Was I Wrong About Woke Capital?
Sat, Jun 3, 2023
[In this video Endeavour reassesses his previous view that “Woke Capitalism” was motivated by profit in its support of various woke agendas and environmental issues. He now sees it being driven by a more Machiavellian drive for power and control over populations.

Video Version of a Substack Post
The following video was originally a Substack blog post, posted on May 11, 2023. I’ve also started to create exclusive content on Substack, so follow me there for more. The link will be down below.
Hello, Endeavour here. I first remember the phrase “Woke Capital” being used on the internet by the dissident Right around late 2018. The great once banned, now unbanned Twitter account under that handle was created in May of 2018. I don’t know if it was this user who coined the phrase, but it has become one of the most potent weapons in the dissident Right’s memetic Arsenal.
The “woke”, as they’ve become known, present themselves as the defenders of the oppressed and downtrodden racial and sexual victim groups of society against the alleged straight White male power structure, championing causes like racial egalitarianism, feminism, and LGBT rights.
Wokism as Top-Down Social Engineering
This facade of victimhood and rebellion quickly fades away when exposed to the fact that billions upon billions of dollars are put into pushing these causes by the likes of BlackRock and Goldman Sachs each year. And that the entire international media is dedicated to upholding the narratives that they are founded upon. When viewed in this light, wokism appears not as a righteous crusade for social justice, but as top down social engineering being forced upon western society by the elite class, which is exactly what it is.
There is no better indication of this reality than the now annual tradition of corporations replacing their logos with the LGBT rainbow themed versions on social media in the month of June each year. I first considered making a video on the phenomenon of woke capital in June 2019 to coincide with that year’s over the top and ridiculous offerings corporations devoted to LGBT pride month. But I never got around to it for some reason.
I finally decided that the time was right when the phenomenon of woke capital reached it’s zenith, at least so far. In the summer of 2020, after the death of drug addict and convicted felon now elevated to progressive sainthood, George Floyd.
The Base and Superstructure of Woke Capitalism
I published what is, to date, my most popular video by far titled “The Base and Superstructure of Woke Capitalism” on July 9, 2020, after a month of BLM riots raging across the United States, spilling over into the rest of the Western world.
The most shocking thing about those few months in 2020 was not the widespread lawlessness, but the degree to which all institutions in the Western world not only enabled but encouraged it. The United States experienced the most flagrant violations of rule of law ever seen in a western country during the summer of Floyd. Rioters, destroyed property and assaulted ordinary citizens, while law enforcement either stood by doing nothing or in some cases, arrested victims for defending themselves. It was the truest and most extreme manifestation of anarcho-tyranny I’ve ever seen.
[02:59]
What’s more is that every single major corporation responded to this calamity by donating millions, or in some cases, billions of dollars towards BLM and the so-called Cause of Anti-racism. This was the context in which I made what would become my most viewed video. In it, I tried to explain why it is that corporations support woke politics so relentlessly. The conclusion I came to in that video was that their motivation was primarily financial. That they wanted to create a soulless, deracinated global consumer class whose entire being would be devoted to consumption.
The False Assumption That Corporations Push Wokism for Money
The assumption I was operating under was that the goal of corporations is to make money.
Therefore, they must be pushing wokism as a means of increasing their potential to make money.
Looking back three years later, I no longer think this is the case. Instead, I think there’s something else behind the phenomenon of woke capital which is even darker. To give even more context for why I thought this at the time, but no longer do I need to address an even bigger international news story which preceded the summer of Floyd and long outlasted it.
The Pandemic Era
The Pandemic! By that point, the Pandemic era had begun a few months prior, but we really didn’t get a full understanding of the true implications of it until a year later. I’m not going to rehash the whole two years of the Pandemic for the purposes of this video. I will say that it led me down rabbit holes, which brought me to the conclusion that profit is not the main driving force behind woke capitalism, as I theorized in my video on the subject in 2021.
First of all, one thing that the Pandemic showed us is that the elites don’t actually care about the economy at all! They were all too enthusiastic to devastate the economy, even after it was clear that the restrictions would bring far more harm than good.
Now, I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention that for many there was a huge financial incentive for advocating the Pandemic tyranny, namely among the pharmaceutical companies and the corporations which thrive off the further atomization of society, such as big tech, online shopping, et cetera.
However, the Pandemic in effect was a wealth transfer, as it made the vast majority of people a lot poorer and resulted in the ongoing cost of living crisis. It didn’t grow the economy, but rather it transferred huge sums of money from the bottom and the middle to the top. Most people’s capacity to spend on consumer products has been greatly reduced from what it was in 2019. So furthering, consumerism was not the goal of everything done from 2020 to 2022.
