James Costello: Our final speaker has over 20 years of experience as an activist and leader in the cause for our salvation. We first saw his youthful face on the telly as the leader of the young BNP. We were rooting for him. Later, he become the British national Party’s head of publicity, the author of The Fall of Western Man, host of Patriotic Weekly Review, regular guest on the David Duke show.

 

He produces a weekly podcast. He hosts a monthly book club. Does this fella ever have a day off? Bloody hell! He’s an inspiration to so many thanks to his tireless work. He’s the man who made all of this possible.

 

But as I say to all I speak to, the quality I like best is that he has a good heart!

Mark Collett: Well, thank you for such a warm welcome. And thank you for such kind words.

 

Now, the first thing I have to say is I hope everyone has had a wonderful day. And from my perspective, I think it’s fair to say that this conference has been absolutely amazing! It’s been a wonderful day.

Not only did we sell more tickets to this event than we did to either of our events last year, and this is no disrespect to people who have spoken at PA conferences in the past, but I think the lineup of speakers today has been truly incredible! And following such speakers is no easy task. This has been something truly special! Which at this point, I can only say all reports of our demise have been greatly over exaggerated!

Now when I get up to speak at this kind of event, I’m usually expected to speak about one of two things. It’s either strategy going forward, or how great the year has been. And it has been a good year, a really good year!

 

However, there was no way I was going to come up here today after these guys and simply list achievements at you from a big roll. That wasn’t going to happen. Not least because most of the people in this room were either part of those achievements. You all played a part in making this happen. And you will also have watched or have read all of our monthly updates, our weekly bulletins, and pretty much you will have known exactly what we’ve done since the last time we held a conference.

 

So I thought, what can I speak about today?

 

And I thought, I’m going to get up here today and talk about the one single topic that most people would think that I would never dare to address in a public speech! Especially a public speech that followed such an incredible day. I am going to discuss why people drop out of this movement! Why people throw in the towel! Why they walk away!

Now, I will start by stating those who do walk away often do so because they have a fundamental misunderstanding of our movement, of what we as nationalists aim to achieve.

 

And fundamentally, they do not understand what motivates those people who are here for the duration. They don’t understand why people stand firm for a lifetime of struggle!

 

Now, there is one thing I don’t think I will ever understand. And that’s how a nationalist could ever bear to go back to a normal life.

 

Now, I’m going to try and answer why people will walk away, but I could never, ever understand how they could walk away. You see, once you’ve understood the truth of what we face, once you have understood that we are in a struggle for our very survival and that our race itself faces an existential threat, and what’s more, when you learn that this is not something that’s happened by accident, nor is it something that is occurring naturally.

 

But instead, it is a carefully orchestrated conspiracy to end our people! How could you ever turn your back on all of this and go back to normal life?

 

But really, what I’ve just done is undersell the issue. Because it’s much, much worse than I’ve just made out.

 

We are not just being bred out of existence in a peaceful fashion, whilst we live in idyllic utopian conditions. We aren’t being reduced to a minority that will be revered and respected by all. As our numbers decline and our population becomes an ageing one we will not be lovingly cared for and praised by those who have come here to take advantage of what we and our ancestors built! They benefit from what we have built, but they will not thank us for it, not even once!

 

Instead, we will be reduced to a minority, and a hated minority at that! A minority that is demonised and vilified and blamed for all the ills of the world! And we will be treated accordingly.

 

Knowing all that, how can anyone think about turning their back on our movement and going back to the normal world? How could someone go back to sitting in the pub having banal conversations about which team will win the league, or which team is going to get relegated? Or maybe sitting at home, eagerly anticipating who will win Strictly Come Dancing, or Britain’s Got Talent? How can you be in possession of the knowledge of what is in store for our race, then go back to doing nothing about it?

 

And what’s more, how can anyone that knows what is happening live a life of pretending not to know the truth?

Now, a lot of people draw analogies between our movement and a particular film, The Matrix. And the topic of dropping out of this movement always reminds me of a scene in that film, where one of the freedom fighters who is awake to the truth meets with the evil agents trying to hunt down the resistance. The turncoat laments being awake to the truth. In the film’s terminology he laments not taking the blue pill.

 

As he sits complaining about the weight of knowing the truth, he takes a bite of a piece of steak that he knows is just a computer generated illusion, and he proclaims the following:

 

“You know, I know this steak doesn’t exist. I know that when I put it into my mouth the Matrix is telling my brain that it is juicy and delicious. After nine years, you know what I realise? Ignorance is bliss!”

 

But is ignorance really bliss?

 

You see, when the turncoat in the Matrix went to the evil agents and asked to be plugged back into the computer generated world from which he was plucked, one of the conditions he demanded for his compliance with the system was that he wanted his mind wiping first, as he no longer wished to know the truth about the world around him. So that when he was placed back into the Matrix, he remembered nothing!

