the showers three times a week. But now it’s different, because he’s working, so he got moved into a different wing. And he’s working in the laundry, and then he does have daily access to the shower room, which is down the hall.

Brian: So what’s Alfred’s job in the laundry? I didn’t realize he’d be working in prison.

Monika: Yeah, so the laundry, all the prisoners clothes, like I wasn’t wearing my own clothing in prison. Sorry I wasn’t wearing my own clothing, so there are prison clothes. So you dabbed these laundry exchanges, you know, you go like certain days of the week you’d exchange your laundry for fresh laundry. And so it was being washed. And then you, I wore a skirt. You could either have jeans, or a skirt in the women’s, anyway. [chuckling]

And I preferred the skirt, because it always fit. The first eight weeks, or so, I would always have the pants and never could get a fitting pair. They’d either be too tight, or too loose, or too baggy, or the zipper was broken and I mean, it was just a “Gong Show” with the pants. So I went with the skirt, that was much better and more comfortable, and then, …

Brian: You are saying in defense of Alfred. He’s retired from IBM, he could do a better job than laundry, [words unclear] for them. [chuckling]

Monika: Well, in prison, I mean, there’s various jobs. I mean, maybe he’ll change his job over time, but he’s really happy to be working, because it gets him out of the cell more and in contact with people. Really that’s the main thing, otherwise he’s locked in his cell for most hours a day. And they had pretty severe conditions over at the men’s [prison]. In the woman’s also. I mean, we had a lot of hours of being locked in ourselves, basically 21 hours a day. So there’s the one hour that’s the courtyard hour, and then there’s an hour and a half in the afternoon where the cell doors were opened, just to the hallway.

You’d have access to the hallway. And down the hall there would be the shower room, there’d be a small kitchen. There was a small group like a room, you know, where you could hang out with others. But you didn’t have a lot of time, because there was always a lot to do in that hour and a half. Also at the beginning of that hour and a half they would come around with the food and you had to wait until that trolley came around, and sometimes they’d be 20 minutes late. So that cuts into your hour and a half. And so you get the food that would last you till the next day at lunch again. And the hot meal came just after the courtyard hour at eleven, or eleven fifteen. So, you know, that sounds early for the main meal a day, but for me, who was getting up at five in the morning that was perfect. The hot meal at midday, basically.

Brian: So your social time is out in the courtyard, where you’d meet and hang out with people. In the courtyard did you’d exercise? Was that a social time as well? What sort of exercise would you do?

Monika: Yeah. Well I definitely was trying to get as much exercise as I could. So when I first arrived it was winter, not a lot of people were going outside. And it’s basically people who do go outside, go round and round. And I don’t know if you ever heard about the dream that I had before my last night in freedom. I had a quite a profound dream. Which I didn’t realize until three days later what it was that I saw in my dream. But what I saw in my dream was the courtyard.

Brian: Wow! Tell the audience about that! Precognitive dream before any of this happened.

Monika: Yeah. It just completely floored me! I bolted upright! After my first full day in prison, the next morning, I was sort of in that half awake half asleep state, and I bolted upright in bed and realized what that dream had been representing., because in that dream, which I had had on the night of January 2nd to the 3rd, which was, you know, three days earlier, I was just walking in a circle, round and round, round and round, very, very slowly. All these people with their heads kind of slightly bowed. And there wasn’t anything around, no buildings. It was sort of like a desert. But I just thought it was very strange dream. In fact, it was so vivid that I talked about it at the breakfast table, and then, like I say, …

So my first day I got arrested I wasn’t in that jail yet, I was in a police cell. And the next day I go before a judge for a hearing, to see if they can keep me. I’ve read that in some emails that they thought, okay, well you’re only allowed to be kept for 24 hours. This is true, but then they can determine that they can keep you. So that’s when they determined, oh I’m a flight risk! And so they kept me.

I’m a flight risk, because I’m a Canadian, and I could just go home, right? Even though, well anyway, I’ll talk about that later. There were other hearings later on in March, and May again, to see if I could go and stay at my brother’s place. Give up my passport and make a daily trip to the police station. Say:

“Hi! I’m Monika. Here I am, and I’m not running away. I want to attend this trial.”

But that never worked out for me, either. And in both of those cases they predetermined the outcome too, it was just a formality to have these hearings. Just, because they have to do it. They have to go through these actions, or go through the motions. But they had reasons for keeping me which were absolutely bizarre. And I can tell you about that in a moment.