The Real Driving Force Behind Woke Capital
What was really achieved during that period is in line with what I now consider to be the real driving force behind woke capital. Moving on from the Pandemic, the past three years have made me a lot more conscious of the Climate Change and Sustainable Development agendas. The phrases “The Great Reset” and “Build Back Better” were first heard during 2020. They fell out of use a year or two later, when they were no longer useful for the regime’s messaging. But what they were essentially referring to is Agenda 2030, or the UN Sustainable Development Goals, for which wokism is baked into the cake along with the environmental policies.
[06:02]
The Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance Rating System, or ESG
Another force I only became conscious of in the past few years, which is intertwined with all of this, is the Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance Rating System, or ESG. This is essentially a Social Credit system which rates corporations to determine how worthy they are of investment or not. The social criteria for ESG are essentially how woke a corporation is. The more woke they are, the higher their rating. The environmental criteria are mostly related to the climate agenda and how devoted they are to achieving the allotted goal of Net Zero carbon emissions.
Wokism and the Climate Agenda Linked
ESG has existed since 2006, but it became a lot more prominent when BlackRock announced in 2020 that ESG would be taken into consideration for all their future investments. There is a large overlap between ESG and the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and an effort is being made to bring the two fully in line.
So there is a clear link between the driving forces behind the climate agenda and the woke agenda. This is reflected by the establishment stooges who promote both of these. Take Justin Trudeau, for example. As often as he is sure to denounce Canada’s history of racism, sexism and homophobia, he is just as sure to proclaim his government’s devotion to fighting climate change.
I’ve been acutely aware of anti-White policies such as mass immigration, affirmative action, et cetera for almost a decade now. But I largely ignored the environmental policies being advocated by the same individuals and institutions, seeing them as a lot less relevant than the very real threat the aforementioned policies posed.
It’s only within the last two or three years that I’ve started to consider the latter of equal importance. And the two as inseparable, as I now see the two agendas as inextricably linked, I’ve come to the conclusion that profit and consumerism are most certainly not the motivation behind woke capital. If there is one thing the climate agenda is definitely not designed to do, it’s to facilitate consumerism.
Ending the Consumer Society
On the contrary, it appears that the purpose is to put an end to the consumer society neoliberal capitalism has created. The policies being proposed will kneecap massive industries, such as the agricultural industry, the tourism industry, the automotive industry and more.
And then there’s the ludicrous and dystopian prospect of the introduction of a Carbon Credit score, which I made a video about recently. Such a system would severely limit the average person’s ability to consume by design C and reduce their incentives to produce as. It could also act as a kind of UBI [Universal Basic Income]. This would be a radical departure from the neoliberal capitalism of the past few decades.
[08:34]
TOC 19
So where does Wokism fit into all of this? If the two are so deeply connected, and if profit isn’t the goal, then what really is? It is now my opinion that the phenomenon of woke capital and it’s symbiotic relationship with the sustainable development agenda are primarily motivated by control. Ultimately, Wokism is creating a more dysfunctional society. It is facilitating the importation of a class of people accustomed to a lower standard of living into Western countries via mass immigration, deracinating and atomizing the population through multiculturalism, destroying the family unit through feminism and the LGBT agenda, and reducing overall competency via affirmative action.
Creating a New Class of Dependent People
In short, it’s creating a new class of people who won’t be able to do anything about the drastic fall in quality of life in the West, or the tyrannical system of control the elites have in mind. The easiest person to control is someone with no agency of their own, someone who is sick, incompetent, lazy, and without an ounce of will.
Not only would such a person not resist the system, they would defend it to the end, as it is their sole source of both status and sustenance. This is the kind of person being created by woke capital.
“Go Woke, Go Broke” Hasn’t Really Happened
If nothing else, the last three years have taught me that the elites are not primarily motivated by money, but by power. By definition, someone in the elite is wealthy. They already can afford any material goods they would ever want. When you become that wealthy, what becomes a lot more valuable to you is not further profit, but expanding your own power and influence. And that does a lot to explain the phenomenon of wokism throughout every elite Western institution. I do not subscribe to the theory of “go woke, go broke”. Every Fortune 500 company has gone woke at this point, and none of them have gone broke as a result.
However, going woke certainly doesn’t make these companies more profitable. They do lose money as a result, though never enough to go broke. But they gain power by furthering the broader degradation of a healthy society, which they are more than happy to spend the extra money on. This is perfectly exemplified by ESG. This year, there has been a backlash against ESG in the corporate world for the simple fact that ESG is not profitable. One reason is that it rewards companies for hiring people based on their identity, not being White, straight or male, rather than their actual merit.