 

But here in the real world, you can’t do that you can’t just go back to normal life and forget what you know. And even if you try to forget, even if you try to put the truth to the back of your mind, wherever you go the visually observable reality is clear to see. We are becoming a minority! And even if you don’t go outside, even if you hide away in your bedroom with the curtains drawn, the anti-White narrative will seep into your little world.

 

It is everywhere!

 

On the adverts, in the TV shows, in the catalogs that come through the door in the computer games, in the films and every other medium that connects you to that outside world that you’re hiding from. It is all pervasive!

 

I suppose the only way you could truly escape reality is to be fabulously rich and to simply keep running! To keep moving away to a Whiter area. And every time that area begins to suffer increasing diversity, well, you simply move again.

 

But eventually there will be no place left to run. There will be nowhere to hide! And even if you do escape, even if you do live out your days in a pleasant White enclave free from the horrors that cities like Birmingham and London are experiencing today, then you just leave the problem to your children and grandchildren! Because eventually, …

Eventually someone has to face it!

 

Now, saying that, I can see why somebody might spend years fighting for this cause giving their heart and soul to the struggle. And then their circumstances change. Maybe they start a family. Maybe they have to care for an elderly or ill parent. Or maybe they take on a job that simply doesn’t give them as much free time. I can understand why these people might not do as much as they once did or not commit as much time to the cause. I can understand why someone might choose to take a backseat. But I can’t understand how somebody could drop out completely and just go back to normal life!

So although I will never understand how someone can walk away, I will attempt to answer why people do that.

 

And I came to a very simple conclusion. Which is that most people who drop out of the movement do so because they do not understand either the magnitude or the nature of our struggle.

 

People come into this movement because they want change! And sadly, some have the naive belief that this change will come about overnight, in a matter of months or maybe a few short years. They believe that once a new party is formed, it will only be a short time before we see a nationalist majority in Parliament and that the fight will be won swiftly and decisively.

 

These people expect a group like Patriotic Alternative to be formed, be registered, and within a few electoral cycles, for someone like me to be presiding over a record Parliamentary majority, and for all the ills in the country just to be solved with relative ease. But this would be the political equivalent of waving a magic wand. And it’s not going to happen!

 

And I know that some of you might now have your hearts in your mouths. Some of you might be thinking:

 

“Mark, it’s time to stop speaking. We need hope! We need people to believe that we can win and sweep aside the anti-White system!”

 

Some of you might be hoping that Laura is going to jump up and cut the mic and end this now, pushing me to one side! She’ll take the stage and tell you all that we’ll be in power before the decade is out! And that she will give you absolute guarantees and assurances of total victory!

 

But neither myself or Laura will do that.

 

I have, however, repeatedly, made one promise to you all! And to all those who support Patriotic Alternative! And to all those within the wider nationalist community who broadly support us.

 

My promise is not one of absolute victory, but a promise that we will fight! That we will fight for the survival of our people, and that we will never give in!

And I cannot make you either a fairer or more honest promise than that.

 

What’s more, I will not, and I never have promised something that I cannot guarantee to deliver. I will not stand in front of you, as nationalist leaders have in the past, and tell you that:

 

“This year or this particular electoral cycle is make or break, that it’s now or never! This is our finest hour!”

 

Because all of that would be fundamentally dishonest.

What’s more, whether you realise it or not, it’s speeches like that that have left countless generations of nationalists, demoralised and crestfallen. And many of the people who listened to those speeches, when they realised it was all rhetoric, they walked away.

 

So if nationalism is not about quick victories, if nationalism is not a five year plan for total success, that will, with absolute, 100% certainty, lead to us seizing power overnight, what is it?

 

How should we view our struggle? And what place do we have in this struggle?

 

And the best way I can explain this to you is by talking about buildings. You see, I am a man who loves architecture. And really, when it comes to architecture and architectural brilliance and beauty, there is nothing in this country, or in the world for that matter, that comes close to a cathedral.

 

Cathedrals are simultaneously the most beautiful, yet most imposing buildings ever created! They are masterpieces of both art and architecture! And the attention to detail and love that went into those structures is unrivaled! They simply don’t build buildings like that anymore. And if anyone says that’s because aliens built them, Joe will see you out!

 

Now. I remember the first time I saw York Minster. And if you have not been to York and seen York Minster, I recommend that you do as seeing is believing. Pictures don’t do the structure justice! They don’t convey either the size or the majesty. To stand beneath the front of the building is to be dwarfed by something truly magnificent and awe inspiring. And crucially, something that took untold man hours to build!