But I did want to just kind of finish. You had asked me about the courtyard hour. So in winter that’s how it was. Not very many people went out. I always went out and I tried to get exercise. I also exercised regularly in my cell and I kind of figured out a lot of exercises that you could do on the spot, because it’s a very small cell. In the beginning I was with people in a cell, and then, after about five weeks, I had a single, like my own cell. Anyway, so that’s how the days went.

Brian: But I was gonna, just to finish the dream. That’s amazing. So you didn’t realize the meaning of the dream until you actually saw the courtyard, and then you wake up the next morning and bang you realize:

“Oh the dream!”

And you put it all together?

Monika: Yes!

Brian: Tell us about the dream, because that’s that shows psychic precognition on your point. And that in itself is pretty interesting, pretty significant.

Monika: Yeah, it was like how does one explain that other than God? How does one explain that? It’s like, I had a dream in which I’m seeing something that’s gonna happen. It hasn’t happened yet. I don’t know how one explains that.

Brian: Well, it’s called “precognition”, that’s like your psychic. Your psychic! You know, precognition, yeah.

Monika: It’s a mystery. And I mean, I think that’s wonderful that there are mysteries in life. There was more to the dream, …

Brian: Tell us all about the dream. I want to get all, because this is really psychic! Talk about the dream and any other details.

Monika: In the dream, [laughing] so the size of the loop that people were walking was exactly the same size as the courtyard. You know, in sort of this image, it wasn’t tiny, it wasn’t huge, it was exactly the size of the courtyard. And half of the people were black and half of the people were White, in this dream. So again this is just a very strange dream that I told about at the breakfast table. Oh yeah, and then I was saying that the first night that I was arrested I was in a police cell. Then the second night I was in the jail. So that would have been the Thursday. Friday was my very first full day.

So that’s my first day that I experienced the “Hofgang”, the courtyard hour. And quite a few people who were outside that day — I didn’t realize that, but comparing it to what came later I realized that for some reason quite a few people were outside that day — but everybody’s just kind of walking in that circle.

That changed in the summer when the weather was nice. Everybody went out and hung out and just sat around in sunny spots and would socialize. But in the winter, if you went out you had to move otherwise you’d get cold. So people were just walking round and round. And I still didn’t clue into it. But Friday night, go to bed. Saturday would, just bolt upright in my bed and realize, that’s the dream! I saw the dream!

But this thing about half black, half White, that represents something different. When I got it got into the jail cell, we were half black, half White. So there were two that were from Africa that we couldn’t communicate, couldn’t speak the same language. And then myself and another European woman. And so that’s how I would interpret the half-black, half-white. It was how it was in the cell.

And on that note that how it was in the cells. Like you would think that when you go to jail in a particular country, and if you can speak the language of that country, well then you can communicate with everybody in the jail. Well not so in a German jail. Most people in the jail were foreign language speakers!

Brian: Oh! Sounds pretty lonely then?

Monika: Most, I would say, more than half. Like I didn’t do a formal study, [chuckling] but first of all there were lots of other European languages, but there were many people from Africa, as well. Some of them spoke English so I was fortunate and that I can speak English so I could communicate with quite a few of the people. If they didn’t speak German they might speak English. I could communicate in French, too, if need be, but there weren’t very many French-speaking people in the jail. So Spanish, and I used to speak Spanish.

It’s very, very rusty now. But I could do a little bit of communicating in Spanish. So, with these different languages that I have some degree of skill in, at least. German fluent, English fluent, French semi fluent, Spanish a little bit [chuckling] I could communicate with a lot of people. But, you know, if you’re in a cell and there’s people nattering away, nattering, nattering, nattering in another language, and you’re not understanding them, …

Brian: Oh, yeah.

Monika: Absolutely exhausting! It is emotionally draining and exhausting! Because it would be much better just to have complete quiet than to have this nattering going on in language that you cannot understand. It makes it very, very difficult, actually. And this is a problem for many, many, many people in the prison cells.

Now, there were single cells, and there were these group cells. The group cells are for four. In that prison four, sometimes we were five. They put an extra cot in, because they were very crowded. Once I got into my own cell, that was better. It was also shocking, because I went from being like over stimulated, we had “television wars”! I wanted peace and quiet, but they had the television on all the time, and it was most of the time in another language.

Brian: Oh man!