Another is that ESG forces companies to heavily politicize their brands. We’ve seen the recent boycotts against Target and Budweiser for their campaigns promoting transgenderism. While I don’t think they will necessarily go bankrupt as a result, it’s the first time that the backlash against a major corporation going woke has bitten hard and caused them to backtrack greatly.
Then there is the environmental pillar of ESG. It forces companies to reduce their net carbon output, which means spending extra money on buying carbon credits from smaller companies. While it is presented as a guide to ethical investing, the real function of ESG is that it funnels investment to a small number of large corporations who have the excess capital to spend on being ESG sufficient, and denies funding to smaller firms who simply cannot afford to be so wasteful. This doesn’t necessarily make larger corporations more profitable, but it makes them a lot more powerful by crushing opposition.
[11:53]
Woke Capital Achieving Ideological Ends Among Elites of (((Levantine))) Ancestry
Now, in my original video, and so far in this video, I framed Woke capital as a purely Machiavellian force for attaining more power. I’ve thus far failed to address another major driving force behind woke capital. That is, genuine belief among the elite and the causes which they profess to support. While I don’t think this is the case for every billionaire out there, there are a sizable number who genuinely believe that wokism is making the world a better place. The cause for them is not simply about power, but also about achieving some kind of ideological ends. A prominent example of this is the ethnic identity among elites of (((Levantine))) ancestry.
The role which this ethnic group has played in the movements which would later come to be known as “Woke” throughout the 20th century and into the 21st century has been well documented on the dissident Right. Their support for mass non-White immigration into Western countries, multiculturalism feminism, the LGBT movement, et cetera, has often been motivated by a desire to dismantle White rule of Western countries, which they see as in conflict with their own ethnic interests.
For White Gentile Elites, Some Motivated by a Universalist Egalitarian Worldview
Among White gentile elites, support for woke causes is often motivated by a universalist egalitarian worldview. For them, Wokism is a moral crusade against the ultimate evils of racism, sexism, and homophobia. I suppose you could add climate change to that list as well. While this worldview was primarily developed by intellectuals of the previously mentioned group during the 20th century with their own ethnic interests in mind, it has been hegemonic throughout cultural and intellectual life in the West for decades now. The entire current ruling class of elites in the West has been raised and educated in it. As a result, many de-enthnocized White elites have internalized this worldview, minus the particularisms for that other group, and genuinely believe it is a noble cause.
Lastly, there’s the newer but rising phenomenon of non-White elites in the West, primarily from south and Southeast Asia. For them, woke politics often serve their ethnic interests too, but in a much more upfront and less deceptive manner. Whether deeply held principles or Machiavellian pursuit of power is the main driving force behind woke capital is debatable.
Personally, I think the two feed off of each other. One can start from a point of sincerely held beliefs and justify their actions through ruthless Machiavellianism, or they can start off as power hungry opportunists who eventually begin to believe their own lies. But either way, I do not believe that their goal is the furtherance of the consumer society which we’ve become accustomed to over the past several decades.
Instead, the current trend suggests that their goal is to replace it with something else. I’d even dispute the title of my original video, which I called “Woke Capitalism”.
[14:39]
The Word “Capitalism” Has Lost All Meaning
Now, the word “capitalism” has lost all meaning over the past century. It’s gotten to the point where self proclaimed anarcho-communists are the foot soldiers of BlackRock while claiming to be fighting capitalism.
However, if we take it to mean neoliberal consumerism, wokism is certainly not designed to maintain that you might have heard Klaus Schwab use the phrase “stakeholder capitalism”, which he advocates in opposition to “shareholder capitalism”. According to Schwab and the like, shareholder capitalism is motivated by maximizing profit for the shareholders, while stakeholder capitalism is designed to advance the interests of all stakeholders, which they consider Wokism to be part of stakeholder capitalism is woke capitalism, which is no longer primarily motivated by profit.
The Goal is to Impoverish the West
As we can see in East Asia, consumerism can exist within a homogeneous society without importing the Third World or demonizing the dominant ethnic group. While nihilism and materialism are prerequisites, the full scale cultural iconoclasm of Wokism isn’t. When you zoom out and look at the broader narratives of Wokism in combination with the climate agenda on a global scale, along with the actual policies being passed, it appears that the goal is to impoverish the West in order to bring it down to the level of the rest of the world. The cash cow of neoliberal capitalism might end, but those at the top are already so wealthy that they aren’t motivated by further profit, but by the potential for absolute and permanent control on a global scale. If what they’re planning actually works, that is. But that’s a topic for another day.