 

In fact, York Minster is built on ground that was first broken in the 7th century, 673, to be precise. The foundations for the building that stands on that ground today were laid in 1230, and the construction was finally completed in 1472. It took 242 years to construct!

 

And that’s why we don’t build buildings like that anymore! It’s too expensive. It’s too time consuming, and everyone wants to see immediate progress. We are now all too used to getting what we want, when we want. And anything that takes too long or requires a great sacrifice, well, is it really worth it? Is it worth the trouble? And that is why buildings that go up today are made of prefabricated pieces held together by concrete.

 

That’s why when Britain’s population began to boom in the wake of World War II, we didn’t see beautiful homes and living spaces being lovingly created. But instead, our landscape was blighted by those awful grey tower blocks that look so ugly and clash so horribly with the natural beauty of the green and pleasant land that this country is known for!

 

But thinking of the building of York Minster, it made me wonder. And then something hit me, something profound. The men who laid the foundations in 1230, the men who put those first huge stones in place, they all knew that they would die without ever seeing the now famous spires atop that cathedral.

In fact, the men who placed those first blocks deep in the ground, and who could only imagine the majesty of the structure that would one day stand atop those stones, they did so in the knowledge that not only would they not see the spires, but it was likely that neither would their children.

 

Yet those men went to work with smiles on their faces and laid those stones. And over the next almost two and a half centuries, they spent millions of man hours building that cathedral, before finally the last spire sat atop the structure and the building was complete!

 

And those thousands of men, despite most of them never seeing the finished building, they all played their part in creating a structure that has been seen by and inspired millions of people all over the world over hundreds of years! They built something that still stands today, inspiring thousands of people on a daily basis from all over the world who travel to York just to see that one masterpiece!

 

This was not a matter of simply doing a job. This was not a matter of getting a project completed as quickly as possible. This was a labour of love! It was a lifelong task and it represented a huge sacrifice!

 

Those men believed in something higher, something that they believed was worth toiling for, even if they personally would never see the results. And those men, they did toil! Day after day, year after year, decade after decade, men came to the site and worked and retired, then died.

 

And they all did it with smiles on their faces, knowing that one day something incredible would stand on that ground. Something for their children, for their grandchildren, and for countless generations to marvel at.

 

And that cathedral, or more accurately, the building of that cathedral, is what I would liken this struggle to! And the mindset of the men who built that cathedral is the mindset we must adopt! We are fighting for the very existence and survival of our race!

 

And I’m not going to mince my words. Our race is the greatest race to ever walk the earth!

The blood, those in our veins, is the blood of explorers, great architects, writers, poets, military commanders, inventors, industrialists! The men and women who collectively not only gave birth to the greatest civilisation that ever existed, but who went on to defend that civilisation too.

 

And this fight that we are engaged in now, the fight for the survival and betterment of our people, did not start with us. It did not start with the people in this movement today. And that is the mistake that many of the people who come into this movement make. They believe that the struggle began the day they signed up! They believe that the struggle only exists in the here and now! That this is our time and things will surely be wrapped up quickly. And if they’re not, it’s back to the pub or the sofa!

Can you imagine what would be in the centre of York today if the men who began building York Minster would have taken that attitude? There would merely be windswept ruins, the beginning of something that was never concluded. There would not be the imposing structure that stands today. No giant stained glass windows, no awe inspiring architecture and no spires that reach the very heavens.

 

To think that the here and now is the only time that the struggle for our existence has ever taken place, and to think that you, as an individual, will, in a few short years, with minimal sacrifice see the ultimate victory of our race against our oppressors is, quite frankly, as delusional as it is self centreed.

 

If you look at the fight for our racial survival and liken it to the building of a cathedral, then this cathedral that we are building has been under construction not for years, not for decades, not even for centuries. It has been going on for far longer than it took to build York Minster! The fight for our racial survival has been a struggle that has lasted for millennia!

 

When King Leonidas of Sparta took his 300 men to oppose the Persian hordes they collectively knew they would most likely never see Sparta again. But they fought to their last breath for the survival of their people and their homeland. Imagine what would have happened if Leonidas’s men would have refused to fight, if they were not guaranteed that the fight would be over swiftly, or that they did not receive assurances that they would be home in time for dinner? They knew sacrifice was part of their struggle, and they embraced it!

 

When the Spanish were driven out of Spain by the Moorish invaders, did they give up? No! For hundreds of years, they waged a Reconquista, a reconquering of their lands. And when the first brave Spaniards began their quest to reconquer their homeland in 711, did they all demand guarantees that they would see the complete re-establishment of a Spanish kingdom on their soil by the end of the year? No! It was not until centuries later and after many great sacrifices that Spain was free of foreign conquerors, and once again under the control of its rightful owners.