Monika: And it was very exhausting too. So I chose, when I did get into my single cell, not to have the television. Like there’s a screen in every cell, but it only gets turned on if you pay for it. Well, I never did that. I didn’t want it. So, …

Brian: You have to pay for it? These prisoners, some of them probably not a lot of money, have to pay to watch TV?

Monika: Oh my goodness, it was expensive too! It was 20 euros per month. That’s like $30 a month for it. And everybody, just about everybody, had it. Like just about everybody paid for it. And there’s so much absolute garbage on TV, and it’s just such a mind, I don’t know what you would call it. Just an indoctrination tool! So yeah, that’s the reality. But yeah, it was very expensive and a lot of people, you’re right, they don’t have money. Yeah.

But I wanted to talk, I just touched on these hearings that I went to in March and then again in May to see if I could get out of jail, to await the trial. Like not to go home. Like I realized, okay they want to put me through a trial. They’re charging me, … They haven’t even charged me at this point. At the next hearing in March. I didn’t know about it till the day before I went there. I wasn’t psyching up for getting out, at all. But all my friends there were psyching me up!

“Oh! You’ll get out for sure! Like if you go for this hearing in front of the judge, usually you get out!”

And then the judge herself — and this particular hearing took place over in the Men’s prison, it’s a large prison, so they’ve got facilities there and sometimes a judge comes there — so this woman judge, she was very, very friendly and listening to my lawyer, very attentively. And the guard who accompanied me was witnessing all this, and my lawyer was saying:

“She can go every day to the police station.”

And the judge was saying:

“Well, she wouldn’t even have to go every day. She could go every third day, or three times a week would be good enough.”

This kind of thing. So she was talking in a way that all indications were I would get out, with my passport being taken, and all that stuff, so that I couldn’t escape from Germany. And the guard also thought I was getting out. She witnessed all this, and on the way back, … But we weren’t gonna get the answer till the next day. The judge said:

“Okay, just the only thing I have to do is I have to talk with the prosecutor, and that’s it. But tomorrow you’ll get the fact, and, see you later.”

The guard on the way back, she said:

“Oh Monika, you can spend one more one more night in jail with us. It’ll be okay!”

Like, she was very friendly, very warm, and figured for sure I was leaving the next day. She said:

“You know, it’s not so bad. You can spend one more night with us.”

Sort of like that. Like a friend almost. Well, the next day I didn’t hear anything. And I had gotten so psyched from everybody giving me this encouragement, and I started to dream about, walking through the forest, and having beautiful conversations, and maybe a glass of wine. And being with my relatives, with my brother. And just I just started to psych myself up for that. But I didn’t hear anything the next day. And then second day after that, I just knew in my gut, I knew this isn’t gonna work out. I’m not getting out. And that was probably my hardest day in the whole time.

Brian: Oh, yeah! I remember you wrote that in your letter, how they would do this. It almost seemed like they’re deliberately doing this as a psychological game.

Monika: So, and by Saturday — like that took place on Wednesday, Thursday, I was supposed to get the answer Friday was that really rough day for me. I kind of knew in my gut — still didn’t get the official answer though. Didn’t hear anything. Saturday, I started putting my pictures back on my pin board, you know, like I had packed everything up — just in case I get out. Because you can’t go back in your cell if you get out. If they release you, they pack up your stuff. So I thought, I’ll pack up the pictures and stuff off of my wall and get everything organized, really organized! Like everything was in bags just ready to go.

Anyway, Saturday I put the pictures back on the wall. Sunday it’s a weekend, you don’t, you know, nothing happens. I think I got the answer on the Monday, or the Tuesday. And, of course, it was that I stay in jail.

Brian: Ohhh, …

Monika: Let me tell you, well I already knew that! So by that time I wasn’t surprised and I’d already gotten over it, right? But Friday was that really rough day. Probably the hardest day in the whole time. But one of the reasons they gave — and this is why I said, they make their decision first and then they go through the motions, whatever they have to do, go through the motions — but one of their reasons for keeping me in jail was that the “active letter exchanges” that I had with Gerhard Ittner.

Gerhard Ittner, he was a political prisoner as well. At that time he was not, he was free. And I had not had a single letter from him, nor had I written him. I didn’t have an address for him. There was not one letter going back and forth between him and me at that point! And this was written into the reasons for keeping me in jail! And for some reason this would, …

Brian: Maybe, because he wrote to you? You didn’t write him, he wrote to you?