What is the primary motivator of a population that can take subsistence, i.e., food, shelter, etc., for granted? It is status. It is the next tier in Maslow’s hierarchy after all. If true, then you should assume that all corporate executives are actually pursuing status rather than anything else. Even money is just a means to increase their status.
Wokism is not just a political ideology–it is the premier contender for arguably the first true global mythos and highly ambitious, non-religious people are precisely the type to adapt to whichever way the wind blowing, which is almost a prerequisite trait beyond a given tier of ambition within the system.
Wokism completely dominates the incentive structures in the west.
Highly ambitious people are very useful when society is healthy, but very dangerous when society is ill.

Yes, the subversion of morality is behind all of this. As Melanie Phillips recently said, “education has been the problem because it was turned from being the transmission of a culture down through the generations into the overturning of a culture on the basis that the culture was illegitimate, racist, colonialist and all rest of it”. There’s no point in blaming captured institutions at the endpoint of the long march.

While this is true, I don’t think that money is completely not a factor for them. As Black Horse said on a stream with RadLib, another reason why companies are going woke besides ESG is to “fire” a certain customer base and replace it with one that is earning more money and has more money to spend on their products. But this also comes back to power as well because firing the low income consumer base further stratifies the growing gap between the “elite” class and the lower class, giving people who share the same woke ideals even more power.

It’s a two edged sword, the companies have to go after ESG to keep funded for operating and CAPEX loans, etc most companies are hooked on low interest loans over past 15 yrs, and even if sales go down, it likely wont go down as much as the cost of losing funding, at the same time, the wokeness causes the same company to be torn apart by boycott’s and it being removed from the cultural landscape of the left’s enemies (Budweiser, Harley Davidson Chik-fil-a, disney etc.). Same as the shoplifitng, its meant as a way to have stores swap out displays to compliant with digital ID (all locked away) without tipping the masses off thats why theyre doing it…always a double edge to their actions.

This is why every traditional society sought to control their merchant class through the warrior caste and priest caste. It benefits the richer merchants to have an unstable and unhealthy society that will latch on to them for protect of their material wellbeing. The west only lasted this long after giving so much power to the merchant class due to competition since the former western aristocracy became part of the bourgeois and entered the competition. That competition no longer exists especially after the advent of big government and inflation based economic policy.