 

What of the brave soldiers of the Holy Roman Empire that made a last stand at the Battle of Vienna in 1683? For two months, Vienna had been under siege by 150,000 soldiers of the Ottoman Empire. Yet on the 12 September of that year when the brave men of Europe charged at the foreign invaders did they issue the demand that they would only fight if they received assurances of a swift and easy victory? No! They fought for the survival of their race without any assurances of victory and in the knowledge that, in fact, survival was unlikely.

And what of the men who fought the Red Army on the Eastern front in the Second World War, in the ice and snow? They fought until their bullets ran out. And then they fought on with whatever they could lay their hands on. They did not ask for victory to be confirmed in writing before lifting their rifles. They bravely fought to the end knowing that they would never see their homeland again. But they did so in the hope that their sacrifice would mean that their homeland and their folk would live on.

And there are dozens, if not hundreds, in fact thousands of stories of men and women of our race making sacrifices to ensure the continued survival of our people. And all these men and women stood strong in the face of adversity and sometimes against overwhelming odds in order to play their part in ensuring our racial survival!

 

And just like the generations who laboured in York building that cathedral, many never lived to see the fruits of their sacrifice. But they still happily gave their best to ensure that their descendants would live in a better world.

 

A world where people of European descent would not only survive, but where we would thrive! Where we could express ourselves, where we could embrace our cultures and where we could uphold our ancient traditions.

 

But to take this further, our involvement in this struggle for the survival of our race should not be seen as something that will ever come to an end. We are simply playing our small role in a centuries long battle for survival. A battle for survival that will go on long after we have been laid to rest.

 

So what kept those men smiling as they built York Minster, even when they knew they would never see the spires put in place? Well, in a word, the simple answer is; faith!

And faith is something we all need. As once you lose faith, you are on the path to a dark place that is filled only with despair. And I ask you this, why should anyone lose faith in the White race? Because just as a cathedral is the most incredible of all buildings, we are the most incredible of all people! All people of the world looked to the skies, pointed to the heavens and imagined.

 

Yet only one race took to the skies. Only one race realised the ultimate dream, managed to reach out and touch the very heavens that all others could merely stare at in wonder. And you are part of that family of magnificent people and your long and storied history reaches back to the time when this island was covered in ice sheets.

 

We are not gathered here today to fool ourselves into believing that we will take power and achieve all our goals in a twelve month window and then come back to this spot to raise our glasses and celebrate a historic victory. We are here today to affirm our commitment to something greater!

And let me tell you this. Even if we did win a huge victory, even if by some miracle we managed within the next few years to win a general election with the largest Parliamentary majority ever seen, seizing back all power from the globalists and reversing the demographic changes that are sweeping across our land, our struggle would not be over!

 

In fact, in many ways it would just be beginning! For we are not fighting to merely free our people so we can sink further into the madness and degeneracy of the modern world alone, free from the prying eyes of foreigners who now live in our lands.

 

We fight to free our people and prevent their replacement, so that we can thrive! So we can grow, so we can flourish! So our people can reach new heights and create brave new worlds. We do not fight so we can die in privacy. We fight so that we can take our destiny back into our own hands, so that every future generation is better and stronger and wiser than the last!

 

We do not fight to be left alone to wallow in the swamp! We fight to raise up our people so they can reach for the stars. We fight in order to ensure not only a future for White children, but we fight for the best future for White children!

 

And most importantly, so that White children can be the best they can be! So that every White child born can achieve his or her potential, free from the shackles of not only mass immigration and anti-White poison, but also the sickening LGBT degeneracy, the warped materialism, the hedonistic madness and the dysgenic pressures imposed on them by this sick, liberal, tolerant world!

We are here today to reaffirm our faith in our people.

 

But more so, we are here today to reaffirm our commitment to this eternal struggle! The struggle that countless generations of our folk engaged in and that countless nameless men and women fought for. The struggle to ensure the continued existence of our people!

 

My friends, we are here because we understand that the most precious thing in the world is our people! And for those people, we will struggle, and we will fight, and we will never, ever give in!

Great speech, very inspiring we need to focus on the long battle ahead, we also need to shine a light on the perpetrators, I just wish you would name the Jews more, galvanizing on the task and on the enemy are both equally important and necessary, but notwithstanding that, thank you, Mark, Hail our people!

York Minster was built for the glory of God, not man. We certainly can glory in achievement of the Minster’s construction by our people, but without Christ, there are no foundations to our civilisation or the building itself. I don’t mean to say that every nationalist must be a Christian, but to deny the roots of our wonderful heritage is to deny the metaphysical Christian inspiration that made our ancestors reach for the heavens. Our leaders must be strong, but they must be humble enough to place themselves in the eternal order, serving God and inspiring all men to do likewise. England is a Christian nation.