Monika: Brian! Not a single letter exchanged from him to me, nor from me to him!

Brian: Oh, he didn’t even write to you, then?

Monika: No! They made it up! They made it up out of thin air! And him being a political type, that they don’t like, and they didn’t want this communication going on, … I guess what they’re doing is they’re being pre-emptive! They don’t want me to start a dialogue with him, which is what I might do, if I get out. I don’t know! They just made it up out of thin air! That I had this, like “aktiver Briefwechsel” which means, “active letter exchange”. So that’s more than one letter, that’s two, or three, or five, or ten letters, back and forth!

But there was not one! Not one! It was zero! [laughing] So, that was among “other reasons”. There you go, you get the verdict first. Isn’t that how it was in Alice in Wonderland? I don’t know, I don’t really remember that story, but that’s what, …

Brian: They just lie to you, accuse you of these letters. There were no letters. They just lie.

Monika: They just made it up! Made it out of thin air! And it’s written in black and White.

Okay, the next time that I went before a judge — this time I had to go right into the downtown Munich, to the courthouse to see the judge there — happens to be the same judge I believe that was then presiding over our whole trial. And again, another hearing to see if I could get out to await the trial and just be at my brother’s place. And at that time my brother was not in jail, either. I mean, this would have been really nice for me to just be able to hang out there with them. Go swimming in the lake, and [chuckling] go for a walk in the forest. These were things that I was craving!

Anyway, in that case the hearing went by quite quickly, asked a few questions and I answered as best could. A few days later I get the answer. And it was — this time I knew anyway that I wasn’t getting out. It was, I knew this time, I didn’t get myself psyched up to get out at all! I knew that they’ve already made their mind up that I’m staying in, but they have to go through the motions, because a certain amount of time goes by, they have to stay within their deadlines of how much time you can hold a prisoner, just hold the prisoner while nothing is going on.

And by this time charges had been laid, finally. That took about four months, actually. Didn’t get the charges till late April. So this was May I believe, this hearing. And in this case the reasons were almost longer than the whole hearing took. I would guess the hearing took ten minutes, and it took me way longer than ten minutes to read page after page of reasons! And in these reasons, there were things that, okay, it’s “unknown”, this is “unknown”, that is “unknown”, that is “unknown”. I thought:

“Oh! They could have asked me that! Why didn’t they ask me that?”

They just didn’t ask me! For example:

“It is unknown if the Schaefer siblings grew up together, or not.”

[laughing loudly]

So!

Brian: That’s nuts! You grew up in Alberta together, right?

Monika: No. In hindsight, I could see why they might question it, because Alfred currently lives in Germany, and I currently live in Canada, so maybe they didn’t even grow up together. Also, by coincidence, Alfred happens to have been born in Germany. Now my parents had already emigrated to Canada, there was an older brother who was born first, then they went back for six months to Germany. And during that time, Alfred was born there. But they were already landed immigrants and applying for citizenship and soon became Canadian citizens. Then they went back to Canada and had a few more children, and I was the fourth of five.

So okay, so they see that Alfred was born in Germany and they see Monika’s born in Canada, Alfred lives in Germany, Monika lives in Canada. I can see in hindsight that, okay maybe they have these doubts.

Brian: They could have asked you!

Monika: They could have asked. For me, it wouldn’t have occurred to me to volunteer this information, because it never occurred to me to doubt it, because that’s how it was! We grew up as a family together. Why would it occur to me to have to volunteer that information to the judge if he didn’t ask!

Brian: Of course!

Monika: So that’s just one example. And I can’t recall right now what all the other reasons were, but that one just stands out and, …

Brian: That’s infuriating! It’s insulting! Gee, I wonder if they don’t even ask! Just insulting to not ask that. And then to write that down as a reason.

Monika: But again, it just proves that they have their verdict before they go through the process. And that was with these hearings. That was only to decide if I stay in jail, or not, while we’re waiting for the trial. But the same thing in the trial. The whole trial, and like I said at the very beginning of this chat were having, everything’s inverted! So my perception of it was that they are proving every day, and maybe for another talk, another day, we could talk about what am I talking about, how they are proving every day that truth lies on our side and not on their side.

Brian: Yeah, we can do a series of videos on this. It’s such a big experience. This is the first video and I’d love to have you back, you know,

Monika: Yeah. But then at the end the judge portrays it exactly the opposite! And says:

“How we proved, over and over, every single day in court, what haters we were!”