Sorry mate, but it’s the same here in Latin America.
For example and in regards to the alphabet stuff, Alberto Fernández (president of Argentina) is the ‘proud’ father to a literal drag-queen son and Cristina Kirchner (the current vice-president and former president) has a feminist advocate lesbian ex-daughter in law.
All the woke stuff you have in the developed countries (climate, gender, migration, and everything else) is well and alive in the third world (albeit in a way more grotesque fashion). Even regions thought to be shielded are getting a crash course (Africa and the islamic world), no matter the convulsions and temporary pushbacks those traditional structures try to play.
Countries with no racial, religious or historical divisions will inevitably fall into other dichotomies (real or fabricated, it doesn’t matter at all); only for the current process of power grabbing and societal decline to proceed.
The relentless de-racination, atomization and mongrelization of ever increasingly impoverished and hopeless societies across the globe (both western and eastern, both northern and southern) is a bleak reality that should be taken into account when proposing and implementing effective alternatives to the current predicaments of nations.

@mauroalexisfernandez2357 That’s also a good point. Even ethnically homogeneous nations can be divided along other arbitrary lines, like class. Dialectical thinking is a destroyer

@andrewkennedy9704 That’s still happening in Mexico. I don’t know exactly what’s really happening as I haven’t talked to actual right wing Mexicans living there, much less dissident right wingers, but I heard that anti-discrimination laws, including “discriminating language”, exist. Progressivism is also spreading even at the federal level.
Back in 2019 or 2021, when celebrating either an anniversary of the Spanish conquest of Mexico or Mexican Independence (I can’t remember which one but the Lotus Eaters covered it), AMLO demanded, not asked, that Spain apologize for the horrific colonization on the Mexicans and Spain rightfully denied it.

@mauroalexisfernandez2357 I was about to point out the issue with Latin America but both of your examples are “white” Latin American countries. Do you have non-white examples such as Mexico or Peru?

Christianity is their most powerful instrument. They wouldn’t get rid of it

@1685Violin In those cases, it largely depends if you consider the rural or urban divide in those countries (urban areas are full on board and in overdrive but rural areas are catching up, mainly thanks to NGOs and transnational initiatives).
Maybe, the only exceptions i could think of right now, funnily enough are Cuba and El Salvador. Both very ideologically different on economic matters but very socially conservative (Cuba has a soviet-esque morality with some Catholic and Caribbean weirdness to that mix; while El Salvador has a more Libertarian Strong man vibe whith Bukele, despite the bitcoin craze that flooded the country with dubious people such as <<>>).
P.D.: Is using <<<>>>> instead of ((()))) anti-levantine or not? Lol

Its alive throughout the world even in Muslim countries but in slower pace than west because the subversion is only starting in these counties like it did in the west in the 60s

No, you only see it that way because Christianity is all you feel comfortable defending and advocating for.

@geomancer6894 Ok, but I couldn’t I just reverse this line of reasoning against your own values/beliefs? Both Christianity and Pro-White politics are extremely taboo to advocate for; genuine Christianity, imo, is the most taboo.

As a normal gay who just wants to be left alone, I sincerely apologize that these degenerates won’t afford you the same right. I hate this pride thing. It makes it understandable to me why some people hate me.

And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 2 Thessalonians 2:8-10

When the state is going to bail you out when you fuck up you loose all incentive to do the efficient/profitable thing. Our economy in the current day isn’t capitalistic.

Capitalism is about as real as global warming. How can you have capitalism when capital accumulation is systematically punished by the inflation of an ever expanding money supply? Money is only ever created as debt so more debt means more money and the debt can never be payed down becouse if it would be payed down there would be no money to transact in. This is why corporations care more about ESG than profit becouse it effects they’re credit rating. The fresh debt that the corporations then have on they’re balance sheets is inflated away over time so its not a problem. Google: BCNSDODNS for more info.

I agree. It is impossible to have ‘real’ capitalism with a fiat currency standard. I don’t think America has had a system even approaching anything like ‘real’ capitalism since the 1800s.

@randyjones3050 I’ve been saying for years we’re not capitalist. We have the veneer of capitalism but are a mix of Keynesianism and corporate controlled communism
