When Rishi Sunak called a general election, it was a shock to almost everyone, even to a number of his own MPs – who were understandably up in arms that the Prime Minister thrust their party into an election when they were 18 to 20 points behind in the polls. Such an act would seem like political suicide – especially when the Prime Minister has the privilege of determining the date of the election. Surely Sunak could have waited – they had until January of next year, and things may have got better. They could have closed that gap; they could have had a fighting chance.

But Sunak went for it and called an election, at what seemed like the worst possible time from the point of view of many Conservative MPs. This can be seen not just by the wailing and moaning, but by the fact a record number of Ministers, former Ministers and MPs have all decide to step down rather than face humiliation whilst trying to defend their seat – better to jump than be pushed I suppose.

So why did Sunak take this route? Well, one could surmise that Sunak thought that rather than getting better, things could only get worse, and he wanted to call the election before the situation deteriorated further. One could surmise that Sunak has given up and that he simply can’t be bothered anymore. That this is his way out, as he would rather go and live in America with his billionaire wife.

And if you believe that Parliamentary politics is all just theatre, then one could also speculate that Sunak is trying to hand the Labour Party victory – that this is all a plot to hand Keir Starmer a record majority, the kind enjoyed by Thatcher and Blair. And we will come back to that later.

However, if the plan was to call an election early before things got worse in order to save the Conservative Party from complete collapse, that plan now lies in total ruin.

As earlier this week, Nigel Farage announced his return to politics, he has taken control of The Reform Party, he is standing as a Parliamentary candidate and he is leading Reform into a full-on political war with the Conservatives.

And this will be of huge significance, as it is likely to have a major effect on the composition of the next Parliament – and that’s not because Reform is likely to win many, if any seats. I am not expecting nor predicting a political revolution. I am not expecting Farage to end up in Parliament. He may do, but even if he did, he would lead an isolated and tiny block of maybe two or three MPs.

And it’s worth noting, that even at its height, Reform’s predecessor UKIP never won a single Parliamentary seat. They did have two MPs, but both were down to defections, not in their entire history did UKIP see any of their candidates elected to Parliament under their own steam.

In fact, at UKIP’s height, they took 12.6 per cent of the national vote – that’s nearly 3.9 million votes. For that, they won exactly ZERO new seats! They went into the election with ONE MP, Douglas Carswell, a former Tory who had crossed the floor, and they came out of it with ONE MP, Douglas Carswell, who later quit the party.

So, if Reform aren’t going to be getting large numbers of MPs elected, why am I saying that they will have such a major effect on the composition of the next Parliament? That’s because Reform is all set to DESTROY the Conservative Party. And ironically, this is possible for the very same reason that UKIP managed to take nearly 4 million votes, yet only returned one MP to Parliament. And that is, because the UK system of First Past the Post elections is fundamentally broken!

And it’s broken by design, in order to ensure that small parties are locked out, so that power can be concentrated in a way that produces a two-party system. Because fundamentally, a two-party system is easy to control, whilst at the same time, giving the illusion of choice.

But there is a quirk to this electoral system, one that allows a smaller party to go on a sort of kamikaze attack against one of the two major parties. This small party knows it isn’t going to win, they know they are unlikely to get any MPs elected, but they also know that if they stand candidates in marginal constituencies and campaign on the right issues, they can take just enough votes away from one of the major parties to ensure that said major party loses in every marginal battle in the country. In effect, this allows a small party to decimate one of the two main parties and decisively swing the entire election.

And this is exactly what I believe Nigel Farage is doing. It is highly unlikely that Reform will win any seats, it is unlikely that Farage himself will get elected. I mean, he might, he is now a celebrity candidate that a large section of the population adores. But looking at historical precedent, it remains unlikely.

But by returning to the political battle ground, and by taking the battle to the Conservative Party on the issue of immigration in marginal constituencies, Farage can effectively sink the Conservative Party! And not just for this electoral cycle, not just for a decade or so, but maybe, just maybe, he can deliver the finishing blow and destroy the Tory Party once and for all!

You see, the Conservatives are already polling at an all-time low, they have been on a terrible streak of by-election losses, they have suffered a number of defections and the party has been reduced to squabbling rabble that has failed to implement any of the policies they were elected to put in place.

Immigration is a particular sore point for many, with the repeated promises of net migration in the tens of thousands being forgotten and the reality of the matter being that both legal and illegal migration are at all-time highs resulting in over a million migrants arriving in Britain each year.

This means that the Conservative vote would have been naturally depressed. But with Farage leading Reform, and immigration being the top of their agenda, a significant number of remaining Conservative voters will no doubt switch their vote to Reform.

And in reality, if Reform manage to take just five to ten per cent of the Conservative vote, that is all they will need in order to ensure dozens, maybe even hundreds, of Tory MPs will lose their seats.

This will obviously have two effects.

The first is that the Tory Party will go from the Party of Government to possibly not even being the official opposition, with some pollsters predicting they could be reduced to fewer than 30 MPs and be eclipsed by the Lib Dems or the Scottish National Party. And this could spell the end of the Tory Party as an electoral force.