[laughing] Like, what a concept! What a concept!

Brian: It’s turned upside down! It’s an American occupied government of Germany. Just turns reality on its head!

Monika: Yeah. An American occupied, but we all know who controls America! I mean, I think was it Netanyahu who said: “who controls America, …”, or was it Sharon, I can’t remember which.

Brian: Yeah, I think it’s Sharon says:

“People say, this, or that, but we control America!”

Monika: It was Sharon, exactly! Yeah that’s right. So, I don’t know how long we’ve been talking Brian?

Brian: Yes, almost an hour. Maybe we should wind down you must be getting tired here? I mean, but it’s a real honor for me to give me your first public appearance on my Brian Ruhe Show, about your experience. Because we’ve all been waiting for your story. So I really appreciate you being on the show Monika!

Monika: Thank you so much! I was just gonna check my notes to see if there was something else urgent for today. But I don’t really think so, and I mean, then we can do more talks, right? And I’m happy to talk to other people as well and [get] connected back in the world of internet and phone now. I lost you. I lost you Brian?

Brian: Yes, sorry I had my mic turned off for background noise. You’re gonna be more in demand now. You were doing a lot of videos before you’re arrested. Now that you’ve had the experience you’re gonna be quite popular, now. I just want to thank people in the chat here. There’s hundreds of comments here in the chat. Monika: Well again, I just want to say with how much I appreciate all the letters that I received, and correspondence. And also all the actions that people took to try to highlight what was going on, because again like I said at the very beginning it’s about all of us. It’s about our freedom! It’s about understanding the truth! This is a call for, basically if we don’t understand the truth of what’s going on, then we are becoming enslaved!

Brian: Yeah.

Monika: Becoming destroyed! This is like an emergency call to people, to wake up.

The people listening here, probably most of them are, but that we have to carry on this work for all of us to remain free! And one could talk about that, how we already very much enslaved. But the fact that we’re talking right now, right here, … I always still retain hope, and actually I’d like to just make this one more comment about what does give me hope.

It’s the fact that they are so scared of somebody like me! Oh my goodness! Like why are they so worried about something that I said in a video apologizing to my deceased mother, to my deceased parents, for having been wrong about how I used to think about these events of World War Two? And I had blamed them for not stopping all those horrors, and then I apologized later in life, just two years ago, and why are they so worried about that? Shows me that we do still have the ability to turn this around! We have to for our survival! Right? But if they had it all sewn up, and if they already got this all, they wouldn’t care about me, or you. They wouldn’t care!

Brian: Yeah! And now your voice is even more out there. I remember when you were released I was surprised. I thought they’re gonna to keep you for like a year. I was crying out of the phone, she’s released! I’d thought you would be in for a year!

Monika: Well, I’m very happy to be back home that’s for sure. I’m very sad that my brother’s in jail. But he himself, I can assure you, he maintains his positive and good spirits, I know that. One of the things about court, all the court days, it was just so nice to see him. That was really when I could see him. And we had a little bit of opportunity to talk as we were wandering up and down the stairways, and whatnot, to get to the courtroom and back. Anyway, we should probably wrap it up.

Brian: Well, I have to say:

“Welcome home Monika! Great to have you back!”

Monika: Thank you so much for doing this Brian. And I know we worked hard to get this connection. It took us over an hour to get this Google hangout connected. We did finally succeed!

“Well, it was sort of general knowledge.”

“Come on, you’re university educated. You know the scientific method. I mean, you have to prove things. Well, what was the proof?”

“Oh, well, it was generally known.”

“Okay, you thought that was the case. And you saw me every day in the English department office. Why didn’t you ever ask me? I mean, ‘is it true you’re a member of the Klan?’.”

“Oh, well, people were afraid of you.”

“Why was that? Did I ever threaten you?”

“No.”

“Did I ever threaten anybody else around the school?”

“Well, no.”

“Did I threaten the students?”

“Well, no.”

“So I said, nobody ever threatened you had this concern or belief, but you never asked me!”

“Honest to God, these people are disgusting!”

“Well, they could have just asked me that!”

“We will challenge that before the committee on the basis that the Magna Carta says that ‘justice shall not be bought or sold’.”

“Look, if I’m not allowed to have the transcript, if I have to pay for it and I can’t afford it, justice is being denied to me!”