However, the second effect is less of a reason for celebration – and it’s something I touched on earlier. With the annihilation of the Conservative Party comes the prospect of Labour winning somewhere between 500 and 550 of the 650 seats in Parliament, granting Keir Starmer a record majority.

The kind of majority that could easily pass any draconian new policy, place any number of restrictions on our freedoms, outlaw political opposition and even take us to war with ease! With a Parliamentary majority like that, Labour would be an unstoppable juggernaut, something that is a terrifying prospect!

But could this really happen? Is there an example of a party being completely destroyed in this way?

Well, the answer is YES! In Canada, the 1993 Federal Elections saw the ruling Conservative Party going into the election with 156 seats and emerging from that election with just two. This effectively destroyed the party and caused a realignment in Canadian politics.

Could this happen here? Absolutely!

And this is in part good news, as the destruction of the Conservative Party is long overdue and something I would definitely celebrate.

However, that celebration may not last long, as Keir Starmer’s reign may well make The Times of Blair, Cameron and even Sunak look like times of plentiful bliss.

Whatever happens though, it appears that Nigel Farage may well be the man who again, changes UK politics forever. The man who was ultimately responsible for Brexit is now on the cusp of destroying Britain’s oldest and best-established party.

This is why the right loses, idiots like you fixate on the slight differences, you’ll never find a popular party with the exact policies you want, that is rather unrealistic. Reform is the closest thing you will get in the UK to what you want for atleast the next few decades, but if you want to be an autistic child and focus on differences go ahead, keep getting labour and conservative switching hats.

I’m not here to act as an echo chamber for your opinion Mr Collett. I know these Brinoists far better than you and as the leader of StrongerOUT, I fought all of them. In fact, fake Farage and his groupies, effectively UKIP rejects, were our worst enemy, they openly backed Remainers like Theresa May and opposed our RepealEULaw campaign. I came to the conclusion many years ago that Farage was just an Establishment shill and his conduct between 24 June 2016 and late May 2019, proved that beyond doubt. In July 2022, he boasted on GB ‘News’ that he had put Boris Johnson in power, only to backtrack the following month in an interview with the Daily Torygraph. If you actually understood the significance of the transposition of EU law, you would realise this is where the great betrayal on Brexit began and Farage was centrifugal to the betrayal, having backed Theresa May. As for his plan now, always the self-obsessed route of self-empowerment, is to take over what’s left of the Tory Party after the GE24. I dare say the conman could achieve this but any old wildcard could stop it but like you, I would like to see the Tories dismantled but it won’t happen because the fake ‘Reformers’ are all Tories, Thatcherite in fact on economic matters. The blending of ‘Reform’ and the official Tories after the GE is a foregone conclusion I think but we’ll see, there’s always a wildcard factor in every aspect of life. That said, please stop praising fake Farage for ‘Brexit’, it does NOT exist, only Brino does and that’s why I divide Leave voters into Brexiteers and Brinoists and Farage leads the latter not the former. In closing, if you assess the EUref vote for Leave compared to his high watermark polling in May 2019, it reveals fewer than 30% of Leave voters actually supported Farage and this will be the case again on 4 July, although I feel the support base will drop to around 22% of the total Leave vote at the EUref. Farage and his clowns are impotent against my detailed knowledge.

There’s no hope for saving ‘Britain’ under ‘Reform’ nothing in the UK full stop, they’re all ZioGrifters, wholly committed to mass immigration – 450,000 a year maximum – and they support the diversity delusion. ‘Reform’ is another safety valve operation to stall the rise of nationalism, in effect a UKIP 2.0

Precedent would dictate that Farage not getting elected is the likeliest outcome, but I think it’s different this time. Even if the Tories cheat again, enough Tory and Labour voters will defect to Reform to give Farage a good chance.

Unfortunately, Canada ended up being the Western country with the least amount of resistance to “globalists”, there’s even been more pushback in Sweden. An argument can be made that Canada was the first western country to fall (I’m “Canadian” myself). I hope the UK gets a nationalist realignment after the election with a nationalist political party that can defeat labour, because the labour party is pure evil.

My vision:
1) Get a tenner down on a hung parliament
2) Galloway is actively promoting this
3) Galloway calls for Proportional Representation (as does Farage), withdrawal from NATO, no poisonous sex education, and rejects the New Left. He’s standing 326 prospective MPs.
4) He will win Rochdale
5) Workers Party will win a few seats
6) So will Reform.
7) Lib-Dems will win a lot, but not enough to win
8) Reform will also win the Red Wall that got Boris Johnson a huge mandate, thus perturbing Labour.
9) Galloway said he’ll work with Farage if it’s a bargaining chip. 1st demand: PR
10) Labour will not have an easy victory. They are suffering huge electoral loss already over Palestine, pro-war positions, sacking members. This “landslide for Labour” narrative is the same old Deep-State gerrymandering we saw for Clinton vs Trump.
11) Galloway/Farage for the win.
12) The majority of voters are White. Let’s see how sacrosanct oh-so beloved tribe fare and vote. WW3 approaching, mass industrialisation of death in Ukraine and Palestine, and the economy and living standards at rock bottom, and all the other ills, etc etc… Now, people, if our tribe are not going to vote against that, what will they vote against? They will be too-far gone and a waste of time. It will be evidenced that we need a change of direction.
